just a note you can actually get the 30% anemo res decrease from her skill when it hits an enemy with her first passive!!! so if you dont have her burst up or want to save it you can still get that res decrease

That'd be nice. At the beginning of the banner you select one of the three four star characters, just like you do with the weapon banner. After you get two you don't want, your third will be the one you want, which resets whenever you get them.
I was just building her to support Wanderer. But then i finally C6 her from standard banner, got extremely motivated, leveled her to 90 and triple crowned her. 🤭 Wanderer is still at level 80 with bare minimum stats.
I like your style of play. I agreed that sometimes the build/levelling of which characters depends on your team at that moment. It gives motivation to keep on playing genshin

I manage to play C2 Faruzan with only 200% ER, because my Venti’s E is the recharge for her. (Venti E, switch to Faruzan to collect particles.) I use that Faruzan + Mona + Bennett with my Venti, works pretty darn well. (Still building Mona though.)

If you have Sacrifical Bow on C1 Faruzan, you can loop enemies with her Elemental Skill 😂 Basically, you get 4 shots that will pull enemies in and lift them into the air. Because her elemental skill has a strangely low cooldown, when you finish the 4th shot, you can use it again. By that time, the cooldown of the Sacrificial Bow has reset and round and around it goes. I was wondering how to maximize that damage.
To everyone watching this thinking if they should use a 5* lvl90 bow like Skyward for the base atk over a 4* bow like Fav or even a lower tier bow all maxxed lvl you should 100% go for Fav for extra energy and battery support with the white particles. Legit the difference between lvl90 Skyward and lvl70 Fav in my case with a Xiao E(skill dash) was from 18k or so without her at all to 32k with Skyward and 31k with Fav again Skyward maxxed Fav lvl70, a measly 1k difference between a 5* maxxed bow that offered nothing that she could benefit from and a lvl70 4* bow that literally makes her hundreds of times better and easier to play,so trust me don't bother trying to reach that maximum potential base atk threshold cuz after a point is not worth it,you get more dmg output from her maxxed out and a maxxed out Fav bow than a maxxed out 5* bow despite the base atk being lower with the Fav simply because you can use her burst freely and not have to grind energy for her which makes you able to keep the uptime on it nonstop(by nonstop i mean every rotation) I even tried it with a lvl1 1* bow and the result was a 29.5 or .6 or something like that instead of 31-32k simply because regardless of her base atk the burst still debuffs enemy anemo res by 30% and buffs anemo dmg dealt by you by 18%(more depending on how much you leveled her burst) the base atk thing is just added bonus which means you don't even need it,yes it can increase the output but its by such a tiny amount is not worth thinking about it unlike Benny boy who's whole buff is base don the base atk he has her base atk buff is a passive if memory serves me right so it can be ignored and you get better results.
I'm running her with a dps kazuha(c1 so lots of particles)and a diona with a sacrificial bow so ican afford to run her on a dps build (77/165 crit)with only 175%recharge and a skyward harp so she gives the biggest boost and does ok dmg, and so far the rotations are going smoothly 🥰. C1 faruzan btw, didn't manage to get her c2 sadly but that's ok
I managed to pull scara on these last few days of his banner and I finally got a copy of Faruzan on the same 10 pull. But I have like zero mora from raising scara so I have to wait to lvl her up and build her.
I find that sac bow is a nice middle ground. I also have it r5 though and I can see how depending on the team comp/cooldowns you could spend too much time on field with her. 250 ER if anybody is curious.
What also sucks is that her 2nd charged shot DOESN'T generate any particle, correct me if I'm wrong tho But all n all she's pretty broken with high investment

If your only reason for labeling Faruzan a dedicated support is because of her ult that shreds anemo resistance and gives anemo dmg to the team then by that logic C1 Ganyu would be a dedicated support

MHY could have spread out the fixes a bit more evenly and it wouldn't be as much of an issue. She literally goes from just being kinda whatever at c0-5 -> zomgwtfbbq best specific element 4* buffer by quite a decent margin at c6. Pulling on this banner is more like buying Faruzan c6 with a free Scara c2-3 or whatever. Thankfully I wanted Scara (and Gorou) in the first place.

In my case, faruzan's goblet get whatever artifact that have highest er%. In this case, it is hp goblet with 20+% er. We dont need to care about her goblet because she is not dealing damage anyway. Time piece and circlet seems about right.

She actually qualifies as a sub dps because of her strong scalings, if you can manage crit ratios with an Anemo damage goblet she is definitely on par with Xinque

I don't care anyone say that character or what.. as long I have fun to play as the characters and can still easily defeat enemy.. I'm playing Faruzan only Faruzan in my team. She can whosh the enemy with her polywind magic.
if you're asking this for bennet, I believe the "go to" weapon for him these days is sapwood blade (565 base atk with ER substat). otherwise the actual Highest base atk sword is alley flash at 620, with EM substat. hope this helps :)
i just wouldn't use her until c6, and at c6 i would try to play her with adc stats + stringless or with TF as carry (hi zajef). She is just so bad at c0 ICANT its even worse than sara (at least sara's carry IS a battery and dont need one)
would the favonius warbow still be the best pick if shes c6? (meaning she has better energy regen from cons.) or would it then be the Elegy for the end?
If this is of any help, I do have a C6 Faruzan equipped with an ER sands. I use an R1 Skyward Harp on her most of the time and have negligible energy issues even though I haven't fully leveled any of her artifacts. Her ER is currently at 168, but should be close to 200 by the time I finish building her (note: almost all her other pieces have good ER substats).
@@mmdinnovations2990 this does help. If thats the case, i will build the elegy for her, as it also buffs the teams atk dmg and EM. Id easily go over 250% ER with that weapon, so should be fine. (Just to be sure, when u run her, u dont run 2 electro chars allong side it right? Cuz that would change stuff 😂)
@@donnyraams9579 On paper, the Elegy would seem to be an excellent choice for a C6 Faruzan, but I don't have one so cannot speak from experience. If your Faruzan is C6, honestly and from practical testing, ER doesn't seem to be an issue but it still makes sense to run an ER sands. I don't have either my Scramouche or Heizou built so have been running her with my C3 Jean and it is usually Faruzan that's waiting on Jean's ult rather than the other way around. Jean with Faruzan's buff is basically a 2 button nuke - 35k with her E plus 64k Q so around 90-100k. These figures do not factor in other elements so you can imagine how effective a sunfire combo is with Faruzan's buff. Other team mates is almost always Layla for shielding and for laying the foundation reaction element. Other unit is a flex, usually Bennett or Raiden both of whom are very good with Faruzan.
@@donnyraams9579 The other interesting thing I (and many others) have found about Faruzan is that she's very viable outside of her role as a niche anemo support. Try this team: Layla, Faruzan, Nilou and Kuki Shinobu. On the surface it doesn't make much sense but in practice, this comp is insanely fun and surprisingly effective. Plus once you've figure out a rotation for them, you'll find that their Ults are almost available 100% of the time.

Bout the teams… im running her to support my c6 wanderer and c6 xiao.. she has no further value to me other then supporting like a champ🙈 Have been wondering on how i could make her work in the same team as a c6 jean to get that double anemo shred going, but 3 anemo chars in one party doesnt seem like the best thing to do. Could add zhongli but thats it… unsure if that would work better then say: wanderer, faruzan, bennet, xiangling, as it adds some swirls n resonance buffs. Or wanderer, faruzan, zhongli, bennet. Or ever zhongli + a geo char like albedo.. for shields and geo resonance (much like the xiao, jean, zhongli, albedo team) Kinda want to find that sweet spot, but i have not found it yet 😅

Yup. Pretty damn scuffy to put her with ICD particle cd. Maybe they didn’t want Sac bow E + 2 shots - refresh E + 2 shots (8 particles vs. 2).

it does both, it’s just that her damage is not very significant, every little bit helps though so it’s not completely useless

You need crit rate if youre running a favonious bow otherwise you cannoy proc the bow affect

if you're asking this for bennet, I believe the "go to" weapon for him these days is sapwood blade (565 base atk with ER substat). otherwise the actual Highest base atk sword is alley flash at 620, with EM substat. hope this helps :)

Faruzan's burst should be used before Bennett's burst? I was doing the opposite.
Whichever has longer duration should be used first. Besides, most would be using her burst for the buff instead of the damage.

Had ten tools to use for kokomi....got 2 faruzan and a diluc. Failed!
i just wouldn't use her until c6, and at c6 i would try to play her with adc stats + stringless or with TF as carry (hi zajef).
She is just so bad at c0 ICANT its even worse than sara (at least sara's carry IS a battery and dont need one)
I recommend her with Sayu.

would the favonius warbow still be the best pick if shes c6? (meaning she has better energy regen from cons.) or would it then be the Elegy for the end?
If this is of any help, I do have a C6 Faruzan equipped with an ER sands. I use an R1 Skyward Harp on her most of the time and have negligible energy issues even though I haven't fully leveled any of her artifacts. Her ER is currently at 168, but should be close to 200 by the time I finish building her (note: almost all her other pieces have good ER substats).
@@mmdinnovations2990 this does help. If thats the case, i will build the elegy for her, as it also buffs the teams atk dmg and EM. Id easily go over 250% ER with that weapon, so should be fine.
(Just to be sure, when u run her, u dont run 2 electro chars allong side it right? Cuz that would change stuff 😂)
@@donnyraams9579 On paper, the Elegy would seem to be an excellent choice for a C6 Faruzan, but I don't have one so cannot speak from experience.
If your Faruzan is C6, honestly and from practical testing, ER doesn't seem to be an issue but it still makes sense to run an ER sands.
I don't have either my Scramouche or Heizou built so have been running her with my C3 Jean and it is usually Faruzan that's waiting on Jean's ult rather than the other way around.
Jean with Faruzan's buff is basically a 2 button nuke - 35k with her E plus 64k Q so around 90-100k. These figures do not factor in other elements so you can imagine how effective a sunfire combo is with Faruzan's buff.
Other team mates is almost always Layla for shielding and for laying the foundation reaction element. Other unit is a flex, usually Bennett or Raiden both of whom are very good with Faruzan.
@@donnyraams9579 The other interesting thing I (and many others) have found about Faruzan is that she's very viable outside of her role as a niche anemo support.
Try this team: Layla, Faruzan, Nilou and Kuki Shinobu. On the surface it doesn't make much sense but in practice, this comp is insanely fun and surprisingly effective. Plus once you've figure out a rotation for them, you'll find that their Ults are almost available 100% of the time.

Have been wondering on how i could make her work in the same team as a c6 jean to get that double anemo shred going, but 3 anemo chars in one party doesnt seem like the best thing to do. Could add zhongli but thats it… unsure if that would work better then say: wanderer, faruzan, bennet, xiangling, as it adds some swirls n resonance buffs. Or wanderer, faruzan, zhongli, bennet. Or ever zhongli + a geo char like albedo.. for shields and geo resonance (much like the xiao, jean, zhongli, albedo team)
Kinda want to find that sweet spot, but i have not found it yet 😅
