I personally enjoy my Kamio case! It's compact design helps maximize the space I have in my bag while fooling myself and others on just how much it carries. I'm able to carry my essential mildliners (9), a few lead refills, a mini ruler and a plethora of pens (9-10)!

My favorite pen cases r telescopic pen cases. They r available on Amazon. They look like they don't hold much but I have 25 zebra mildliner highlighters and 4 pens in one case. There is plenty of room for longer items like the Crayola twistable colored pencils also. They stand up and they r super cute.

I know Mead Five Star has a standing pencil case.
There are too many good ones to choose from. I guess the price would be a deciding factor.
