    Hi, at 4:55 you set some Mesh Deformer. By default there's none, at least at UE 5.3. To show deformers, one would need in drop down context menu click on gear right of search textbox, and then ensure that "Show Plugin Content" is selected. Then DG_Flesh_Deformer would appear in the list.

      @@Sumitgupta-se6hf Not likely, as of now 3 years after chaos flesh was in beta there is still no way to limit it to a specific vertex group.

    There is a more efficient way of doing this now by running a lot of the calculations on the gpu using niagara. The method shown in this video will drop your frame rate by a significant amount

    Is there a way to make the deformation permanent. Like increase the stiffness so there is no rebound after deformation. Almost to simulate metal deformation.

    Ei yo, I found the deformer graph just now lol, maybe it's because I'm using UE 5.3 so that they didn't show up in that DG window. It shows that the only person who can solve the pb is myself.

    where did you find the car BP because Im using CitySampleVehicles and it does not have wheel skeletal mesh to add into the FleshAsset - Animation

    Hi ,when I attach the wheels in blueprint along with the flesh ,only one wheel deforms.The remaining three wheels aren't deforming.Is there any solution?

      I had the same problem.
      I think there is a better way, but in my case, I simply created BP separately.

    Have you tried using world-space materials to deform the high-poly mesh? I'm working on a scanned tire that is very heavy. I'm concerned that the surface binding might cause my Unreal to crash lmao

      We have not yet tested the simulation of the ultra-high polygon model.
      We will try it when we have a chance!

    hello The8 Inc. I'm stuck in 5:05. When I played simulate one. It wasn't attached to each other between skeletalmesh and flesh. The Flesh is going down to floor world location. How to fix that ? Thank you and waiting your reply

      I haven't been able to test it yet with UE5.3, but it looks like there is a slight difference in the settings. I will try it later.

      the flesh simulates, the skeletal mesh plays an animation, the flesh sticks to a selected bone on the animation, but the skeletal mesh does not deform/simulate like the flesh does

    I do have some questions though. I tried following along but I can't find the Primary Solver you applied to your flesh asset at 2:05 did you acquire it somehow? did you make it yourself?
    that's about it, I've been searching for a video about UE5's Chaos Flesh for a long time after I found this video th-cam.com/video/fJCgh3PYJ9M/w-d-xo.html showing one of the boards from the 5.2 Live stream. I can't wait to see what you do with this and to see what you do next!

    Thank you so much for this, this video is gold.
    Are you aware of any bug in 5.3? I can't seem to get the raycasts from the Skeletal mesh to generate collisions, even when I set the console variables I get 0 and no collisions. Everything else works perfectly, I'm bafled.
    Anyway, can't thank you enough, this video is beyond helpful!

    This is how people change world, greate work, I tried to make same after presentation of 5.2 but not all content was released in first iterations of 5.2. Now I have some issue after Generate Surface Bidings my skeletal mesh don't simulate chaos flesh. After few restarts of project and rebuild flesh asset nothing changet, it work's random :)

      This time it was a Skeletalmesh test, but I think it is possible.I will test it next time.

    I don't know why, but soft tires it's so satisfying to watch on UE hahah... Just for curiosity, you have a skeleton vehicle set with the wheels only and you attached the tire BP to each one of those skeleton bones, same bones controlling the wheels? I think it would be super awesome to show this missing piece 🙏

    Thanks fo great tutorial, it is only too small too small fonts, very hard to read with youtube compression, scale up whole UI a little bit and som graph would make a huge difference here.

    How would I put the tires on a vehicle?

      In my case, I copied LR tire assets back and forth and attached them to the wheel joints on the body.
      I tried to combine them into one BP, but ChaoFlesh didn't work even if I put more than one.I think the BP setting I did was wrong, but I didn't know the cause.

      Your question is, for example, is it possible to control the grip of F1Tire?Or is it possible to simulate C1-C5?

      @@The8-tokyo yea, simulate the deformation and gripping , slip angle, tires shape change to "square" when high speed. when cornering the rubber stretched to the left and right like a bubble gum.

    How you managed to combine Chaos Flesh tire with car wheels?, I have some problems with collisons but I don't understand what to change.

      @@The8-tokyo Did that :), alredy tested, want to make tire deform more in real shape with lateral distortion like real tires, I think materials world position offset will help me to do that :D
