Saw your wristband. Mates in Construction and had to look it. Didnt realize that construction worker have one of the highest suicide rates. Thanks for supporting them. I have brothers that work construction here in the US.
Thanks, I went in a course , you don’t realise the mental health issues some construction workers suffer . It was an eye opener. My band means I’m here as a support person to help and confide in, Then make sure they are safe
I’m pretty sure this was because of the new Hepa cloths bags being released with the diamond edition. But I still think it feels like a T-shirt compared to the other bags
Thanks for your comment , i did suggest this in my video due to moving from paper inner bags to cloth HEPA Filtration.. The only Issue i find with the thinner bags is they don't last as long when washing as the older type
@@KirbyEnthusiast but making them thinner should make them cheaper to replace, and the inner lining of a plasticy rubber, means that you won't have to deal with expensive bags becoming the filter, due to offbrands, as you mentioned in a previous video
TheRandom Man yeh I get that , just had new bag come for my G4 as it had I little Hole coming on the outside . The new bag is way thinner . Don’t think the new one will last 25yrs 😂
@@KirbyEnthusiastget a micrometer and a cfm tester, get your "high quality" thick bag, than your "low quality" thin bag, if they preform similarly in both tests, technology is advancing, if the thick bag does better, it's work in progress, if the new bag does not as good in the micrometer test, maybe it does better in the other test. Reverse applies too
TheRandom Man I think the thinner bag will increase airflow more as it did in my test on the G7 . Obviously it’s less restrictive. Think that’s another reason Kirby lowered to 635w as they did with G4 to G6. As mini emptor improved airflow son Kirby lowered down to save in power which brought it back close to the airflow of the 700w G4

I suspect the thinner outer bags has more to do with the inner bag getting better. The outer bag just doesn’t need to be as thick maybe?
That's what i thought but the Sentria & Avalir bags seemed better quality, compared to the Diamond bag that seemed cheaply made

yes, my ultimate G feels thinner than my G5

They are getting thinner because the inner bags are getting higher quality because you are required to use the cloth inner bag
