Its hard case how the owner didnt even know the displacement.You would think he would know the basics before buying the blower.
scotty c 18-71 is the size.
18-71 is the old GMC designation for the ideal engine displacement recomendation for the old blowers on machinery.The displacement can be calculated roughly but can be more accurate if you know the pulley ratio etc.rough guide is rotor length in inchsx28.I would have thought the guy would known the displacement to work out his HP and driveline settings.
The 18-71 blowers displace 609 ci per Revolution

Chris Atkinson its not the biggest positive displacement blower period but it is the biggest of the teflon rotor blowers...hi helix screw blowers have a much larger blower case and can actually make a small block into bb displacement just to give you an idea of the largest positive displacement blower

That Camaro was beautiful until he blew the doors off that blower car, now I'm just not sure how to quantify its beauty. So many mopar fans so full of shit! They don't understand engines and apparently drag racing either. The asphalt and concrete felt more power from that chevy. Quicker car, less time to gain speed.
