Virtually every review says savage acutrigger is the best thing since sliced bread. Only the honest reviewers say that they don't care for it. I have just prior acutrigger savage rifles and a couple with. I will admit that if you are mechanically inept, the acutrigger is your best choice because you can adjust it. If however you know rightie tighten lefties losey, the factory non acutrigger is so simple to make the pull to YOUR liking, it makes the acutrigger look sick.
We get this here in Australia as a straight pull, what that means is that just forward of the trigger is another trigger that closes the bolt after firing and ejecting the spent shell. Yes i know its silly but works for us with the rules we have. Its a handy fox/small game gun with a red dot on it as we can still push out the rounds pretty quick. Because we get it cheap the quibbles you mentioned can be over looked by some/me. Thanks for the vidio
