@@hobie_cat6015 An A-cat will surely be fast. I may be looking for a smaller Hobie in the future. Anything with wings. The 21SE is a great boat! But I lost the possiblilty to store it mast up at the lake and it is no fun transporting.
@@danielhaglund244 Hello I don't know where you live but the Fx one could be an alternative. Unfortunately, this boat is no longer built either. But it's a bit lighter than the HC 17 and also has wings. However, these are not as comfortable as the HC 17 but bring a considerable advantage on downwind courses if there is enough wind that you can ride in the trapeze. We have beaten A-Cats in major regattas because the boat runs much deeper on the space course but almost as fast as an A-Cat. The Fx one is only traded used. Good boats (okay, sails usually have to be replaced) cost around €3,500 (this boad has a gennaker but no wings www.maletschek.at/boote/gebrauchte-boote/katamarane/fx-one-baujahr-2003-inkl-anhanger-und-slipwagen/)
@@Marciunas Hallo Sorry for the late answer. Normal wind was at 12 node guts at 17-18 node. That was the reason why I had to work with the sheet more as I actually wanted.
Please excuse me that I am only now answer. I was faster on the upwind course because I could drive a much better angle to the wind. The reason for this was that the Hobie 20 didn't have a jib traveler. He could drive upwind about 12 degrees less than me. On the half wind course he was significantly faster than me. Unfortunately, the two did not have their gennaker with them.
Hobie_Cat sorry for my English, yes with the cat 16 RS, but no experience with hobies. Though I have years of experience on the RS 600 and RS 800, very good boats I would recommend.
Super, lucky with the weather 👍
Very nice! Bin mal als Jugendlicher ein Mal Hobie 16 gesegelt. Weil wir so leicht waren, konnten wir den kaum halten...
130 kg ist das ideale Regattagewicht! 👍
Very nice sailing! Well done.
Thanks a Lot. What are you sailing.
@@hobie_cat6015 I had a Hobie 21SE but sold it this summer due to circumstances.
@@danielhaglund244 that's sad. Whats your next Projekt? My ist a A-Cat

Sorry but the Battery was empty. so there is no Material for the course.
Could you please upload a video with the jib?
No sorry. Thus ist a single Hand catamaran With out a Jib. But It have a Gennaker. 😳
I don't use the jib. the boat is no faster with the jib than with it.
We’re you faster than the hobie 20?
