    I hereby nominate Dillon and Reebs as the winners of teaching this way of eating as SIMPLE, NOURISHING and totally SUSTAINABLE. There are many plant based leaders in the industry, but everyone new to WFPB or anyone with a busy lifestyle, should know about Well Your World.

    I always try to ask myself 2 things: Do I have a starch? Do I have greens? Then I'm good to go. I blame Instagram & TikTok for people thinking they always have to make some fancy meal all the time. Excellent video, very relatable! Thank you.

    We are 14 years into WFPB and I definitely have recipe amnesia!! This is amazing, thank you! I try to menu plan on a weekly basis and keep on top of my store cupboard of basics but run out of steam...... so this is an incredible gift I really appreciate. I am in the UK and a fit and healthy 71 year old :)

    As a veteran to this way of eating, I'd say recipe amnesia is my #1 problem too! Like Reebs said, I'll literally be looking at all the food in the house and not have a clue as to what to make LOL This video was so helpful for me! Thanks for taking the time to make it! 💕

    Another simplification: I recently started getting my groceries delivered instead of going out for them. So much effort saved! Way easier. Plus, this way I can choose the discount grocery instead of the regular one near my house. Will save many hundreds of dollars per year and tens of hours. Have you all tried that too? I might be late to the game on this one.

I’ve been plant based for 13 years and I’m finally admitting to myself that I can’t cook big elaborate meals every day and I can’t eat out all the time if I want to be healthy. I’ve been learning so much from you two even being an old timer for this way of eating. Thank you!

    "...it helps you to lower your standards." This cracked me up the way it first sounded, but the truth behind it needs to be emphasized again and again. I am living proof. I started down this path trying to remake SAD foods into SOS foods that were AMAZING and it was exhausting and I'd give up after a few weeks. I needed to shift my entire attitude about food as a a means to an end, my good health, and not just a prize-winning photo on Instagram that (secondarily) tastes good. Thank you for raising this point and repeating it -- needs to be said! And thanks for your amazing videos and message - you two are the best!

    Oh my lucky stars, this is exactly (!) what I've been needing!!! I was born in '61 and Mom fed us kids canned veggies for the most part, and salads that were literally wedges of iceberg lettuce with slices of store tomatoes and globs of 1000 Island Dressing. That plus meats and potatoes every night. She also never let us cook, somehow afraid we might start a fire?? I don't know. After Mom and Dad divorced, he remarried a former farm girl so food on custody weekends was better and more varied, but by that time I had no interest in cooking, and I only wish she'd made me learn. Here I am at 61 now learning how to truly eat well and healthy. I enjoy making cookbook meals (bought a few from PlantPure and China Study from a thrift store) but they're mainly like a weekly or so project. I had zero idea how to do this thing on a doable daily basis. This help is a godsend, Thank you!!

    I never got burned out from making recipes. I love cooking and I still love cooking. I make so many recipes. It makes being plant based for enjoyable. When I buy groceries, I get ingredients for specific recipes, so I don't get stuck as to what to make. The ingredients I buy can be made into three recipes. I never run out of ideas of what to cook. My daughter calls me a vegan chef.

    This is the reason i come to this channel: inspiration of what to eat. Personally i found WYW sauces a life saver. When super lazy or tired & don’t wanna think what to make, i’d simply steam my veggies in the steamer basket that comes w/ with rice cooker & cook it at the same time as my rice in turbo speed of 9 min. Then all i have to decide is which sauce to use.

  • @SweeTart77kkibble
    @SweeTart77kkibble ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Love you guys and am a proud member of WYW. I meal prep for my husband’s lunches and smoothies on Sunday.He’s an engineer and likes to eat the same thing every day. It’s a thing. It is. This leaves just dinners to consider. I use the super cubes for cooked rice, leftovers and such for my lunches and the EXCITING thing with this video (for moi) is that we are about to embark on retired life in a camper and your menus will make our travel life simple, clean up friendly, and healthy. Thanks for your great work and real approach to eating. ❤

    I love this I completely understand about recipe amnesia, my family used to make fun of me because I'd get in ruts fixing certain recipes over and over. Then I get past those and fix others and it could be "years" before I make it again or have completely forgot about it!! I love this rotation and card idea!! I'll look at the fridge and then close it saying "I have no idea what to fix"!!

    I'll give it a try. Long time ago I realized that when I come home tired and hungry I just have to have something ready to eat. So batch cooking is the way to go for me. Saterday I spend most of my time and energy cooking and prepping. Our all time favorite is fantastic, but it takes me two hours to prepare it, so I seldom make it.
    There must be an easier way.😊

    WoW, I downloaded and read the Meal Rotator. You guys did an awesome job. The recipe amnesia is so me. I've been doing this going on 3 years now and still at times draw a complete blank on what to make. By the time I get up, work out, go to work and come home- well most days I'm just brain fried, and trying to think of something to make is just that much more exhausting. I will be using this whole concept. Thank you both for the work that went into this and for sharing it. It is very helpful.
