This is video number # 1084 in the series that is all about bad drivers.Here you can learn how to /how not to drive and behave in traffic. original commentary and/or storyline at the beginning or at the end of the clips throughout the compilation.Please, read each clip text commentary on the video screen. We tried to give you additional information about so you can better understand what did driver do wrong.
Here you can learn about consequences of bad driving/driving fails so you can educate yourself and be a better driver.
I edit the raw footage (I need a couple of days for every video I make),I add the location of the incident, I add arrows that follow cars to make the situation easier to be seen. I zoom in and out so everyone can see the action and many other things.

To whom ever was driving a red newer model Honda Accord with privacy window tint in the vicinity of the intersection of highway 27 and 38 in Franklinton Louisiana on 3/22/24 right around 5:45-6pm:
I slowed down to let you pass because you were 1-2 car lengths off my bumper. You did NOT pass so I slowed down again. When you swerved around me, you were inches from my front left fender. When you drove off the road into the gravel emergency lane, you ruined the front of my car by spraying large rocks on my windshield, bumper, grill, and roof. Have a good day.

If someone did the wrong thing then be mad about that but to attach someone's nationality because of a dumb move is just dumb in itself.

0:24 The right-turn lane has a yield sign, as does the U-turn lane. Not the best design for an intersection.
The truck may legally be required to yield the right of way to the cammer, depending on the traffic laws of that area, but the laws of physics always overrule the traffic laws. Better to be wrong and stop than to be right, but dead right.

Clip 2. The green light is for people going straight. You had a Yield sign, even when the light is green. And the truck was not making a u-turn, just turning left. He had the right-of-way.
Actually the truck has a yield sign too, and in this instance the truck is required to yield.
Semi could have stayed in the second lane. I get he needs extra space but 3 lanes?

@@ihazdashcam Where in the law (545.101) does it say "whoeever gets there first"? It doesn't. it does however state very clearly in 545.103 that a person making a left turn must not only yield, but enter that lane of traffic nearest to them. Not cross 3 lanes. No being a truck doesn't excuse that as anyone knows, the Texas Turnaround is specifically designed to accommodate large vehicles. Had he not been speeding ahead trying to beat traffic he would have easily remained in his own lane as the cammer managed to do when he turned from the right.

The driver of the pickup truck may have a reason to be upset, but making such a small problem when he CLEARLY avoided a collision into a hate crime is another. At least in the United States, people can receive up to 10 years in prison. Not sure about Canada though. Put anyone behind a steering wheel and their true colors come out.

In a road rage incident, you wouldn't get any such _credit,_ regardless. Secondly, it's a hate crime because the assailant identifies the victim by race when assaulting him.

Exactly! One of those cases of yes you had the right of way but was it safe for you to go? If not, then wait for the dum dum truck to turn then safely go. Don't put yourself in harms way if it can be avoided.

Good video! Reminder to those who submit clips, a state is very helpful to people who are watching from somewhere other than where you are. Not all towns are familiar to everyone and we'd love to know where the videos are taken.

#2, with the 4 wheeler making a right, and the truck turning left.
Not text overlay is incorrect that the right turning car has a green light: the video clearly shows a YIELD sign. Further more, the semi-truck is much further into its turn. Finally, all questions of liability aside, the semi-truck clearly out weighs the cammer's vehicle.
Based on these, the cammer did correctly by braking and avoiding the collision

The yield sign is for the right-most lane (or left-most for the semi). It doesn't mean you have to yield the entire road.

0:22 Like I said on Dashcam Lessons’ video, both of you had yield signs. The truck was there first, hence it was their turn. You didn’t even touch your brakes. Also, while not as much as they do when making right turns, semis do need to make a big radius when turning left.

All Truck Fleet- Both were in the wrong. Both had yield signs, both failed to yield. The light means nothing on a designated right turn and a designated U-turn. The yield signs are primary.

Clip 0:20 - Even though the DC has the right of way, that truck would have crushed the car and kept on going without a second thought. Better to use the brakes rather than be in pain or dead. The DC should have sent the video to the registered company's manager/owner as a means of enforcing the driver to perform better (however unlikely that action would be).

Also, you had a yield sign regardless of green light
You conveniently left out the fact that a left-turner must yield in every situation, save a green arrow; and the fact that said left-turner had a Yield sign, as well, which indicates that no such green arrow is present. Citation below:
_To turn left at an intersection or into an alley or private road or driveway, an operator shall yield the right-of-way to a vehicle that is approaching from the opposite direction and that is in the intersection or in such proximity to the intersection as to be an immediate hazard._
I believe "lawfully available" just means that you don't drive on the wrong side of the road. Both parts C and D say to stay in the left most lane.
(c) On a street or roadway designated for two-way traffic, the operator turning left shall, to the extent practicable, turn in the portion of the intersection to the left of the center of the intersection.
(d) To turn left, an operator who is approaching an intersection having a roadway designated for one-way traffic and for which signs are posted from a roadway designated for one-way traffic and for which signs are posted shall make the turn as closely as practicable to the left-hand curb or edge of the roadway.
That road was one-way and they both had yield signs and they got there at the same time. That being said, the semi could be expected to take more than one lane, so he should have yielded.
The semi didn't need more than one lane to make that turn since it's specifically designed to be made by all vehicles. He's just a douche bag of a driver and needs to hand over his license.

Commercial had no green light, he had a yield sign. The green light was for the vehicles going straight.
