This is video number # 1053 in the series that is all about bad drivers.Here you can learn how to /how not to drive and behave in traffic. original commentary and/or storyline at the beginning or at the end of the clips throughout the compilation.Please, read each clip text commentary on the video screen. We tried to give you additional information about so you can better understand what did driver do wrong.
Here you can learn about consequences of bad driving/driving fails so you can educate yourself and be a better driver.
I edit the raw footage (I need a couple of days for every video I make),I add the location of the incident, I add arrows that follow cars to make the situation easier to be seen. I zoom in and out so everyone can see the action and many other things.

0:13 - You sat at the light for 5 seconds after it turned green, and then threw an unnecessary fit with your horn after they passed you. You also were never close to losing control. Stop acting like a baby.
4:21 - When I'm a guest at someone's house, I usually don't park in their driveway.

: 13 The horn from the guy behind is quite obvious! He was simply waiting for the light to get greener 4: 21 BINGO my driveway is a magnet for my wife's (annoying) friends who all feel entitled to park in my driveway. I back in, so there is little chance for me to accidentally hit one of her buddies, but there would be some extra friction if I ever ended up hitting one of them considering they are not welcome to park in my driveway in the first place 4: 44 The cammer is ALWAYS in the right, or don't you watch many of these compilations??
markiv completely at fault for that interaction, im 100% sure he was on his phone, not paying attention and relying on the car next to him to give him visual queues that the light was green for atleast 4 seconds already. completely deluded cammer, even to have the balls to upload and claim otherwise xD

When someone says that in a situation like this, that's how you can tell they are just a bad driver in general.

I can feel for the cammer with the 2 trucks oncoming, But at the same time (his words) as far as blocking the plaza entrance, there is no "keep clear" signage or road markings... so no there is nothing wrong with that.

@@jason5897 Unfortunately, as has been seen numerous times on these channels, that common courtesy quite often leads to accidents due to the number of people who just: "I turn now! Good luck everybody else!".
5:10. He didn’t cross over two lanes, He changed lanes. You passed on the right and dove into that lane just as fast as he did. That was equally poor driving on both your parts. You then proceeded to whip around another car and tailgate him. That makes you the problem now.
I suggest you rewatch that first part of the clip again m8!

To be fair to him, he does acknowledge that he's one of the Dangerous Drivers of California, so basically it does what it says on the tin.
@@chloeholmes4641 I watched it a few times. The truck didnt swing over two lanes it just moved over one lane. I dont believe the car had his blinker on either (no blinker noise and no reflections off other cars). Both are clearly at fault.

People who sit at Green lights especially the lead car, are obviously the problem

By stopping at a green light and also he was pacing the car in the right lane so no one could drive on the road normally.

5:43 - The "Twin Cities Dashcam" situation almost happened to me. Remember "Snowmageddon" in the eastern US? I was out in my Mountaineer as soon as the snow stopped to try to pick up some aides to bring in to the nursing home where I worked at the time (had spent the night, then a couple of hours shoveling a path out of the parking lot with a couple of other staff). I'm on I-495, which at that time was just a wiiiide flat snow surface, cruising along around 35mph, and this idiot in a red pickup appears in my rear-view mirror, closes the distance, and tailgates me so closely that I couldn't see his front bumper for a couple of miles... all on a wide-open road where we are the ONLY vehicles. Eventually he got bored being stupid and fishtailed his way past me into the distance. So sorry he didn't spin out into the snowbanks on either side of the road.!
:13 Traffic light was green for 6 seconds before you moved, when it was perfectly clear for you to go. Nobody was in the intersection. Clearly you are not paying attention and the person honking behind you is paying attention. They passed you illegally, you honked (fine), but continued to honk after they got in front of you. You made the situation worse by continuing to honk at someone who was already aggravated by your inattentiveness, when YOU were the reason they got to the point that they got to (even though what they did was not right either, but YOU were the catalyst). Next time, pay more attention to traffic lights, so you don't sit there for 6 seconds (probably on your damn phone, which WAY too many people do), and things like this will be less likely to happen. Also, just honk once when they do something wrong and move on, because they likely continued to behave that way because you continued to honk when it was not necessary.

#2 is there any recourse for you sitting at a green light for that long? I'm guessing that wasn't the first light you sat there, probably looking at your phone. I don't agree with what he did, but I cannot stand people who can't take any accountability for their sh!t.

We have no idea why he didn't go immediately -- the camera doesn't show it, so any reasons we find are supposition. It's equally possible that they were rubbernecking, or there was a car coming from the cross street that didn't look like it was going to stop, or the cammer was being overly cautious after having been previously T-boned in a previous dashcam video -- perhaps you've seen one or two of those on YT. Maybe once or thrice after this clip ended.
I did notice that the car next to the cammer similarly didn't move when the light turned, so maybe something else was going on off camera.
All that said, the horn blasts at the second red light were completely unnecessary. The guy who passed the cammer in the turn lane had already demonstrated their impatience and attitude and emotional state, so why antagonize them? Let them go on their merry way, and be glad they didn't lose control in that slushy turn lane.

Why does it seem that there are tons of people driving who have no clue that there are mirrors in strategic places around the car that can be looked into so you can see whether the road is clear or not.

1:20 Why do those pedestrians think cars can stop on a dime in snow??????? Wait at the side of the road, for drivers behind to see them and slow down. Cammer was too close to stop fast enough -- luckily he managed to, but that was sheer luck! He wasn't going fast.
This is such a shame. You have to be a real coward to take an opponent out this way. Once I heard Trump talk about his desire to eliminate his opponents, I knew I wasn't interested in him running anything at all. Cowards shouldn't have that kind of power.

Sounds like multiple sound frequency type horns. I've seen a few videos demonstrating them. I think PIAA makes them. 330 Hz, 400 Hz, 500 Hz, and 600 Hz horns.
@@MarkMeadows90 Yup- 2 PIAA and 2 Fiamm horns (high and low tones). The cold weather makes them sound a little funky. Much better than the OEM meep-meep horns.

I had a guy years ago on bristow rd heading towards Gainesville try to pass me on the snowy road as he thought I was going to slow then as he tried to pass his suburban started fishtailing so he backed off and never passed me again and I was in 4wd in my Silverado lol
I hope you've learned by now that 4wheel drive cannot be trusted much more than the 2wheel drive vehicles. Doesn't mean much on ICE. Yes, 4wheel drive is awesome most of the time you use it, but when it comes to ice, even traction control can fail and has.
@@dog3y3 usually if it’s icy I won’t drive to work because I live 40 miles from work and have lots of hills.i drive a Jetta everyday because I can’t afford to drive my truck and even I won’t drive my Jetta in icy conditions lol

At 1:00, you might have done better on the brakes, but really the other driver is bang to rights for this one. Just 'cos he's blaming you, doesn't mean you ARE at fault; and you dashcam is pretty conclusive...

APXwingman Those people blocking your left turn... they don't have to give you right of way. You have none at that point. They could be courteous, possibly, and do something nice but they are in no way obligated to make space for you. AND on top of that, most police and DOT personnel will tell you that it's better if they don't. TOO many accidents happen when people cross crowded, stopped lanes. YOU could always drive ahead, find a place to U-Turn and come back which is probably a lot safer. Consider that.
0:52 - there's doubt? The cammer is NOT at fault in any way. In an uncontrolled intersection (without lights or stop signs), turning traffic must ALWAYS yield to forward traffic. Pedestrians always have right of way! Except they dont here! Theyre jaywalking on a main road, where there isnt a crosswalk, and in low visibility which is why the cammer honked. You want to get killed? Do exactly what the pedestrians did in that clip and youll be a hood ornament in no time.

There is a quicker *il-legal* recourse, however: Tap his @$$, not enough to damage his body-clip ( *or yours* ) but enough to shake him, then back off a bit, forcing him to storm out of his ride towards you in a fit of pique...then turn him into a speed bump. Like I said, not fully legal, but quicker recourse.

That is the real reason for these dash-cams, after all: To provide proof of the actual chain of events in legal proceedings, which otherwise were not possible to properly determine and adjudicate before.
