I found your channel last week & it has changed my life. when I was newly married & pregnant with my first, I got lost in the world of youtube mommy vloggers- the ones with mcmansions who decorate every inch of their 4000 sq ft homes for each holiday. because of them, I legitimately believed my baby wouldn't have a good life unless we had ALL the toys & home decor & a Pinterest worthy playroom. after moving into a 3800 sq ft home and having my second baby in February, I have felt the weight of all our useless purchases sitting heavily on me & stealing my time from my children. since finding you, i've spent everyday decluttering, and it's honestly saving me from what was I think was postpartum depression. I can relate so much to feeling discontent with where we live and if only we could live somewhere else… life would be that much better. It’s a struggle that I have to continuously give to the Lord and remember that he has our family exactly where he wants us for this time, and for us not to waste it, but to be rooted and present where we are. I relate to this so much as well! I have really had to work through why God has kept us where we are despite the many attempts to move somewhere else. I'm working toward contentment, and it is a journey for sure.

Now, we've had our cottage for sale for the past 5 months, 4 sales falling through... and just nothing...during this time, I've been learning to accept without complaining about my circumstances... one of the most eye opening experience!
@@ThisLifeFromScratch Oh wow. Thanks for sharing. Contentment is hard for humans in general. Add in the culture and all the things that we are told we need for happiness, and it can seem like an impossible feat. I've found in my life that if I die to what I think I must have for happiness, contentment follows and sometimes what I want actually happens. I think the Lord just wants to know if we are able to rest in Him and trust that He has the absolute best in mind for us.
I am really enjoying your videos. When my children were born back in 1993-1997 I found simple living. At the age of 34, in 2004 I started facilitating Voluntary Simplicity courses at libraries, churches, volunteer centers & yoga studios. I am so glad that I raised my children this way. They are now grown and have a pretty realistic grasp on what it means to live simply. I’m 52 now and still live this way, it’s allowed me so much freedom in my life. It is always a joy to find other like-minded people. It can feel so counterculture to live this way. We are so fortunate to have the Internet to be able to connect with others when society as a whole doesn’t seem to be living simply.
Just pulled my kids out of public school and one of the things that I worry about the most is how they will survive and thrive with the rest of the world when they become old enough to branch out on their own. So for example - if one of my kids wants to go college but the college they want to go to expects them to know algebra because public high schools require students to take algebra... but I homeschool and I didn't teach them algebra... that will be a big struggle for them, right? And then I would feel like it's my fault that I didn't prepare them. How do you reconcile yourself with those kinds of thoughts? Do you address them? Do you change your routines to try to fix that situation, or do you just go on faith that it will all work out in the end? I don't know what to think or do but I'm really curious how ither homeschooling parents address these kinds of issues.
@@Nicole-vh8xf two of our unschooled daughters went to college graduating suma cum laude and now have jobs that are flexible and interesting. Our third daughter simply segued into being a librarian at our local library- also flexible and interesting! We found that homeschooling grew People who really know that their life is Theirs. It's something you take ahold of and live, that you can make choices for yourself about where you want to be and what you want to do, how you want to contribute, and who you want to build family with. They know that the timetables for being a "success" and the judgements of what it means to thrive are just human made ideas and differ all across the globe. We found that the expectation of where students are academically when they enter college is pretty basic at most colleges. The freshman year is often a catch-up year for many, so courses will be available for whatever is needed. The best part was that our college-daughters weren't burned out on formal education, it was all interesting and new, and they had enthusiasm to learn in that setting. They weren't jaded and the profs loved helping them because their interest was genuine. Also, people can attend college at any time, and if they need algebra they can learn algebra at any time. Sometimes the motivation for learning a thing isn't present until there is a goal that requires it. Humans are learners, makers, and doers - it's in our DNA and it's the very reason we sometimes have trouble sleeping (lol) because we ruminate, think, figure, trouble-shoot life! That inbred skill is available when it hasn't been squelched by poor educational settings. One thing, though - your children will probably go in their own direction at their own pace, which is beautiful, but will also possibly make You uncomfortable because you and I have the indoctrination of our society imbedded in our psychys! And even if we are brave outside-the-box types, we are nothing compared to these people we raised who got to actually Live being really outside the box! Our daughters attended college all on their own, paying their way with grants and loans and scholarships, at the ages of 21&19, and one went for 5 years instead of pushing for 4 because pushing made the experience really awful. It will all work out fine, but not as some accidental occurrence. It will work out because you'll be doing things all along the way together, introducing them to real life. There is so much time when you homeschool to be actual participants in the real society around you... visiting and volunteering at the library, going to museums, waterfalls, events, delivering meals to seniors, playing in a bell choir, cleaning trash at the park, going to city council meetings..so many things people do in the real world! Best of all, homeschoolers get to spend huge amounts of time on their own, too - daydreaming, building stuff, cooking, baking, sewing, fishing, coloring, drawing, getting enough sleep, reading algebra (!) Whatever interests them! One of our daughters studied herbalism around age 13, another had a pet-sitting business at age 14 (she works at a vets and a private kennel now - after studying Japanese and living there for a year in college) There is time to learn about themselves, what they like, who they are, and where they want to go. So it does all work out because you and your children are engaged in real life, real living. Keep getting connected to homeschoolers and borrow the confidence until one day you are sharing your own confidence with the next homeschoolers coming along!💖
toootally understand the desire to move all the time, that’s definitely something I’m always working through. we live in a suburban town but I’m always dreaming of the future living somewhere more “unique” or “interesting.” 😅 I’ve found each time I move though that every town is just another place with people, buildings, houses, restaurants, etc., and soon it becomes familiar and you desire somewhere new. for me I think it’s that “newness” feeling I want to last. our environment can totally influence our behavior and mood but the lasting change comes from within for sure. still working on this! just nice to hear someone else acknowledge!!
Since I have slowed down I can feel my anxiety and stress melting away. I am more patient and calm. I finally have time to get down on the floor and play with my baby or 3 year old. Before they would ask me all day to play and I kept saying later but then bed time would come. I felt like a defeated parent. I love my kids and the whole reason I started homeschooling my 5 and 8 year olds and being a stay at home mom was so we could have more time as a family. I lost my mom at 21 and i remember her working 2 jobs and going to school, I would give anything to go back and just enjoy the moments we did have together. Time is precious ✨️
You are so right. I’ve recently decluttered my entire house. Especially so products I use like shampoo and cleaning products. Have gone organic for it all. I gave all my stockpile of other stuff to the local food bank. I had a chat with friends and family and just explained that I’ve gone organic to help my daughter’s skin and health. Have stopped using candles etc. people have been so kind and have asked what would be nice for Christmas. We’re getting organic bath bombs and lovely body oils etc. Everyone’s been so kind. I’ve also explained that we are very blessed and don’t want for anything really. ❤
I definitely feel like it's so easy to compare ourselves and want what might look and sound better. It's a lot harder to be content with what we have or where we live. Last March I was constantly looking at Zillow to see what houses were around because I really wanted to be in a more rural area with a bigger yard for my kids to be able to run around in as they grew up. One day as I was looking at houses I felt convicted to stop looking at what i felt would be "better" and look at all the positives of where I was and actually enjoy being in a more urban neighborhood. We were within walking distance to a library, a park, and a coffee shop. I had a little raised garden that my daughter loved helping me with. I am so thankful I stopped looking at what I felt was better because I was able to actually enjoy what would turn out to be the last year I would live there. At the end of September we found out we would be moving to a new state by December for my husband's job. Now we live in a more rural area and have our bigger yard but there's other challenges. Our library in our new location is closed from weather damage for the foreseeable future and now we live 45 minutes from the closest Amazon return location. 🤦♀️ No matter where you live there's going to be things you love and don't like, but it's up to you to decide which you want to focus on. I would rather enjoy where God has me because you don't know when that might change. ❤
How you transitioned to plant based eating, also your favourite recipes, stocking your freezer. Also what your wardrobe was like before your 10 item wardrobe, shoes etc. Also did you donate it, sell etc. thanks love your channel and new podcast.
Would you give a current house tour/yard/setting tour? I totally assumed you lived in this quite dreamy neighborhood 🤪. Love knowing we live in similar settings (except I'm in the North East) and yet you still pursue slow living. I totally felt like I need to move to the country in order to slow down. I want to learn to slow down right where I am at.
I’m in my 60s and have always been a minimalist. I definitely get anxious with clutter and don’t like dusting. Fortunately my husband was also on board. However, I’m warning those of you with young kids the clutter comes when your kids become teenagers and get their first job and money to spend on stuff… maybe it’s a rebound effect.
I moved several times in 2 years and a friend told me "No matter where you go... there YOU are." Now I have lived happily in one place many years on two acres with a well and a small house. I keep planting pine trees and it feels like i live in a forest but I'm on the edge of town.
As a fellow millennial I felt totally heard by the moving thing. We moved from Colorado which I loved so so much, back to my hometown and I can never come up with a good reason why other then it’s expensive to live out there and my family is here. I hope I can look with as much grace as you, to find the purpose. My heart misses the mountains and my friends. I keep telling myself I can go visit someday.
I get the whole never feeling right where you live. I moved away from my home state when I was 11 only to spend the next 13 years dreaming of how perfect my life would be when I moved back. We'll, we've lived here for 4 years now and I haven't been happy. It's such a strange thing. But I'm excited for the next move and it gives me a feeling of hope and what will be best for our daughter and us as a family. LOVE your channel!
Go Madi!! I've been homeschooling my kids for the past 12 years and I've learnt so much myself! I have so much fun with them!! I'm so excited for you guys!! Congratulations on this journey, sweet girl! We've been living minimal for so many years due to my husband's job, traveling alot but in the past couple of years we had to settle and we started to accumulate stuff... I'm ready to let go of things again! Keep encouraging and inspiring us!
Not narcissistic, we all feel the same way about you!! Sometimes it's hard in the world finding common ground with people. I know there are obvious cons to social media, but finding community is definitely a pro! Thanks for sharing your life with us
Great minimalist gifts are experiences. Cinema/museum tickets etc. Vouchers for spas etc. Even just a gift card for the local supermarket are great non consumerism presents.
I can't believe you're going to create your own podcast! I thought I'd suggest this as I love your youtube channel. I'm so happy with this news, Madisun! :) I wish you all the best.
I’m so glad you started this channel! It has been so amazing and helpful on my journey. I don’t have a lot of like minded people and you have been such a blessing
I just love your philosophy on simple living, especially with young children! Yes, please make some videos on gardening. I would definitely watch and appreciate those. :)
I'm not sure how I stumbled across your channel, a few of your videos popped up on my feed. Which I have been watching enough to be a new subscriber 💕. Your personality, tone of voice is very relaxing. I have been on a serious declutter journey for 2 months. Decluttering in a way that I'm listing everything on Poshmark which I'm enjoying this as passive income. I admittedly was a shopaholic but as I get older 'less is definitely more'. My parents live with me and my mom is definitely a pack rat, I'm secretly getting rid of old books, clothes etc. 😅 it's so freeing and I feel lighter day by day. So thank you for all the content you're putting out.
Thanks! I continue to watch and rewatch your videos over the month of discovering you and other minimal, slow living moms and absorb the energy and information. I struggle still with comparing and figuring out what things to take to be my vision of good life from all your good talks and advice and definitely know my life has been better with yall in it. Im coming off my medications and doing more therapy to heal deeper so i can learn to be happy and stop surviving. Do you have any advice on mom life and how to help with development more? My toddler is pretty behind in all areas even with therapies and im trying to cut back on tv and store trips and stimulating toys but its hard habits to break. I stuggle to stay present. Also advice for connecting with husbands more, i have no sex drive and him upset about all my decluttering and negative thinking doesnt help lol ❤
I hope you don't mind me commenting on each area...if I annoy you, just let me know. haha. 1. I love gardening. I had one for a few years at my parents' house when I asked for a small plot of their huge backyard. However, when COVID hit, we hadn't been there for eight months and they took the whole thing down and I worked so hard on building it when I did. I hope next year I can rebuild it again (can't this year since I am 5 months pregnant right now. We rent a two family house apt. and our landlord has a garden here but won't let us have one too (and the yard is really tiny so I understand). He does let us have a compost bin in the back yard though. 2. Love how you had to learn how to fill the void you had with the right things such as with God. Beautiful. I totally have been there and felt similar. Jesus having pretty much nothing and no place to rest his head truly was part of the inspiration for me. 3. I love how you suggested to the person to set aside a timer to declutter a little per day. My mom often complains she has no time to declutter (she's retired), so I literally went with her to her bathroom, went through the area under her sink, decluttered and asked what she needed most, used, or maybe didn't need at all. It took us 5-8 minutes. I said, "That's all it takes. A few minutes a day." She is a bit of a hoarder and cluttered person, but was so grateful to me. 4. You are so right. . .people who get to know you will know what your kids want or not. My parents/in-laws/siblings were upset for a couple years with gifting issues, but now they say, "Do you need clothes? Do you want money?" to my kids. . or something like that. I've been making my own cleaning supplies for over a decade and usually vinegar and water with essential oils and baking soda are all I use. Saved me so much money. 5. I homeschooled for a long long time until financial issues hit us after COVID lockdown and I got a job a year and a half ago (that I am leaving soon). My oldest was entering high school at that time which we always talked about possibly homeschooling until then. I totally used so much variety in homeschooling, was in 3 co-ops, and made up my own curriculum for certain subjects. I can't wait to homeschool again in a few years. Love seeing what new resources are like. 6. Move where your family feels is best together. :) Which state are you in now? 7. We are all early birds here too. Love that you take walks and allow independent play and outdoor play. I did that for a long time and now my kids seem glued to the computer like my husband has always been (though my younger son is very productive and does graphic design constantly), so it is a hard thing to learn to balance because I am an outdoors person. We find ways to do it though. 8. I love how you said there is a saver and a spender. I am the saver and my husband is the spender. It is nice that you went to counseling together to work things out. I was a minimalist for several years alone. . maybe 6 or 7 years before my husband got on board. That's a huge story in itself. It wasn't easy. Do you still have your podcast? I am sorry I wrote a book here. . . .
I’m so happy I’ve found your channel 😄 thank you! We are a homeschooling family with 2 young children. In a village just outside of a town in the UK. I relate and agree with the way you are choosing to homeschool also :-) Just starting on our minimalist journey (coming to the end of a 2 year project - complete renovation / reconfiguration and large extension of a large house) and realising what is truly important and how less stuff really does create less stress 🙌🏼!! I imagine downsizing will be on the cards at some point. Thanks again! Looking forward to the podcast x
I am completely off of all social medial and haven't had internet or email access on my phone for over a month now. Life changing! Thank you so much for the inspiration!
You are not alone. I have always loved the outdoors and my alone time. When I was young I always felt like a outsider even when I was part of "it"? I more than ever have had a strong desire to travel and rv or buy land just to be open. Not limited in my thinking. I am recently saved and I believe that drives me even more to want to live a more peaceful life. To trust in him for my needs and wants. Also this year I will be homeschooling our four children. I am very grateful to have found your channel.
You go, girl! I wish I could be your best friend. You seem so chill. Keep up the good work! I’m becoming a minimalist, and I’ve never felt so happy and content. It’s so hard to go against the natural urges to buy or move or whatever just to fill a void. Well said.
I’ve been a new subscriber and have loved watching your videos one by one. Then just got really excited you have a podcast 🤩 crazy you made this video one month ago and went from just under 10,000 to 36,000 subscribers!
Beginner videos about gardening, looking after soil and about house plants (eg which are safe to have around kids) would be most welcome! Most things I grow die before ready. I really look forward to the podcast and the book!
We lived in Hawaii for 12 years. I was single and engaged when I moved there. We had our two kids there and left when they were 6 and 9. I am 50 now, so I know I’m of a different generation. But, I noticed that most military families were extremely unsettled or even miserable the first year they were there, but by the time their rotation came up at 2.5 to 3 years, they were so sad to leave. The hardest part for me was being so far from family while raising my kids. Now, my husband and daughter really want to move back, and I think I would love it. Just the cost to live there is crazy. My dream is to by an RV and travel for a year, but I find myself wanting to escape my current life and start fresh. I could be content if I knew I was never going to leave here (Wisconsin), but my husband is tired of the winters, so I never feel settled. I did homeschool for 15 years and would not trade that for anything. Loved the hundreds of hours of reading to them! Now, to deciliter 30 years of stuff, lol.
That is so exciting about the new podcast-I will definitely listen! Also, I would love to see a video about gardening like you mentioned. I’m hoping to get some raised beds ready so that next spring I am all set to start a little garden!
Love this video, I can relate to the feeling of wanting to move or feeling that life could be better somewhere else…it really is something in our culture. I feel like I don’t have this figured out either, and maybe it’ll always be a struggle in my mind. But I try to remember advice I found from Rhonda Hetzel (an Australian blogger and author of some great books on simple living) to “bloom where you are planted” while not giving up on longer term dreams. I love that you aim to be present and not live too far into the future. Can’t wait for the podcast xox
Madison! Yes to the gardening video! I’m so excited about your podcast. Just the other day I was thinking I wished you had one because I relate to you soooo much! I love topics like minimalism and homeschooling( daughter will be 4 soon), slow living and gardening (looking to start) I can’t wait to meet your husband officially soon. Love from the East Coast
I’ve been decluttering like crazy since I found your videos a few days ago (mother in law told me about you). I don’t know if you’ve seen Harbor+Sprout unit study’s, but it seems like something you’d love!
Hey! Just found your channel and love it! Can you do a video about involving kids in the house? I have a 14 month old and struggle to slow down and let him help. Would love to hear your strategies!
I am so thankful I found your channel. You are what I have been needing to spur me on to declutter and reprioritize my values. I love all your very real heart-to-heart talks. Btw you look very wholesome and I love the natural and minimalist Maddie more than the Maddie who lived and looked like everyone else. Please keep up the good work. I love watching and learning from you. Thanks for being so open and forthright.
SO excited about you starting a podcast!! My husband always tells me to start listening to podcasts, but I haven't found any I've liked, but I know I will be hanging on to your every word 🤣
Have you looked at The Good and The Beautiful? It's a good one that aligns with things I think you'd like whenever the kids feel like they want to do something like that. We do child led learning as well. Thank you for answering my question about gardening!
Wow I haven’t found another TH-camr who believes in so much of the same stuff as me; minimalism, healthy eating, unschooling, a fellow Christian…..so many things in common!! I just found your channel and it’s by far my favorite channel to watch and find some peace. The one thing I would suggest is to stock up your pantry. Our country will be facing a food shortage in the near future. Also, as crazy as it sounds we are headed into a depression. If you can please take a moment and check out Appalachian Homestead with Patara on TH-cam. I believe God is using her to reach as many people as possible to warn them of what is coming. I’m so sorry for the long post, again I LOOOVE your channel! Keep up the great work!!
just found your channel and feel so much peace watching your videos and truly inspired to live a different way especially as a new mom! THANK YOU! idk if you’ve heard of the book “the power of place” but i think you’d really like it based on what you shared about leaving hawaii! i feel that same way with wanting to move and this book addresses that and talks about the power of just being wherever you are.
Variety and living life with many experiences, life is a journey I think those reasons could explain why you like to move. It helps you to stay unattached which I think is beautiful. You are living in the moment and enjoying every new adventure ♥️
I just found your channel and I love your content! I would love to see more recipes, cooking, and self-care (skin/hair care routine videos! I am trying to stray away from toxic products and go more natural :)
I just discovered your TH-cam channel today, I had felt like you are a believer but I didn’t know till now! Thank you for being such a blessing. Can’t wait to binge-watch all your videos tomorrow when the baby takes his nap 😁😁
Thank you 🙏 for your inspiring videos. They help keep me on track to a lighter life filled with what’s truly important. 🕊💖🦢You have a beautiful soul. A couple videos ago I had shared with you about my decluttering journey. You asked me to keep you updated on what is going on. I’m happy to say that since the beginning of the year I’ve let go of almost 900 things, and I’m still going through more stuff, as I’m about to move across the country and want to only take what I can fit in my vehicle. Last year I got rid of about 600 things. Before that I was slowly downscaling my life for about 10 years. Just when I think that there’s nothing else that I’m willing to part with I suddenly get inspired to let more go. It’s truly a journey. 🌈 Emotions arise as we sort through our lives in the form of “stuff”, especially if it was inherited. I’ve shed a lot of tears this past year as my mom passed away March of 2021, and my Dad has just moved into assisted living. My sisters and I have inherited the bulk of their things (although I took the least amount). Anyhow I discovered that there’s very little of their things that I truly want moving forward in my life. After my sisters and I split things up last month, all the furniture, knickknacks, vases, dishes, etc., I turned around and gave most of it back to my sisters if they wanted them, or gave them to Habitat for Humanity. What I ended up keeping is only what I truly loved and brought value to my life, and it fits in one small box. I love my parents and don’t need their things as a reminder of them, as I carry them both in my heart. I feel so liberated from the heaviness of “things”. Love and my ever deepening connection to the Divine Source-God is far more important to me. 💖
What was that children’s book you mentioned in another video that was a favorite of your children? I looked on your amazon storefront but I don’t think you listed it.
Man, I felt like the location/where to live dissatisfaction was just us....is that a feature of our whole generation? You're the first I've heard to talk about it so forthrightly.
What topics would you want to hear more about on my NEW PODCAST?
Will you please pray for me

They are now grown and have a pretty realistic grasp on what it means to live simply. I’m 52 now and still live this way, it’s allowed me so much freedom in my life.
It is always a joy to find other like-minded people. It can feel so counterculture to live this way. We are so fortunate to have the Internet to be able to connect with others when society as a whole doesn’t seem to be living simply.
Thank you for watching Courtney!
Our three daughters unschooled. They are now 31, 29, and 26 and successfully themselves. It's a beautiful way to raise people.
I love that 👏🏻
I also unschool and I wanted to ask if you had any helpful info you could share? ☺️
@@Offgridalaskanhomemakersame if you have found any yet!! My baby is 2 so just getting started!!
toootally understand the desire to move all the time, that’s definitely something I’m always working through. we live in a suburban town but I’m always dreaming of the future living somewhere more “unique” or “interesting.” 😅 I’ve found each time I move though that every town is just another place with people, buildings, houses, restaurants, etc., and soon it becomes familiar and you desire somewhere new. for me I think it’s that “newness” feeling I want to last. our environment can totally influence our behavior and mood but the lasting change comes from within for sure. still working on this! just nice to hear someone else acknowledge!!
So good! Thanks Amy! ❤️
thank you for speaking on your motivation to honor God. in this environment it takes courage to speak his name, and yes you are salt and light!
Thank you for 10,000 SUBSCRIBERS! What topics would you love to hear more about on my NEW podcast?
So so so cool! I would love to hear about faith, minimalism, simplicity, slow living, gardening, etc.✨
@@Mjys-nw6lx Yay! Can't wait to talk more about all that stuff. ✨🌿
Yes! We will definitely share that. ❤️ Thanks for watching!
This is so true! I’m currently walking through this with mine.
Glad to find an example & even a guidance to a more beautiful world with Family Focus at the core❣️
I moved several times in 2 years and a friend told me "No matter where you go... there YOU are." Now I have lived happily in one place many years on two acres with a well and a small house. I keep planting pine trees and it feels like i live in a forest but I'm on the edge of town.
Sounds amazing ❤️
Thank you for watching Aubrey! ❤️
Yes please to the full gardening vid! Would love to start growing our own food but feels overwhelming and expensive to start :/
Thank you for the continual support!!! ✨ Love how much you love homeschooling and all the same stuff I do!
@@MadisunGray you got my heart!!
Not narcissistic, we all feel the same way about you!! Sometimes it's hard in the world finding common ground with people. I know there are obvious cons to social media, but finding community is definitely a pro! Thanks for sharing your life with us
You are giving God glory by making these videos! ❤
I think we are kindred spirits! Really enjoying your videos and your approach to living. Totally agree.
Can you do a video about what you give your kids for holidays? Xmas and Easter, etc. thanks!
Great minimalist gifts are experiences. Cinema/museum tickets etc. Vouchers for spas etc. Even just a gift card for the local supermarket are great non consumerism presents.
Thanks for watching ❤️
I can't believe you're going to create your own podcast! I thought I'd suggest this as I love your youtube channel. I'm so happy with this news, Madisun! :) I wish you all the best.
Thanks so much Mariana!
I’m so glad you started this channel! It has been so amazing and helpful on my journey. I don’t have a lot of like minded people and you have been such a blessing
Thanks for coming along Melissa! So glad we found each other ❤️
I just love your philosophy on simple living, especially with young children!
So glad you are enjoying it ❤️
Thank you! I did a podcast episode with my husband might help ❤️❤️ th-cam.com/video/FH67_rdOeAk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=v-Lm7S_k5Ve9Pivf
I am sorry I wrote a book here. . . .
Wow thanks for watching all my videos. So glad you are enjoying ❤️
I’m so happy I’ve found your channel 😄 thank you! We are a homeschooling family with 2 young children. In a village just outside of a town in the UK. I relate and agree with the way you are choosing to homeschool also :-)
Just starting on our minimalist journey (coming to the end of a 2 year project - complete renovation / reconfiguration and large extension of a large house) and realising what is truly important and how less stuff really does create less stress 🙌🏼!! I imagine downsizing will be on the cards at some point. Thanks again! Looking forward to the podcast x
Thank you Milly!
I am completely off of all social medial and haven't had internet or email access on my phone for over a month now. Life changing! Thank you so much for the inspiration!

Yaaassss girl ! Thank you for being a blessing to your family and to the world .
Gardening is God
I have finally let go of multiples, & what if items thanks to you & I've found so much space in my small studio apt thx to you.
Wonderful!
Grateful you are here!
I've been waiting for you to start a podcast, so excited!!
Me too! Thanks!
You go, girl! I wish I could be your best friend. You seem so chill. Keep up the good work! I’m becoming a minimalist, and I’ve never felt so happy and content. It’s so hard to go against the natural urges to buy or move or whatever just to fill a void. Well said.
Thank you so much for watching! ❤️
I’ve been a new subscriber and have loved watching your videos one by one. Then just got really excited you have a podcast 🤩 crazy you made this video one month ago and went from just under 10,000 to 36,000 subscribers!
I’m so grateful for this community ❤️. Thank you for your support!
Beginner videos about gardening, looking after soil and about house plants (eg which are safe to have around kids) would be most welcome! Most things I grow die before ready. I really look forward to the podcast and the book!
Thank you!
Would love to hear about the products you use. Laundry detergent , household, kid products etc.
I choose carefully what I watch. Knowing you are a woman of faith made me decide to subscribe your channel. Thank you for the inspiration
So glad you are here Ena ❤️

Thank you Simone! ❤️
Madison! Yes to the gardening video! I’m so excited about your podcast. Just the other day I was thinking I wished you had one because I relate to you soooo much! Dude got to get the podcast. Yeah yeah yeah that’s what I’m thinkin.
Emotions arise as we sort through our lives in the form of “stuff”, especially if it was inherited.
What an amazing story! Thank you for sharing, I know other people will get value from this too. I'm proud of you! ✨
@@MadisunGray Aww 🥰 thank you. ❤️ I hope that my journey does bring inspiration.
