My 16 year old had to be put down a month ago, I just feel lucky that I had all that time with him now and hope I made his life better than it was before (he was abandoned and rejected by 3 other homes before we took him- he was manic when we got him but I never saw him even growl at a human).

Federico Chiesa is not coming to the toon. We'll sign some players this window, but most fans will know little to nothing about them, Eddie and the board don't seem to go for 'established' names. He's a Chelsea signing if there was ever one.
Honestly he was awful at the Euro's and hasn't been great for Juventus for ages, also has a bad injury record. I'd rather we didn't sign him.

I think if we signed Chiesa or Neto, we'd probably have to sign Elanga as well as back-up, since we can't rely on them to stay fit.

Neto is actual class mate, he has just been insanely injury prone, but 11 g/a in 20 games is good and if he stays fit he is a world beater
Chiesa as a back up isn't a bad shout but he can't be the main guy, the intensity in PL and his injuries, not sure. Mbeumo i'd like, he'd be very versatile too. Sorry about your cat, devastated when my dog died, they are family. 💔🥰

Regarding signings I think we should look at getting Antonio Silva (young and upcoming Center back who is also a right footed to replace Schar!) we need a right wing then we should look at Francisco conceição and cutting in with his left foot! Regarding strikers I’m really not sure 😅
Saw the Fabrizio Romano post on Chiesa and for 20 mil euros seems a steal but he's been deployed more at LW for Juventus so it's quite interesting to see/hear how Mitchell & Howe would view it.

He is a right footed player, but so is Murphy. Think he fits both positions, but the way teams play today it's preferable to have a left footed guy on the RW and vice versa.

he would want top wages though, probably around the 200k a week mark, and he's nowhere near worth those wages and hasn't been since his knee injury. Even at £20m don't think he would be a good signing. Had a terrible euros too.

Mbuemo has very good numbers. He likes to run at defenders, and he's versatile and could be played across the front.

Mbeumo would be a great signing. Somehow not as fashionable as Neto or Chiesa but out of all 3 I'm certain he would be the best signing.

New right winger will be young and expensive 20-22 years range, like Isak talent, Chiesza old Italian Pizza now 😂, new owners have always spent big on the new, young and generational talent. Its long term plan so that means someone signing 5 year contract,, also expect NUFC owners to stay clear of injury prone players aka Chieza. Mbeumbo makes pperfect sense, hes a handful, not sure why but Greenwood looks good two feet, ok has some history but we harboured a jail bird in the past so he gets my vote.
