Hey Morgan: Great video on your Cadillac ev and the tour of GM headquarters. Keep the video’s coming.

Just purchased the Lyriq Sport 2 three days ago! While I'm still learning, it's absolutely spectacular. This video was super helpful (especially with cold weather details). I relate to your story about how fun it is to drive & how it has already started to change how I drive. Also, love the name golf cart 😂 Part of my reasoning for choosing the Lyriq aside from the style, is that it actually fits golf clubs in the trunk & the back seat can fit a Great Dane. I was super nervous about purchasing - hyperventilated through the whole process - but happy so far!

Do other automakers EV's work in a similar fashion as GM's Ultium-based vehicles when they're left for extended periods?

Just took possession of a Lyriq Sport 3. I also own a Mach E. Despite both being mid sized SUVs they are very different cars. The Cadillac has a much more refined ride and luxurious interior, the Ford is much sportier in it's handling and doesn't feel so heavy. One the whole the Ford has a better UI on the software. The STUPIDEST thing on the Cadillac is the inability to turn off the fake engine noise like to can on the Ford.

Hey, I think the main reason for that "noise" is safety. It's like a heads-up for pedestrians that an electric vehicle is coming since it doesn't make any engine noise. And I'm pretty sure that sound turns off once you go past a certain speed.

Hey Morgan I enjoy your videos look forward to watching. On another topic. Lancer and wing fan. You obviously enjoyed Windsor and its proximity to Detroit while at university.

    Wonderful overview of your Cadillac.
From what you’ve seen while owning this vehicle and living in a colder climate, how much range do you lose @ -10 F?
Looking forward to your next update. They really are a beautiful vehicle 👍🏼

Does your Cadillac app in the infotainment system work?

Mine is in the shop for the 2nd time since I bought it 6 months ago for complete electrical shut dow which required it to be towed from my garage. What if it died while on the freeway, this would be super dangerous. While I like the looks and the drive, it has too many problems. Trying to get a buyback under my state's lemon law.

How much did you pay for the charge?

You don’t just lose range, you are losing money because you paid for that range and it just sat there losing range. When you park your car with 3/4 of a tank ( gas), you return two weeks later and still have 3/4 of a tank.
