Something small to point out, the animation breaks the "180" rule in film making quite often. The problem with this is that often audiences might get confused by who is who in the scene, since the direction these characters face often flip 180° from scene to scene. The similar designs also do not help.
This is awesome, man! Couple techniques I'd like to mention that I feel you missed: Easing and mild stretching (including squashing). The best case near the start is 1:21. I have no clue what that's referencing, but I feel like there were a few things that could've changed: 1. After smear, decelerate spin then reaccelerate before impact (instead of smear to normal speed) 2. Moderately stretch out kick leg (even off screen would work but maybe not for the reference) 3. Slow down kick leg then excessively accelerate for impact 4. Decelerate the kick leg from the fast accelerated speed after impact Stuff like that. I could say more or be more specific, but idk if you'll even see this lmfao
