Wendy is so damn beautiful. I'm a straight woman and still can't refrain from staring at her pictures......my God! The only other woman that did this to me was Claudia Cardinals. Both true beauties but Wendy tops them all.....beauty and brains. I hear she is an attorney now.

+Lizzie Beth It's a publicists fact that contestants from certain South American countries are pressurized to perfect their looks in order to achieve the best possible result - the title. I believe Venezuela, Colombia are part of those countries. I believe this has to do with the ongoing poverty there and with many attractive women there, the ones who want to really succed are pressured to go to extremes which means self-enhancing procedures to certain parts if their bodies. If you google this you will find many reports. I actually think it is an unfair advantage and possibly the main reason why they have so many winners. Along with politics of course.

Just simply thought they must be damn good. I definitely knew about Brazil and all of the crazy plastic surgeries going on there....right down to the formaldehyde used to straighten hair but never imagined other countries in South America. Gee....that kinda makes me feel so different about the contestants from there now.

When Miss Trinidad and Tobago won MU for the first time in 1977 the other delegates especially the black delegates reacted the same. And I'm sure when we win it next time out girl would get the same reaction.

Very happy that Miss T&T won because I remembered that I rooted for her at that point of time and when Miss T&T won, everyone gathered to congratulated her. That was the essence!
