I always have issues on any project i take on. Ive learned to look at all these things as lesson, never failures. Youre doing great John, keep pushing! Excited to link up at Honda Meet!
Great to hear your honesty and advice. I love it when people are straight up and honest. I also love how you take responsibility and try and do the right thing. Mad props!
Hate to say it bro , but at this point , maybe you might just keep the k swap (we all know you like the car 😅) with how much you have in it .. would rather see you enjoy it than lose money on something that you really enjoy ... maybe find a dirt cheap car if you wanna flip something bro , woth all the extra parts you have .. you might could build a whole nother build off just left over parts lol .. peace and love brotha. Keep it radical , stay safe , and build on .. l8z John and besta luck on whatever you choose to do ... ps if ya ever in nc would love to link n either race or chill or anythi g tbh brotha , always fun to chill with other car ppl (with or without a camera i dont care as i just like to have friends )..n e ways sorry for the paragraph (my adhd never lets me just say 5 words lol) much live and respect brotha and mad respect to kerney to for keeping it real and still ryden with ya even knowing car was gonna mess up (not many significant others are down to ryde tbh)... yal are a match made perfectly bro .. n e ways ✌🏾 or i will keep writing on this damn phone lol 😂
I've learned after many car flips, that it's typically best to stick to boring stock cars. You have a larger range of people to sell to and less headaches from a previous owners modifications to an enthusiast kind of vehicle. Stock enthusiast vehicles are also ok, closer to stock the better. Also, it's best to stick to automatics when dealing with "commuter" cars. Most people aren't looking for a stick.
Love the channel, just started following. JUST FYI, I'm 90% sure you have a grounding issue. I've had this happen to my kswap and I just added a few more grounding wires and electrical issues had went away.
Other than the ECU issues, you may want to make sure ground wires from chassis to engine, transmission are in good condition. I had similar issue on my FG2 civic si with thinking my alternator and starter going out and battery but turned out to be bad corroded grounds. Hope this helps bro. Love the content
always always have the mindset of when you buy a swapped car that it will have problems, no matter how well its put together or who its built by, at best unless you have a plethora of used known good parts id just stick to flipping mostly stock cars. i.e b or d series. but hey you learned alot along the way and that counts for something
Need to heat shrink each individual wire don’t just leave them cut in a clump the might touch Each other or chassis b sure to fix that before you fry another ecu.
The ones that were cut and in a clump were just hanging out of the O2 sensor. Not a part of the circuit. That’s like saying a rock in your backyard could fry my ecu. The harness side however, yes. That could have fried the ecu. And I will not make that mistake again.
Hey, would you be interested in a 91 4 door sedan from California?? It’s a fully built & swapped D16z6. I don’t have your number, I know there’s a link to it somewhere, I’m just in the process of moving, and I can’t take it with me.
Bro just keep the car you’ll get a lot more money and we’ll get the content from the build we rather see you use the car, then sell it for some cheap profit. You’re not gonna make anything off the car, brother especially with all the custom welding fabrication and money put into it. You would have to sell it for at least 18 to 15. To may anything back
John, first of all thank you for coming to our car meet! I am glad you made it home that night without getting towed. Hope to see you again!
I have a FD civic I bought from a fellow member haha
Love the videos👍

John,
The key to winning on stubborn cars, is to be more stubborn than the problem. Logic and attitude is key.
There is no pain in this dojo.

Man 😮💨 so I am not the only one having issues lately. Really hope you can get it back on the road. #Velociraptor
Great tips, can't wait to start my car flip journey! 🚗
Can't you just look at the fuse looking through it? There is a bridge you can tell if it's burned

Would you consider haltech 750? Humble performance did a video about installing it in k. Would be awesome content. And great alternative to hondata

Clean to decent "Golden Era" B and D series Hondas make BETTER car flips. K swaps can be TOO expensive and Problematic.

Veloce raptor!!
are you still raffling the car off or just listing it for sale? (when the time comes)
It was initially an auction. The auction didn’t workout. Refunded everyone. Now I’m selling it once it’s complete.
