Thank you for your hard work! I have ME/CFS and one of your presentations at a conference with Ron Davis a few years back was the first clear evidence that there were physical symptoms going on. I'd been told by doctors that I was severely depressed and it was all in my head. I really appreciate that you're in this field and we're extremely lucky to have a talented researcher like you dedicate a large portion of your career to these groups of illnesses.

You're welcome. We are 2-3 months out from starting clinical trials, so I hope to have more good info soon. - Jarred Younger

Thank you for your information. I am trying to use any information to help me understand why and how I feel today. I served with the 82nd Airborne Division during the beginning all the way to the end of the Gulf War. I am always tired with no energy when I came back from the war . I have memory loss that I never had before.....etc.

Thank you Dr. Younger for this update. As someone who has served in the Gulf War and was diagnosed with autoimmune disease and a host of other chronic illnesses, this Will hopefully be helpful to those of us who have been turned down by the VA for disability multiple times. I look forward to future updates. I am curious to know if the information you have shared with us was also made available to the Department of Defense and the VA?

There is a scientific officer with the DoD that collects the information about GWI research. He is definitely interested in disseminating the information however possible. There probably won't be anything introduced to the VA until there are treatment recommendations. But the DoD is defintely expecting the research to lead to treatments, and the VA would welcome solid treatment recommendations. That is the reason we have been increasing our clinical trial research. - Jarred Younger

@@youngerlaboutstanding research, but sad the DOD is the only agency being informed. If the Va was to be informed it could really help a lot of vets not be accused of making this illness up. Could you please share this with a congressman at the very least? I screen shot what I could to share with congressman Kevin McCarthy who is my district congressman. Hopefully other will do the same. I also copied your link to share with him and on my nonprofit website. Again thank you!

Oxycodone barely puts a dent in this pain. I don't think ibuprofen is going to cut it.

Do you do consultations? I have severe cfs, eds - the fatigue is brutal

    • @youngerlab

I haven't been able to do consultations, mainly because I shouldn't give individual advice, and I have to focus on getting several clinical trials running right now. But I will be doing several videos soon with treatment advice individuals can take to their physician to try. - Jarred Younger
