Today we are going to put my K24 Honda Civic on the dyno and compare a few different tunes to see just how good each one performs. The first is a stock K24 map from Hondata. The second is a street tune from my tuner MikeySpec that was made a few weeks ago on a car with a similar setup. And the last is a full dyno tune. We compare the horsepower, torque, and dyno sheets to decide if dyno tuning is even worth it when street tuning and base maps are options.
Then I take the car out for a rip to enjoy the new tune :)

Really good numbers for a bone stock 24. Whoever buys this should install a type s oil pump, 50 degree vtc and a full 3 inch exhaust. Should make north of 240whp with those mods on pump gas 🤙
Stock tsx vtec hits at 6k redline 7k. Had a 04 tsx 6sp. Working on k24a2 swaping my ek sedan.

I mean street tune is where its at for myself honestly with all my builds i due go on a dyno at some point aswell im not doing street tune because im poor its because dialing the tune in on a car while its in the air level sea level and heat along with average speeds of the area the car usually is driven in daily is way more dialed in vs the car sitting on a roller getting random ass air blowing on the front of the car from fans and the air leavel and fumes ext that are held inside the building is different from stepping outside air thats just me personally tho like i said they all see a dyno after at some point aswell down the rd

hell yea dyno tuning is worth it on anything. my tuner art at YCU will dyno tune then go on the street with you to make sure it drives 100 percent. my truck I just data log and send to my other tuner and they make revisions and send it to me

On my b20v I made 176whp. I put some skunk2 tuner 2 cams and made 210whp. So with just cams it picked up a lot.

I took 4 bar map turbo intercooler injectors fuel pump fpregulator and tuned and my car on 9 psi brakes axles 12:54
My buddy had a k20 eg hatch and it would smoke 3rd gear 14:01
