I nearly gave up. because this is the only option to save/load a 3rd party plugins with the correct pitch bend range right? I saw this option, activated it and thought "yeah right, 12 semitones is what i need". To set it to 2, how the f should i know that? Why nobody is talking about that, or even explains why tho. damn. I just started my music in 2000 i think, and there wasnt any tutorials, blogs..just anything, and my native language is russian so it was a bit hard for starting in program with another language, I spent alot of time for learning the music production until I released my first track, from 2000 to 2006. If there were lessons in those years, I would have learned music much faster)
Added on steam! Rocket League is my jam! I've got an issue with *recording* when it comes to using pitch bend and mod wheel. I use these effects over played notes, it plays fine, but somehow those effects end up affecting other parts of the track and I still haven't figured out how to keep those separated and tied to ONLY the patterns I play them for. It'd be great to hear back when you can!

To make a "default" open a new project, do teh settings and save it as a Template. You can use that template for all new projects and they will be set.

helpful video! I did what you said and it worked, but now when I use the pitch bend, it doesn't go back to the middle. it switches over to a new pitch.
the pitch wheel hardware will spring back to center on the wheel. FL doesn't reset the value directly. Is it possible you linked to the MOD wheel by mistake?

How do I make Harmor's pitch bend to work inside another daw (say like Studio One Ableton or Cubase). Inside FL I know you need to activate some midi routing but I don't have FL but I like Harmor or other Image Line synths and I have this problem with other than Harmor, the pitch bend wheel has no effect. so i have a novation launch key mk2 49. The pitch range keeps getting stuck. how can i fix the pitch wheel being stuck at one spot? it gets stuck in fl studio where it says pitch range in the channel settings of the plug in. in this case nexus 3. when i click reset it resets but soon as i touch the wheel on the keyboard it gets stock again around 44 cents. i cant figure out if its fl studio or the midi keyboard
Please help. My pitch is moving by itself even when I'm not touching the pitch bend on my midi. And in the hint panel it shows tick (✅) mark but it's yellow colour. I don't know what is wrong with my midi. I followed this process but still same. Is it software issue or my pitch bend broke down? If it's software issue please help me, but if my midi broke down then please show me how to turn of the pitch bent of midi. My midi is "Nektar impact Gx 49" and my software is fl studio 21. Please help
My pitch bend wheel works, but it only does very small pitch bends by default. I have to manually adjust the pitch number in each plugin window to 12 for it to read the full value.
Awesome video. Can you tell why it has to be 2? I tried experimenting, 2 seems the best. But shouldnt't 12 make more sense? That is has higher range, means brighter "pitch bend"? How come a lower number means a greater pitch bend? thx!

i have a problem, i managed to map the pitch wheel, (im using a NI m32 midi, and i have touch strips btw) but i cant map my mod strip, i dont have the name in the current project tab like you, i have the omni channel pitch, but the other 2 are called "omni unknown event" and it wont map my mod wheel.

Yes. Make the changes on a new project and save that as a template. Now when you make a new project, use that template and the links will be inplace.

I’m getting a check mark when I move my pitch bend on fl studio but my midi board is not responding to the pitch bend.
check means the midi is getting to FL. make sure the plugin supports pitch bend too. double check the settings I show in the vid.

might be a hardware issue. I had a MIDI keyboard that ocassionally did not center back to 0 pitch.

My pitch wheel works when I play it live, but when I record using the pitch wheel, the playback is allll messed up sounding. Got Any tips? Thanks
right click on the record button and make sure "automation" is set to also record.

Some midi keyboards might have an internal setting you need to adjust. check your equipment manual and see if it has any pitch settings you can access
I got all working, but the mod wheel didn't do anything. The indicator is already indicate that it's working, but I don't know what mod wheel do.
