I have your videos on REPEAT. Your family lifestyle is my goal and I just want to THANK YOU for these videos! ❤ I am a mom of 2 (soon 3) and I work full time. It’s so hard on my kids and after this baby comes I’m staying at home and Reclaiming their childhood - thanks to you!!! I happened upon your videos and they have turned my life upside down. Thank you for just living authentically and pushing others to do the same to find true joy!
Yesss...sometimes I feel like I need to drink if I'm partying but ever since having my baby..or getting pegnant...going back to alcohol only made me sleepy and dehydrated and felt crappy the next day. And I always felt the mom mode wouldn't let me loosen up...at least not with alcohol
You inspire me! I am an emotional shopper and have really been working on it. Whenever I watch your videos it reminds me I don’t need to buy more things to make myself feel happy❤
Would love to hear more about your reasons for not diffusing oils. I used to a long time ago but stopped when I read about how some can affect pets, I didn’t want to risk anything with our aging dog. Thanks for a great video! I love your simple views on life! So refreshing!
A lot of these things I no longer own either and at first I thought I’d miss them but I really don’t. It’s so freeing not having to keep track of all the things.
I’m so with you on the book front - I’m almost 2 years into not buying books and I’m still reading tonnes between the library, being lent books by friends and our local little free library
As an older mom with grown children, Maddie is right 100%! Stop excessive spending! I don’t buy paper towels.. cut up an old bath towel into little squares, buy a 6 pack of cloth napkins and stop buying napkins, no special beverages.. add lemon or cucumber to water, buy thrift clothing!.. much better quality!😊
You are so inspiring! We are back on a path to buy less and declutter EVERYTHING! I love that your messages help us better our lives/the earth as well. Thank you!
I needed to hear this today. I have a goal this year to reduce my consumption by only owning ONE of certain items. I love your calm and candid delivery ❤
I really love the balance you bring. I used to try changing too many things at once, and it was overwhelming. Now I still buy paper plates for the days I feel overwhelmed, but we don't own a tv. I let my son watch a little too much screen time, but we spend more time outside as a family just enjoying life. I still buy cheap clothes in my budget, but I wash my face with only honey. It's good to hear you talk about where you are and where you were without any judgement. I feel like I can just grow and learn and live and improve without any guilt or shame 😊
Thanks Madi for being such an inspiration!! The pressure to conform to society can be overwhelming sometimes. It’s so refreshing to watch you living differently & thriving. I also love, love, love when you share resources. I’m always picking up tips from you. Curious about your stance on essential oils. What resources do you have on this?
Hey Hannah! Thanks so much! I went deep reading about how essential oils are super estrogenic when you diffuse them cold/ inhale them and have long exposure - for hours at a time. I struggled with low progesterone for a while and that’s one of the things that I changed. I still use essential oils like as perfume or as an acute treatment on something like a fungal issue from time to time.
I think a ten items wardrobe is so sensible. I hate wearing bras but have to wear one because I’m old and they don’t stay in place without one. I have my hair cut once a year . No one in the Uk bothers about a tan . I have 3,sheet sets . Well done for growing your own food . I don’t snack in between meals thats 8:29 about as healthy as I get . Don’t drink coffee. I don’t drink can’t meditate very good when drunk. Kids don’t need stuff they need love and attention and good food. Well done you for being extremely generous smart loving parents and utubers
I found your channel last week while sick in bed and I’ve been binge watching your videos. It was through watching other minimalist / capsule closet videos that you came up. Your videos are so refreshing and as a mum with two young kids as well I’ve already taken a lot from your videos in just a few days. I’m going to find that bullet journaling video next. Thank you for making these videos! They have really been feeding my soul. God bless you.
It can get worse. I'm trying to phase out noisy battery powered toys for my 2 year old. I allowed it at first, but I noticed he loses interest easily, and he likes to mimic adults. Montessori types of toys that mimic real life work the best, but people will still give electronic toys. The pressure to give gifts on birthdays and holidays results in giving electronic or even cheapy toys that break easily.
Sorry my smart phone is acting dumb You are mature enough to keep things managable for your kids and yourself. Your kids aren't losing out, you and your husband are giving your kids the best things that you can.Lot's of love and attention, a clean beautiful peaceful home, healthy food lovingly prepared, a homeschool education and you. God Bless you and your family.Keep the videos coming. Deb C. from Maine
I am totally on the same page as you!! Unfortunately my husband and kids are not as much. 😅 doing my best to keep a healthy balance. It feels so good. Really appreciate you. Thank you! ❤️🙏🏻☀️
On point with everyone of these (other than the extra car). I just started my minimalism journey but for a decade now have been focused on living a healthy and debt free lifestyle. Until this video I didn’t realize just how much minimalism ties in with both of those passions. Thrive girl thrive 🙌🏽 Side note, I love your passion for your husband and how much respect you show him, I stand with you on this and hope more of your viewers will be inspired to do the same.
Such an inspiring list! A few things we don’t own that most people prob do….no hairdryers, curling irons of any sort, ironing board and the biggest one is DRAMA….I refuse to own it, share it, even entertain the thought of it!!! It’s pretty much my fav thing I gave up!!!! Thanks again for being so open!!!
I have never seen anyone who doesn’t buy the same things I don’t buy (for the most part). My list is so similar to yours (of course a couple things differ)! I don’t realize it until i go to someone else’s house, though, and get sensory overload by all the things.
Same. I’ve been able to get off all medications except the thyroid one, but I’m pretty sure I can, there’s just a lot of different opinion on doing it.
I just wanted to share that I was able to get off my thyroid medication (that I was on for 20 years) using Medical Medium, Anthony William protocols. Basically eating a plant based diet, avoiding trouble maker foods (like gluten, dairy, eggs, etc.) and taking some healing herbs and supplements.
Great list! I taught my children early on that when we go on vacations, we are not buying souvenirs… we are making our memories the treasure. They never even asked after a while!
I started making my own cleaning solution - it’s just a 2:1 ratio of white vinegar & water in a glass spray bottle + 20 drops essential oil - vinegar naturally disinfects 👌🏼
I've done this but with a few squirts of dish soap. I've heard vinegar is bad for multiple surfaces, but I haven't noticed anything negative in these last few years of using.
vinegar is an acid. It will etch stone and wear protective sealants over time. better off using a couple of drops of dishwashing liquid - cleans EVERYTHING safely @@NormieNeko
Thanks Maddie! You have just been my absolute favorite TH-camr for minimalism! I rarely comment on videos but you’ve helped me so much on my own personal minimalist journey! My hubby teases me that I should get a cut with how much I’ve promoted your channel to friend and family! Thank you again and God bless you and your family!
I just found you, so I’m playing catch up with your videos but how did you get over not having tv in the background? I’m the same way, I like it because I feel less “alone” - it’s definitely my comfort! But I also want to get away from that so that my daughters don’t have that same dependency.
Madisun, You and I are soul sisters! So many of the things you don’t buy are things that I don’t feel like I need. I have been trying to find a good skincare routine for me but haven’t. I don’t have any problems with my skin but am wanting something non toxic. I have used coconut oil and really like it so I think I will transition to using that. I am wanting to give up coffee but haven’t gotten there yet. I love peppermint tea! I appreciate your simplistic way of living! I am quite a bit older than you and I admire you for learning that less is more at such a young age. 😊
Dear Ms Madisun, It is SO FRESH and encouraging to hear a young adult (it is a compliment!!!) talking about being responsible, sustainable and intentional!! Please, let me explain; nowadays, we see and hear so many wonderful adults talking about choosing the live a simple life and choosing to take action (or not) about this and that but...they are older and to hear what a younger person has to say and think, it a real joy; it is charming, adorable and motivating. Thank you so much for doing it! helene (mother of 4) :)
I know I’m seeing this late- love this list. The other thing I don’t buy anymore (or rarely, if needed), are razors (air dry on a rack then can resharpen them brushing opposite direction of shaving, on a towel or pair of jeans).
Yes! I do not use any soaps at all anymore-for anything at all. I usually wash my hair in only hot water , I use water With some rye flower in it if my hair gets very dirty (maybe twice a year.
I love your videos! I am in very much on the same page with mom wine culture. Alcohol in general... I too occasionally drink and I always regret it so I am at a point where I am about done. I do not buy shaving cream for myself because I don't shave anymore but my husband has it for his face. You're so inspiring and I am thinking of trying to eliminate all face wash! I stopped buying additional moisturizers and I am finishing the few baby ones I bought for my face. The littles rarely need lotion! I also stopped diffusing essential oils but have been bummed to get rid of my expensive diffuser. Maybe this is my sign!
Oh this is great!! I was interested by the ones you mentioned that “triggered” me. Allowed me to do some soul searching to think on what I do love buying/don’t anymore. I’ve always done the one sheet thing and love it. Glad I’m not alone. I also stopped with shaving cream long ago, soap works great. Love these ideas! Gonna think on this a bit more and figure out what we don’t need to buy any more ❤
How did you stop taking medication from your hypothyroidism? I’m on a large dose of levothyroxine, and it’s my only medication I can’t figure how to get off of without my levels going wild and feeling awful.
love my essential oil diffuser because it makes the space smell fresh. I mostly enjoy the sound of it at night time as it helps me sleep. Obviously couldn't care less whether other people own one. Love this list and your channel in general!
So question, since you don’t buy the “holiday baskets” and the like, what DO you do for those holidays to make it special? Other traditions? Curious. 😀
Hi Maddie, I am really interested in how you have come off of your thyroid medication. I would love to do the same! I would really appreciate any advice you may have if you wouldn’t mind sharing? I adore your content, I have taken so much away from the beautiful way you share your wisdom. I find you so calming and inspiring and very unique. You have a wonderful thing here. So thank you 🙂 Kate x
Yes! I am not on thyroid medication, but I’m on allergy medication, asthma medication (which I use an essential oil to help manage, but I don’t diffuse them haha), and an adhd medication. So I’d love to hear anyone’s suggestions to get off of those.
I would LOVE to know what oils you use to replace lotions and things or advice on dry skin (if you’ve read somewhere what causes it.) I would love to ditch the lotions, but my skin is soooooo dry my knuckles crack open. 😅
Hi, I really get a lot of value from your content! Thank you. Could you speak to how you discuss minimalism with your kids. I have a 4.5year old, a 2 year old and a baby. At home we are very minimal, but when we are out, the oldest asks for anything and everything she sees. I know she doesn't always really care about the item in particular, she just wants me to buy her SOMETHING. It's hard, I feel like a mean Mum. Things we've tried are... -keeping her out of shops (not always practical - having a wish list ( this feels ingenuine as I don't plan on buying her 99% of what she puts on there) - giving her a shopping fix. for example, when she grows out/wears out an item of clothing, we go out together to choose the replacement. But it doesn't stop her asking for a million other things. I don't really have any friends that are on my level of minimalism. So I'm curious how you talk to your kids about this stuff? Thank you 😊
I consider getting rid of my old straightening iron and embracing my waves since I only straighten it like maybe 4 times a yr ...I do have one of those silky scrunchy hair curling sets
I always think about getting rid of my hair dryer but I do, on occasion occasion, end up needing it. I still have a toxic 1-2x weekly relationship with my straightener haha
Oh my goodness yes about the essential oils! I feel like it was definitely a trend that essential oils would heal everything but honestly they just made things sooo much worse for me , but I totally bought the idea of "just my skin purging" and "they are all natural" when really this is just a marketing thing because most essential oils companies are MLMS!!!
I found your video and love your simple and minimal lifestyle. I have a question. How do you make your husband agree with your minimal style? How do you motivate your husband to declutter things? I need to tidy up with my husband for kitchen stuff, storage, etc. Otherwise, he gets confused and frustrated about where things are. If you could give me advice, I really appreciate it :)
Madi, would love to know more about your Easter traditions. I’m also not one for all the holiday baskets! I used to feel guilty for it but not anymore :)
Love it! I don’t think we have any of those things, except for wireless nursing bras and a diffuser (helps kids breathe when they are sick). I’m surprised just how much you used to own and where your focus was, what a big change for you over the years! Also, I wish branch basics would exist in the UK. It sounds amazing.
Wine culture! I stopped drinking last summer and I’ve never felt better. Not popular but I consider it growing wisely. I loved your list and all 60 me too 🎉
Can you make a video about what you use to clean with? I use white vinegar a lot, for windows/mirrors etc, also to clean the microwave/oven and in the dishwasher instead of rinse aid. But the smell really isnt that great when you spray it around your home 😅
I am curious about what you did for your thyroid? I was recently diagnosed with Hashimoto Hypothyroid and is trying the natural root to resolve my issues. Any tips?
Wine mom culture is so true yeah. Great video. I have also stopped buying all those things, and stopped using shopping and browsing as leisure. Just don’t need all these things in our lives. Simplicity is so freeing x
I love this. You always make me evaluate things and products and such in a great way!! I would love to see a video on your hair and skin care and what you do use! I have extra sensitive skin and looking for ways to stay super minimal with my products and always curious what others use that are natural based products! :) another great video!! I love watching your channel it’s so soothing! ❤
Agreed! I didn’t even want a baby show this time around because I know now you do not need all the baby gadgets. And if you find a need, you can then make a purchase! (Or borrow) it’s worked out so much better for us! 👍🏻
Ziplocks are crazy. I used to work at a coffee shop and we used them for everything and just threw so many away. Years ago I took home 3 of them home instead of throwing them away and I still reuse those same 3 to this day.
I love this! I'm in the middle of slowly getting rid of my possessions (trying to sale). Would you recommend keep going through your stuff to see what you no longer need etc? Honestly I'm ready for a simple life 🤍✨️
Volume is much better. I was commenting when you took the video down yesterday when there were only two comments at the time. . .and it wouldn't let me comment and the video was unavailable, so now I am back to respond. I am soooo similar about what I do/don't buy or use. Each of my family members has one mug (so we can all have cocoa together - which is the only thing other than water I drink at all). There are so many things that many people love and use all the time that you don't need, but while you or I may not need them, maybe they find more value in them. I'd love to hear more about using coconut oil for the babies instead of all the other things. My baby shower is coming up soon and I told everyone how I curated my list very carefully and don't need a lot nor want a lot (especially in my very small home). . .I really hope people don't try to add on to my list. It is probably one of the easiest and smallest lists to buy from too (even if people are like, "What are bamboo diapers??" or "What do you mean you don't like plastic?") I don't have an instapot at all nor physical books as well. I do have a couple streaming subscriptions (and share them with family members like my parents and a sibling and his kids, etc). I really do love my essential oils haha. Been using them since the mid 1990s (I used to burn it with tea lights rather than having a diffuser). LOVE YOUR LIST. This response could totally be so much longer, but I am trying to limit my responses a slight.
Hey Madi, I've recently transitioned to barefoot shoes and want to get some for my 2 year old as well, what kind do you get for your kids? Shoes she can put on herself sound awesome!
I'm going through a hair journey lately. Not sure if it's the products or my hard Tennessee water. I've stopped dying my hair and being 40 years old, it's salt and peppery now. I wanted to ask you, what are you going to do when that time comes for you, bc it's so hard to get over the social stigmas and the way it makes me feel( even tho I try very hard to not care about what others think of me).Love your channel!
I’m 32 with greeting hair 😭 it’s definitly noticeable. I was told once it was hereditary to grey early, but then I was also told it’s a mineral imbalance....🤷♀️ If only I knew what minerals!!
I quit dying my hair. I have always thought grey hair was beautiful! I have some friends and family that freaked when I told them I was going to go grey naturally. Lol! But that just made me more determined to do it! We can’t let society tell us what is beautiful. Plus, really, grey hair doesn’t make anyone look older. Being older makes people look older! 😁 And so what?!? No matter what we do, we will get older. And that’s ok! While wanting to look our best is ok, most of us care way to much about our appearance to others. 🥰
Awesome! You inspired me on an old video to have just one car, our children are out of home now so we don’t need two, plus my husband works from home. Thank you! Would you do a hair video as I need that. I need to get my hair condition back but it’s so fine and over messes with. I have so many greys now but not ready to do the full grey 😅❤
Hi Madisun! How much would you recommend to keep for a potential next child ? I have pared down a lot of my belongings but find it difficult to part with my almost 2 year olds clothes unless they’re worn out. Thank you so much! I enjoyed this video
I’ve been considering wearing bras less or not wearing them at all. I’ve really liked cami tanks recently. You’re killing the game. Keep up the good work. 😃 You’re living your best life!!! I don’t buy dryer sheets, plastic utensils, or Knick knack decorations.
🤍 What type of coconut oil do you use for skin and hair? What I have solidifies in the colder temperatures and so I need to warm it up before use. Is there one that is made specifically for skin and hair to replace lotions? Thank you so much! Love your videos! 🤍
Loved this list! We are also not drinkers. I’m not against it just not our thing. I wish we could go down to one car. My husband travels for work. But when one of us retires we are definitely down sizing. So many things on your list I am there with ya!
Hi Jess, my husband and I are older I’m 72 and he’s 63 so we’re not in the thick of raising kids, that does make a difference, that being said,we’ve been a one car family for about 6 years now and I love it. My husband is semi retired but still works 2 or 3 days a week. I love having the excuse to not go places or do things I really don’t want to do because I don’t have the car. I’m an introvert and love being home. I find plenty to do that I enjoy and I’m understanding more about ‘slow living’, it’s nice.😊
I stopped buying haircoloring products. Because I noticed how awefully my hair is right after the coloring. Plus it never felt like me anymore after the coloring. So I'm done with it. I even cut my hair into a pixie to get rid of most of what is left and now I'm trying to get my hair my natural haircolor, or finding a natural way to get some highlights later on. And I need to stop buying a lot of things but makeup and products that I think I will wear/use but is just not me at all and never will be. No matter how much I would love to be that woman who does use makeup and looks good with it. I use 2.5 makeup products and thats it (eyebrow powder because I have very blond eye brows, nailpolish and occacionally mascara). Same with face cleaners, toners, whatever. I sometimes buy it because I think I will use it, I use it 3 days in a row, forget about it and stop. So its not worth the money. Also; magazines. I have a few subscriptions, but I barely find the time to even read them. They fill up so much space and they end up in the trash. Which is just a very big waste of money. So after the subscriptions end, I want to stop with buying them at all.
I am 67 I use Dickensons original witch hazel 2x a day and occasionally a Shea moisture 1x and eyebrow makeup and a little Burt's Bee's lip color. I stopped coloring my hairbecause of allergies and the color never looked right. I stopped cutting my hair because of covid lockdown and I found I love my long salt and pepper hair. I wished I kept it long years ago I could have saved a lot of money ,my hair being ling gives me lots of style options
Never thought I’d stop buying energy drinks and workout supplements, but here I am! I’ve come a long way since XPloding in my Arizona Mountainside Fitness days.
I no longer buy most everything you mentioned with the exception of like two or 3 and there’s a whole list I have of my own that I don’t buy 😅 I save so much $$ too!
Yes, the Office! And I love your list! As far as coconut oil for your skin- is there a certain brand you recommend? I would love if you did a video about the specific items you would recommend (sorry if you have done this already, and I’ve either not watched it or forgot).
AGREE with you on the wine mom culture. Hard pass. It’s just sad. And I tried the instapot because of a few minimal influencers I followed, and I instantly disliked it. Was not any quicker than just doing things the old fashioned way, and it was more parts to clean and store! Great video ❤
I am so with you on saying no to wine mom culture. Being drunk and bashing your family is not cute. We have made so.many changes over the last 6 years. We still need to do more.
I also have asthma and Hashimitos thyroiditis/ Hypothyroidism. What have you done with your diet to get off the medication! I have tried to learn about it but it's all so much and so confusing unless you are a specialist. I'd love to get off this medication that doesn't seem to help me feel any better.
Can you tell me how you got off of Hypothyroid medication??? I have hypothyroidism and I absolutely hate taking medication I desperately want to stop taking it but was told i could die if I don’t take anything for hypothyroidism
We don't do streaming services either. We only have free antenna tv. We don't have wifi, we only use data on our phones. We don't purchase bioengineered food unless it's unknowingly in the food or the food we purchase from restaurants. If we want to watch a movie, we usually do it on a DVD My friend is big on branch basics. I'll have to look into it.
I despise Wine Mom culture and I’m glad you mentioned it. Soooo toxic.
Same! In other countries it’s just a casual dinner drink but here in the US it’s almost like a personality trait? 🥴
Me too! Glad to see there’s more of *US*.
Saaaame! I have always hated it. Makes me feel like an outcast.
Agreed!!!!❤
Oh I can’t stand it ❤

I don't drink either. It's more fun to be present and wake up feeling great. You're not missing anything so no need to apologize for being awesome! 😊❤

Same here. My husband and I don’t drink either. We like being present, and never have to wake up hungover again lol. It’s very freeing. ❤
I enjoy the odd glass of wine!
This is something that I caught on a previous video as well, Madi...thanks so much for being so encouraging to us moms!🙌💕

As someone with Hashimotos, I couldn’t imagine ditching levothyroxine. how do you manage your hypothyroidism?
I am a 73 year old nana, practicing lawyer. I love your list. Some of it I grew up with. So great you’re finding it. I am learning, too!
Shaving seems to be going fine without shaving creams 🙏 been trying to tell people this for years!
😂
Same. I don't understand why people buy it, lol!
I have to use *something* or I get a razor burn, but I just use conditioner since there’s so much more in the bottle than shampoo.
@@HighLadyoftheSpiteCourt I just use bar soap :)
I use shower gel, soap bar...no need for cream.❤
Girl, stop apologizing!♡ You are doing life in a beautiful way. Its inspiring, and doesn't feel shameful to hear♡
Aw that is such good feedback! Sweet!
What do you use to get cloth napkins clean. Like for grease or whatever.
You are so inspiring! We are back on a path to buy less and declutter EVERYTHING! I love that your messages help us better our lives/the earth as well. Thank you!
Thank you Sara

Such an inspiring list! A few things we don’t own that most people prob do….no hairdryers, curling irons of any sort, ironing board and the biggest one is DRAMA….I refuse to own it, share it, even entertain the thought of it!!! It’s pretty much my fav thing I gave up!!!! Thanks again for being so open!!!
Love!
I have never seen anyone who doesn’t buy the same things I don’t buy (for the most part). My list is so similar to yours (of course a couple things differ)! I don’t realize it until i go to someone else’s house, though, and get sensory overload by all the things.
❤️
You are such a wise lady and an amazing momma 💖💖 thank you for sharing! 😘
This is so sweet. Thank you 😊
I have Hashimotos and would love to hear your journey and how you got off your medication. Also a hair story would be fab too! 🙏
Yes, same here! Glad to know I’m not alone.
I have hashimotos too
Me too!
Great list! I taught my children early on that when we go on vacations, we are not buying souvenirs… we are making our memories the treasure. They never even asked after a while!
I too own linen napkins! And while I still wear bras sometimes, have come to terms with having nothing to put in them. 👊 Love your content! Xxxx
I started making my own cleaning solution - it’s just a 2:1 ratio of white vinegar & water in a glass spray bottle + 20 drops essential oil - vinegar naturally disinfects 👌🏼
🙌🏾
Be careful on hardwood floor if you have them. Use an oil instead
@@lifewithlarsandsusie8315 Thank you.

THANK YOU 😘
I just found you, so I’m playing catch up with your videos but how did you get over not having tv in the background?
Thanks friend 😘
Dear Ms Madisun,
It is SO FRESH and encouraging to hear a young adult (it is a compliment!!!) talking about being responsible, sustainable and intentional!!
Gonna think on this a bit more and figure out what we don’t need to buy any more ❤
I love this video! Thank you for all your content- sending you love and light 🫶🏼
As Dawn (The Minimal Mom) says- this list is descriptive, not prescriptive.
Thanks for sharing, Madi 😊
This was one of your better videos. I appreciate you being more real and vulnerable and it inspired me to want to do another dive into decluttering!
I’m so glad! Thank you 😘
this is great. i love it that you're so confident about the things you / your family / your pet just don't need
❤️
Needed this video!!! Perfect gloomy weather, baking sweet potatoes, playing with the kiddos!❤
Perfect day ❤️
How did you stop taking medication from your hypothyroidism? I’m on a large dose of levothyroxine, and it’s my only medication I can’t figure how to get off of without my levels going wild and feeling awful.
love my essential oil diffuser because it makes the space smell fresh. I mostly enjoy the sound of it at night time as it helps me sleep. Obviously couldn't care less whether other people own one. Love this list and your channel in general!
I love hearing these changes compared to the changes you made in your older video like this. Very inspiring, as always!
So question, since you don’t buy the “holiday baskets” and the like, what DO you do for those holidays to make it special? Other traditions? Curious. 😀
Madisun💖. I wait all week for your video! I am so grateful I found you on youtube… you have helped me more than you will ever know! Thank you 💖🙏
Thank you Dana! So sweet! I am so honored!
Hi Maddie,
I am really interested in how you have come off of your thyroid medication. I would love to do the same! I would really appreciate any advice you may have if you wouldn’t mind sharing?
I adore your content, I have taken so much away from the beautiful way you share your wisdom. I find you so calming and inspiring and very unique. You have a wonderful thing here. So thank you 🙂
Kate x
Such a good idea! I’d love to share about that ❤️
Yes! I am not on thyroid medication, but I’m on allergy medication, asthma medication (which I use an essential oil to help manage, but I don’t diffuse them haha), and an adhd medication. So I’d love to hear anyone’s suggestions to get off of those.
Same for me Kate. I've been on thyroid meds for 10 years, just diagnosed hashimotos.
I would also love to hear about getting off of thyroid medication. I hate taking medications of any kind. tia
I would LOVE to know what oils you use to replace lotions and things or advice on dry skin (if you’ve read somewhere what causes it.) I would love to ditch the lotions, but my skin is soooooo dry my knuckles crack open. 😅
I don’t buy trash bags for regular daily use. My husband bought a box about 8 months ago and I’ll use them occasionally for a specific need.
Thank you 😊
I believe that more is caught, than taught. But honestly sharing with them why we do it is very helpful.
The inspiration you give me girl! Wohoooo!! Thank you!! Love your videos! 🥰
Thank you friend 😘
I got the Quick Cooker from pampered chef (like an instant pot) and I literally NEVER used it. Was so happy to get rid of it 😂
husband bought me an instapot. never used it. looks like a bomb ready to explode.
Madi, would love to know more about your Easter traditions. I’m also not one for all the holiday baskets! I used to feel guilty for it but not anymore :)
Focus on Jesus more than baskets 🙏🏻
I have seizures and sleep problems. I have a watch ($22) synced to monitor the phone to monitor certain health concerns.
Love it! I don’t think we have any of those things, except for wireless nursing bras and a diffuser (helps kids breathe when they are sick). I’m surprised just how much you used to own and where your focus was, what a big change for you over the years! Also, I wish branch basics would exist in the UK. It sounds amazing.
Check out Elm Kind! They’re based in Devon and they are really effective I’ve been enjoying cleaning with them.
Wine culture! I stopped drinking last summer and I’ve never felt better. Not popular but I consider it growing wisely. I loved your list and all 60 me too 🎉
Yes 🙌🏾
You are so right!
Thank you. I have that video on my list ❤️
Thank you so much for making this video, so refreshing, love, love watching your videos.
😘
All kids need on their birthday is to feel special on their birthday.. making the day all about them and surrounding them with people they love
Would love to hear about how you got off thyroid meds! I also have hypothyroidism and I’m on low dose levothyroxine that I would love to get rid of.
TAKING CHARGE OF YOUR FERTILITY YESSSSSSSSSSS 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 I love hearing of others who learn the truth about our cycles
I love this video. Thank you for sharing.
I reuse clean ziplocks and for sandwiches, I use the empty bread bags.
I love this! I'm in the middle of slowly getting rid of my possessions (trying to sale). Would you recommend keep going through your stuff to see what you no longer need etc? Honestly I'm ready for a simple life 🤍✨️
The decluttering never ends, it just gets easier ❤️
It is probably one of the easiest and smallest lists to buy from too (even if people are like, "What are bamboo diapers??" or "What do you mean you don't like plastic?")
I don't have an instapot at all nor physical books as well.
My kids love these from Vivobarefoot: rstyle.me/+dT2w7IfeNPHwuaiXMzs-tg
I'm going through a hair journey lately. Not sure if it's the products or my hard Tennessee water. I've stopped dying my hair and being 40 years old, it's salt and peppery now. I wanted to ask you, what are you going to do when that time comes for you, bc it's so hard to get over the social stigmas and the way it makes me feel( even tho I try very hard to not care about what others think of me).Love your channel!
I think younger ladies with greying hair look enchanting! I’m 36 and I have a lot of white coming in above my ears. I call it God’s hair glitter.
I’m 32 with greeting hair 😭 it’s definitly noticeable. I was told once it was hereditary to grey early, but then I was also told it’s a mineral imbalance....🤷♀️
If only I knew what minerals!!
And so what?!?
No matter what we do, we will get older. And that’s ok!
While wanting to look our best is ok, most of us care way to much about our appearance to others.
🥰
Awesome! You inspired me on an old video to have just one car, our children are out of home now so we don’t need two, plus my husband works from home. Thank you! Would you do a hair video as I need that. I need to get my hair condition back but it’s so fine and over messes with. I have so many greys now but not ready to do the full grey 😅❤
Definitely on my list of future videos ❤️
Hi Madisun! How much would you recommend to keep for a potential next child ? I have pared down a lot of my belongings but find it difficult to part with my almost 2 year olds clothes unless they’re worn out. Thank you so much! I enjoyed this video
I have 1 box for my future babies. That’s my boundary.
@@MadisunGray this is a great idea, thank you for responding 🤎
I’ve been considering wearing bras less or not wearing them at all. I’ve really liked cami tanks recently.
You’re killing the game. Keep up the good work. 😃 You’re living your best life!!!
I don’t buy dryer sheets, plastic utensils, or Knick knack decorations.
❤️
Your hair looks great! Can you share what shampoo and conditioner you use if any and what hair oil?
🤍 What type of coconut oil do you use for skin and hair? What I have solidifies in the colder temperatures and so I need to warm it up before use. Is there one that is made specifically for skin and hair to replace lotions? Thank you so much! Love your videos! 🤍
I used the stuff that hardens on my babies as well. Once it's in your hands, it starts melting, so I never bothered heating it. (I'm in Canada)
You are such an inspiration! Thank you! I want to take your course, but holding off until we finish our debt journey!
❤️
I just found your Channel and I love it. I wanted to know how you got off Thyroid medications and well all medications? Thank you. Peace to you..
For anyone that can’t hear her talk… if you have headphones in you can only hear her voice from the left earbud.
I thought my right ear bud battery was dead 😂
Ok I’m not crazy… thank you!
Thanks, I was thinking I had a broken cable.
Thank you! I was using my new microphone. Still working out the kinks 😂
Oh hilarious! What a kink! I'm deaf in the left so thought I'd gone deaf in both ears :)
Love these! I think other people will too! Thanks for sharing!
Best period cup you’d recommend instead of tampons?
Never thought I’d stop buying energy drinks and workout supplements, but here I am! I’ve come a long way since XPloding in my Arizona Mountainside Fitness days.
Keep it up
I no longer buy most everything you mentioned with the exception of like two or 3 and there’s a whole list I have of my own that I don’t buy 😅 I save so much $$ too!
Yes, the Office! And I love your list! As far as coconut oil for your skin- is there a certain brand you recommend? I would love if you did a video about the specific items you would recommend (sorry if you have done this already, and I’ve either not watched it or forgot).
Coming soon! I always choose organic.
hello what reusable napkins do you use?
AGREE with you on the wine mom culture. Hard pass. It’s just sad. And I tried the instapot because of a few minimal influencers I followed, and I instantly disliked it. Was not any quicker than just doing things the old fashioned way, and it was more parts to clean and store! Great video ❤
I am so with you on saying no to wine mom culture. Being drunk and bashing your family is not cute.
We have made so.many changes over the last 6 years. We still need to do more.
❤️
What is wine mom culture?
I loved this video. What minimalist shoes do your kids use? Thank you!
Vivobarefoot
I also have asthma and Hashimitos thyroiditis/ Hypothyroidism. What have you done with your diet to get off the medication! I have tried to learn about it but it's all so much and so confusing unless you are a specialist. I'd love to get off this medication that doesn't seem to help me feel any better.
Love this video!! Where do you get your bralettes from?
Negative! rstyle.me/+8Dd8nv9thGZRBwELXXuHfg
Thanks Madison, where can we find the high quality clothes you wear? Did you mention the brands anywhere?
Can you tell me how you got off of Hypothyroid medication??? I have hypothyroidism and I absolutely hate taking medication I desperately want to stop taking it but was told i could die if I don’t take anything for hypothyroidism
We don't do streaming services either. We only have free antenna tv. We don't have wifi, we only use data on our phones. We don't purchase bioengineered food unless it's unknowingly in the food or the food we purchase from restaurants. If we want to watch a movie, we usually do it on a DVD
My friend is big on branch basics. I'll have to look into it.
