I too, loved the addition of anonymous Mr. Narrator. So much so that an hour after I watched this video and left my own comment under the pinned JetPens comment I suddenly recalled what Mr. Narrator said about a couple of his top picks. I'm a bit concerned that Mr. Narrator doesn't take his love of stationary as seriously as some of us do. He stated he buys multiple of his favorite erasers and favorite pens because he often loses them. What?!?! I would be devistated if I repeatedly lost my favorites! Haha!

Just got a stationary kit I put together on the website for $35. Absolutely love everything I got I don't think I can go back to normal pens or mechanical pencils ever again.
I finally organized everything in my wishlist. One of the new lists is Mechanical Pencils. Do I have a fave? Yes. Do I still want more? Yes!! Certain writing tasks have certain vibes and different vibes need different pencils, right? And like Ann, that mechanical pencil that looks like a wooden pencil is COOL!!!
Love it but $50 still isn't enough for me 😂 I love also that you feature your employee's unique interests and stationery styles, including the guitar tidbit at the end! My $50 purchase would have to include a Pilot Kakuno, a Pilot Iroshizuku ink, and a Tomoe River paper pad. And if there's any room left, all the washi tapes!!

Midori MD is my favorite paper for fountain pens. Everyone talks about how Tomoe River and others show sheen and shading, but I think MD shows off ink properties so much better! Sheening inks, like Organics Studio Nitrogen, sheen SO bright on MD!
On a tablet right now, so editing isn't an option for some reason.🙄 Just wanted to add that Josh has fantastic taste in guitars! I play more metal, but I have a strat-style and absolutely lust over all Jazzmaster/Jaguar styles. Metal is just mostly just surf-rock with heavy distortion.
My 8 kids (3-26 yrs old), and I LOVE watching your videos! Yes, even my 3yo, because he's at that cute "imitating mama" phase. Lol. I have homeschooled for 22 years, and 1 tool I use in helping them to retain what they learn and research, for history, literature, and penmanship is to journal and how to write with fountain pens. I have also found that using fountain pens has helped those of my children who are dyslexic (5 of them!). That was a VERY happy, accidental helpful tool we stumbled across! (Also, using dry erase boards helps, too, for any parents struggling with dyslexic children. The smooth-moving texture, freedom to "go big," and the wide array of colors help the brain to make that missing connection and cement the correct pattern and direction of letters and numbers)

The way you all express your love of stationery and demonstrate how you use your favorite tools is so beautiful and therapeutic. Surf green is the best color for guitars 😊 it's really a beautiful one. I used to know about makes and models but I just play am old cheap acoustic one now. I really enjoy these videos, they have helped me discover how many varietales AND details there are to stationery and then figure out what works for me. If it wasn't for you, maybe i'd never get motivantes to start using planners! 💖

Please let Ann know that she is So Valid for having so many pens, my mom is an accountant so she has, I am not exaggerating, at LEAST 50 different pens that she uses regularly for work, and 10 pens at home that she uses for notes when she's playing puzzle games. My mother has one vice and it is Really Neat Colorful Pens

Have a nice day."? 😮 Wow, a budget means something else in the USA. Here in South Africa if the total is R52.50 and I have R50, the cashier will tell me to get R2.50 from somewhere or to put one of my items back, so that I have enough money for my purchase. So what I mean to say, is: None of the people in this video shopped on a $50-budget.😊

I think the Pentel pocket brush was my gateway pen into caring about stationary tools. I got it when I used to live near the rose garden down the street from the Art Arsenal in San Jose. I had never used a brush pen before, but that didn't stop me from using up its cartridge very quickly. Wish list: well I just recently got my one piece hobonichi techo a6 from you guys, so I'm excited to begin filling the spring start pages with my 21-unit college quarter at De Anza. I've been using a couple Lamy Safari pens with z28's for quite a while now, so that Twsbi Go Clear Fountain pen looks like something I'l like to try. Also that OHTO mechanical pencil looks fun to use. I'm also a sucker for products that look like other products.
Man, gotta agree with Videographer-san, J. Herbin inks look great. I tried Rouge Grenat, and my mom wants a fountain pen with this ink! She doesn't write much, but I think I can find something for her...
