- HI guys! Are "Real" Italian leather handbags in Florence made from real Italian leather? Are they made in Italy or Florence? Things on the Strada in Florence are not always what they seem. You can think you are getting real Italian leather handbags and find out that they are mediocre quality and do not last long. A close look at them reveals defects that are not hard to notice. Hey Chris. Per your videos I found Senor Moretti shop in 2022 while on a cruise. I bought 5 bags from Ricardo as Senor Moretti was ill (covid I think). My concern is his website says closed on Sunday and I am going back to Florence on a cruise in September but will only be there ONE DAY SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 15th? Of course I want to purchase 4 or 5 bags ❤them so much but don't know how to communicate with him to make sure the store will be open?? Can you help?? My name is Debra from Las Vegas USA. I bought a beautiful leather jacket at a shop called Misuri on Santa Croce Square in Florence. It was very expensive. I'm going home tonight and check it out!

How long does an Italian handbag last??? I bought in the mid to late 90s a small, over-body bag that I still have and love and it will be around for 20 or 30 more years. I have had people ask where did you get that? The leather is so worn and soft it fits my skin, yet still has a perfect sheen. I bought it in Lucca north west of Florence so maybe same family!!! lol
Oh how awesome! 20-30 years is normal for a great handbag. Don't you just love that? The become old friends!

"REAL" Nigerian Leather Handbags - its no longer legal to say Italian Leather ! The leather came from Northern Nigeria not ITALY !
I suggest you contact Signor Moretti and ask him. He has been in the leather business for decades and al of his product say Italian leather. They do have cows in Italy.
