Your posts about blood pressure led me to testing mine, and learning I have high blood pressure! I'm now working on treating it. Out here saving lives 🙏🏻 appreciate you
I love this! Thank you for preaching about this so much. I used to have borderline/high blood pressure - and I always dismissed it as “white coat syndrome.” 😬 I started paying closer attention to my health, consistently exercising, lost 130 pounds (!!🎉). Now my BP is excellent! (From 134/82 to 112/66!)
As an ER nurse I’ve told several patients to watch this video! People over look how important maintaining a healthy blood pressure can be. Thank you for all the great content you put out there!
I feel like the blood pressure machines used to be in every store! I just realized I haven’t seen one in years. I wonder why this is. Thank you for this awareness ❤❤
I didn’t think I needed BP meds due to a healthy lifestyle, even though my readings were slightly elevated. A friend, in better shape than me, said “why wouldn’t you start meds? It may ease the damage to your system before it’s too late.” Thinking of it in that way helped me, and I’m currently on low-dose meds. It takes some effort to continue fine tuning the nutrition piece. But, like you, Jordan, friends have died due to unknown heart issues potentially caused by high BP. This is a great reminder!
2024 is the year I am prioritizing my health. (2023 was dragging myself across the finish line on my MBA!) Great timing to get my jump started on where to focus!
Been around 10% BF for years. Bodybuilder physique without being crazy peeled. Got hit with a BP scare in 2021 even though I looked extremely healthy on the outside. You got me to start checking it consistently - added cardio in (being a stubborn lifter this was a big one) + daily steps, made a huge difference in my numbers. If you’re an American man, please for the love of God check your BP.
I just had my first high blood pressure read. I felt a little frustrated because my doctors don’t seem to be taking it very seriously. So I scheduled another appointment to have my blood pressure red and it was high again. I often feel like I have to advocate for myself and honestly, if I hadn’t watched your video, I don’t know that I would have been pushing and advocating as hard as I have. So now I am tracking on my own at home and it has been consistently high. If I let them just blow me off, who knows what could happen so I am thanking you for the awareness. If not for it then I don’t know that I would have had the information and tools to know HOW to advocate for myself. I have two young kids too. Thank you ❤.
Thanks a lot. I watch/follow a lot of fitness experts but I have noticed that generally all of them are young and no one has any health issues as such. I am 54 years old and have a family history of blood pressure. I am taking medication for the last 10 years or so. The dosage overtime has not increased luckily. I try to follow a healthy lifestyle to the best of my ability. Today I am happy that I follow you and hope to learn more from you overtime.
This could not have come at a better time for me! Was told a few weeks ago my blood pressure is high. Since then I’ve lowered my calories, upped my cardio, switched to decaf, lowered my sodium, and lost 6.5lbs.
Appreciate you so much. Just went to the doc on Monday and have been playing off my hypertension for years and through two pregnancies. Time to bite the bullet and start meds. This video is incredibly helpful and dare I say comforting. Thank you for helping me to feel like I am not a terrible person for having high blood pressure. Going to go take a look at the inner circle and I think it’s also time to read your book again. Thank you Jordan.
you are a natual speaker and you explained this very complicated topic amazingly ! thank you

I’m a home health nurse and I wish more paid attention to their blood pressure when younger. Thanks so much for making this video for your fans (including me)!
I never thought I’d have high blood pressure in my 20s. I workout 5 days a week, eat relatively healthy, and am not insanely overweight. Yet here we are 😭
Thank you Jordan. I bought one about a year and a half ago when I got covid and spent two weeks in the hospital and when I got home I checked it all the time and then slowly forgot all about it. Thank you for the reminder.
My dad’s working on lowering his blood pressure. At 69 he and I workout 4 days a week, he walks when he golfs, and eats pretty well. I’m going to share this with him and see if he can pick out a few more things he can do to keep it low.
Great video. I have white coat syndrome. When ever I go to the Dr. it was reading 150/90. My Dr had me wear a blood pressure monitor and was happy to see that my blood pressure is actually normal. She has me checking my blood pressure once a week.
My dad recently passed away due to cancer. However throughout his life he always struggled with high blood pressure including having bypasses and other surgeries. It's crazy how everything you say is spot on and me implementing those how's was a shocking change in my blood pressure. My doctor said I'm at risk of high blood pressure because of deformation on my heart which is obviously genetically bound but I'd never think to go and check myself out until late my 20's. Thanks for all your work dude, you kept motivating me for a long long time now whether I had better and worse times in my life and I learned a lot from you 🙏🏻
I think it is very helpful to see someone that is otherwise healthy still needing to take medication to manage their blood pressure. I feel it takes some of the stigma out of it for those that are trying to be healthy but maybe feel like they are somehow failing because they have to resort to taking the meds. Thank you.
High and elevated blood pressure run in my family. I’ve struggled with it being elevated and people have always made me feel unhealthy for it but simultaneously tell me I shouldn’t be on meds because I’m too young. Thank you for raising awareness on such an important subject!
It runs in my family too. In my 20s I would be high. I do have white coat and the automatic BP machines will bruise my arm causing me to also have high BP, I request for them to do it manually. Anyways all of my parents and grandparents have it my mom is the healthiest and most active out of all of us and had to have a triple by pass. It’s not always nutrition and exercise. Just like we all have cells that can turn into cancer but not everyone has cancer.
Thank you for sharing and caring. I’ve been seeing my blood pressure high every time I go to the doctor. The doctor told me to work out and change my diet and then see him back in 3 months. I need to join your work out group again 😅 Thank you again for all your help
I'm 63. On meds to lower my bp. Have been for a few years. I tried changing diet and exercising. All that helped for years but eventually I had to get on meds. My bp issue is hereditary. Parents and siblings have high bp. I'm still living a healthy lifestyle which includes meds for bp.
Great job! I’m in healthcare and this is very comprehensive. Love the approach. And, I appreciate including there is no shame in taking medication to manage the problem.
Thank you! I'm in my early 30s and suspected I might have high blood pressure for years. I get a high reading each time I'm in a doctor's office but have always been brushed off when I ask. After losing 30 lbs and getting more active over the last few years I figured I was fine. But after watching your video I borrowed a monitor and tested. 138/82. I'll monitor for a couple weeks and if it's still high I'll be making an appointment.
Thank you for being so honest in this video. I respond much better to someone “saying it like it is.” My family struggles with weight, heart issues, and staying hydrated - thank you for calling these out!
I love all your little insights to everything. Like taking medicine and how we say no we don’t want to yet we take supplements or drink this/that. Your help me see things the way I should. You are someone I enjoy watching & listening to.
Because of you, I check my blood pressure about once a week (once every two if I’m dumb lol), and even though it’s “normal”, I know that if anything starts changing, I’ll have a lot of data to take to my healthcare professionals to support my concerns. As a 33 year old woman, it never seemed like something I should worry about, but now I believe that gifting a blood pressure monitor as a housewarming gift is like one of the best things I can do for others, haha. Thanks for changing the world and lives, Jordan!!!
I bought the same machine after listened to your podcast, cant wait to finish this video after work. Currently mine is high-130-140/90 .. my mom/family has high BP so Im working really hard to lower it. Finally this week Im in the 120’s, I know still high but better than 130-140’s..
The timing of this is perfect. My mum has very high blood pressure but isn’t concerned as she’s outwardly “fine”. I will be sharing more info about the silent killer and your tips. Thank you so much
Wow! I've been on blood pressure meds for YEARS. I never understood until now how important it is to keep it in check. And, you're right. I don't know anyone who is overweight that has lived as long as people who are within a certain range. I drink way to much and that is going to change now. I want to be here for my family. Great video. Thanks.
Once again Jordan, your timing is impeccable!! We are struggling with my husband’s bp and your advice, along with our doctors guidance, is invaluable!! Please stay well, and keep the awesome info coming!!!
Amazing timing on your email & this video. I was at the doc yesterday and found out my BP was high and it’s been consistently trending high for the last few months. Ordering a BP monitor today to start tracking at home. Thank you for taking time to create and share this content!
Ive always been told to take my blood pressure first thing in the morning. I didn't know that blood pressure can be higher when you first wake up. Thank you for that information. ❤
I'm going to the doctor tomorrow for anxiety and I'm going to talk to him about my BP. Thank you for this video and helping me not be afraid to discuss BP with my doctor, or to possibly go on BP medication, if needed.
Recently diagnosed with high Bp and man it’s been hiiiiggghhh and had no idea. Thank you for the info and sharing this. Bestie had bypass 4 weeks ago and had no symptoms- it’s silent and you must take action. I appreciate learning from you. You always have a wealth of knowledge that is practical for us who know nothing about it. Thank you again!!
I got my blood pressure checked based on your advice from a previous podcast. So glad I did! I definitely had high blood pressure and now I’m on the path to getting it down. Thanks for these videos!
Thank you for this video. I’ve been dealing with high blood pressure and am having a hard time getting it under control. I have severe arthritis in my knees and have a hard time moving. I’ve gained a lot of weight and I know that’s a huge part of it. Your video reminded me how important all these things are. Thanks.
Really hits home. My dad had absolutely great genetics but ultimately passed away in large part due to his weight. Both of his parents lived to be over 80 and 90. He lived quite long considering his medical conditions but his weight caused a lot of issues and I can't help but think how things would be different if he took better care of himself. I'm in the "overweight but my vitals are fine situation" my doctor even said to me that long term it will cause issues one way or another. And well, I've seen it first hand with my family. I put on a bunch of weight with my pregnancies and it's been a beast to try to get off but this is the reminder I needed ❤
Thank you so much for this. I listened to your podcast on this and it was great I tried to convince my husband but he didn’t believe me cause he’s a visual person. Today we sat down together and watched the whole video. I think it’s hit home and I’m so grateful 🙌🏾
I was beginning to think I was a hopeless case until your very last point -- genetics. I follow every guideline and still have to take medications for my HBP. My doctor tries to encourage me by reminding me of all the other ailments my healthy lifestyle is preventing. 🤷🏿♀️ Love your videos!
My bp has consistently creeped down from high to normal since I've found you. Thank you, thank you for your non bs approach to health. I feel like I'm a kid again!
I have been taking medicine for my elevated blood pressure for about a year. Definitely has helped! Now I'm trying to get some other things under control! Thanks for the important content!
What a great reminder to check your blood pressure on your own. Can be at home or in a store, but doesn’t always have to be at the doctors office. Some people only go once a year to the doctor and could completely be missing having hypertension.
Love that you’re highlighting this! I’m a dental hygienist and I take BP w each appt. I educate my patients and rec MD consult if BO is consistently high. I also rec they take every morning in the comfort of their own home and take that log to their MD! It IS a silent killer!! Such an important metric! Thank you for talking about this!
My husband has HBP and I had him listen to your podcast on it and he made some changes to his fitness routine and diet. His doc wanted to add another med and with these changes he doesn’t need it 😊.
Thanks for this, man. Heart disease and such in my family. Had a slightly high reading for the first time recently, trying to get it under control. This helped me. Love you brother!
My husband has high blood pressure-- he's CONVINCED he doesn't need to give up his two beers at night to "help him sleep" because he works a job that has him waking up at 2:45 in the morning 4 days a week. Thankfully he's gone to the doctor and does take a BP Med (faithfully!) but the limited sleep and alcohol nightly are the two big sticking points with him. Will be showing him this video and working to get more fiber into both our diets.
Thanks for this video. I also am on Losartan 50mg daily and felt bad about that, because I exercise and take care of myself. Like you my family hx of high bp seems to be playing a role.I was feeling like a failure about being on meds, but I'm feeling better about it because of this video.
Blood pressure is how I found your channel in the first place. Thank you for all you do! Does Inner Circle also have information on blood pressure? Sometimes I feel like it’s too late at 56.
Great video. If you start consistently doing the items you listed to reduce blood pressure, how long should you give it to actually see your BP be consistently lower?
Some months ago, as I was listening to your podcast, it dawned on me that I was getting/ being white coated. I ordered a BP machine and discovered that my BP was a little elevated constantly. I exercise consistently but I could lose about 50 lbs. I did end up going to my doctor and was told that because I workout and eat okay, they’re sure that losing weight would help my BP - down 10 lbs so far. Thank you for your podcast, and this video. I consume massive amounts of coffee(the whole 12 cup pot of drip a day). And my sleep is shit. Will have to get that under control, too.
Yes! I loved this video. I’ve had high blood pressure since about age 30 (runs in my family) & I’ve always thought it was more so attributed to my weight. It helped so much to hear that you still take meds & it’s ok & you’re clearly healthy & active. I’m still working on my weightloss journey but this helped me to not feel guilty or bad for needing medication to help my high blood pressure. Great info!!
I have high blood pressure every time I go to the doctor, my dr was concerned because of my history of high blood pressure. I was so scared! My doctor made me log my blood pressure at home and thank god it was normal every time I checked it at home 🙏🏻
I have high blood pressure. I take medication for it. As I have incorporated exercising in my routine, and started monitoring it at home, I have gotten it down into an amazing range every day - better than even before I ever had high BP and started taking meds. But when I go to the doctor? It's ALWAYS up. Whitecoat Syndrome is real and it is frustrating. Great video, Jordan!!
Thank you. I am asking my husband to show me how to use his BP machine and will commit to checking it once per week. In addition I will try to make small changes in the areas you so eloquently suggested.
This is actually something I'd never even bother with since, it's typically low at my doctor. Now that I know how easy it is to test, why not just take the extra precaution? Thank you Jordan!
I also have a family history of hypertension so I had to start medication, but it's now in a healthy range. Thank you for sharing your story. I learned a few things today.
Also, BP monitors vary widely in their accuracy, so read the reviews and try to buy one you can return if the readings are way off. Take it to your Dr to compare it.
Your posts about blood pressure led me to testing mine, and learning I have high blood pressure! I'm now working on treating it. Out here saving lives 🙏🏻 appreciate you

See a cardiologist. They will take you more seriously that a general practitioner.
Do you have a video or podcast that on high cholesterol ?

This is so enlightening - thank you for once again breaking important information down like this. I will be borrowing my Moms BP monitor! Thank you
I really appreciate your videos even if I don’t have high BP. Knowledge is power. 🙏🏽
Thank you for this video! Just starting this journey to get my blood pressure under control. It has slowly creeped up over the years:(
The timing of this is perfect. My mum has very high blood pressure but isn’t concerned as she’s outwardly “fine”. I will be sharing more info about the silent killer and your tips. Thank you so much
love your content Jordan

Ive always been told to take my blood pressure first thing in the morning. I didn't know that blood pressure can be higher when you first wake up. Thank you for that information. ❤
Just ordered an at-home BP monitor. Thank you for this video; you are saving lives in so many ways!!
Went in for a routine check up and my blood pressure was high. Thanks for the information and the straight to the point delivery!
I'm going to the doctor tomorrow for anxiety and I'm going to talk to him about my BP. Thank you for this video and helping me not be afraid to discuss BP with my doctor, or to possibly go on BP medication, if needed.
Thank you. It’s definitely hard to find trusting solutions and you are one I go to often for answers
Recently diagnosed with high Bp and man it’s been hiiiiggghhh and had no idea. Thank you for the info and sharing this. Bestie had bypass 4 weeks ago and had no symptoms- it’s silent and you must take action. I appreciate learning from you. Thank you so much for sharing this! It is so important and shortens so many lives before their time.
Thanks Jordan. This is really informative. I have a friend who just started taking BP medication. I’ll pass this on.
Such great content on something that is absolutely essential for all of us!
My dental hygienist is the one who discovered my high blood pressure! Keep up the good work!

Thanks for this video. I also am on Losartan 50mg daily and felt bad about that, because I exercise and take care of myself. Like you my family hx of high bp seems to be playing a role.I was feeling like a failure about being on meds, but I'm feeling better about it because of this video.
So so important to check your blood pressure. Thank you for this great information
Blood pressure is how I found your channel in the first place. Thank you for all you do! Does Inner Circle also have information on blood pressure? Sometimes I feel like it’s too late at 56.
Definitely going to start checking mine regularly!
This was a great video, I have high BP and still learned from it
Thank you for this very informative video. The how’s are great. I struggle with my nutrition and this is more ammo to help me succeed.
Thanks for the reminder to get my BP checked and take the necessary steps to address it accordingly!!!
I’m so glad the algorithm gods introduced me to your channel. So much good/quality info without the BS. I’m currently working on lowering my BP.
Thank you for covering this subject. As always you do a great job with your content. I’m really enjoying being a part of the Inner Circle.
Such an important message for everyone to hear.
Such an important message! Thank you for sharing!
Great video. If you start consistently doing the items you listed to reduce blood pressure, how long should you give it to actually see your BP be consistently lower?
Thank you so much for this! Such important and life saving information.
This was so insightful. Thank you so much!
This couldn't have come at a better time. Thank you for all this invaluable information.
Thank you. Much appreciated. Jane
Hubs is working to get his BP under control. This info is super timely and helpful!
Thank you for this info. I feel young and healthy but CANNOT have something happen to me unexpectedly. My kids need me!!
This is a Great reminder! Thank you
I have high blood pressure every time I go to the doctor, my dr was concerned because of my history of high blood pressure.
This is super timely as I had my pressure checked at a Dr appointment and she poo poo'd it. Going to check now to see if it is okay
Thank you. I am asking my husband to show me how to use his BP machine and will commit to checking it once per week. In addition I will try to make small changes in the areas you so eloquently suggested.
Buying an at home BP monitor. Thank you, Jordan!
Needed this motivation to get back on track and pull my at home monitor out of the closet. Definitely sharing this with loved ones too!
Super useful! was told I have high blood pressure but not what to do about it! I’m going to go find your podcast too
Appreciate the honesty and transparency in your videos. Very insightful and beneficial.
This is actually something I'd never even bother with since, it's typically low at my doctor. Now that I know how easy it is to test, why not just take the extra precaution? Thank you Jordan!
Great info brutha! Starting tracking BP cause of you!
Always appreciate the honesty and insight you provide in your videos. Thank you for bringing awareness to the importance of health!
Amazing work Jordan
This is great information! Thank you!
