To be more specific, you have to play through Hector's Story once you've unlocked it to fully understand how Nergal came to be who he is in Blazing Sword.

I remember when I played this game. I was just waiting for Marth, Roy, and Ike to appear. I though for sure that Ike would be some mercenary. Geez, I was an idiot. But, that's all in the past now.

MrEJ2003 it wasn't that I liked him just that I liked dancers and throught I would have him for the whole game.
Well, Nils' stats do carry over to Ninian, so it did still help to do that.

Blazing Blade was my first Fire Emblem and I think it's still my favorite. Not only does it have great characters and a story that successfully ramps up the stakes without feeling forced, but it introduces so many layers of gray morality. Better still, unlike so many FE games that have the entire world in a massive war, Blazing Blade is limited to a small number of people knowing that anything more than a few instances of civil unrest happened. The heroes saved the world and defeated a potentially infinite army of Morphs, and most people won't even know.

if fe7 ever gets remade i just want linus/lloyd to be saveable theyre 2 of my favorite characters and i think its so sad that theyre not even evil its just 2 morally gray characters on the wrong side of the conflict T_T and to make matters worse everything really hit me about how much had happened when ninos ending said she started a QUIET life in a small village in pherae like not that long ago she had lived with a group of assasins but all of her family died

Seriously. Lloyd would probably be the only swordmaster in the game worth using.
I saw a mod that allowed Nino to recruit the surviving of the two brothers in their second battle. That's realistically the only way to make it work, as the other one has to die in the early game. But it lets you have another conditional unit.
Also we should have recruited Jan and Fargus. Jan would be our only Brigand. (Actually that's just his model, apparently he has a Bow an Axe in his inventory implying he's probably actually a Warrior.)

So.... Roy is a 1/4 dragon, atleast make him a manakete. That way he's great
i mean,at least it did not hit him as hard as the halfdragon sophia. she got literally the worst physical traits of both species and only got mediocre fortunetelling to compensate(even nils can do it better in fe7)

in general his balanced stats just make him an all round reliable unit plus hes a mounted lord and there is no such thing as a bad mounted lord

0:41 Nergal did not want to call dragons using the dragon's gate because, uuuuu, evil xD, he wanted to absorved their quintessence to become even more powerful (more than Athos).
I know, it's a joke but despite using naga mark as prfile pic, FE 7 is my favorite FE (so far).

actually,that is even more stupid. why would he want to kill the dragons instead of killing everyone using the dragons? i know he said that they are hard to control,but they need no controlling anyways. nergal is basicly equivalent to athos or a bit over him in terms of power and that dude withstood two firedragons blasting him with their defnegatebreath of no u for a few seconds. he could just flee as soon as the dragons come from the gate and collect the quintessence from the ash afterwards
@@lpfan4491 pretty sure you just described what he actually wanted to do. I don't remember him wanting to KILL dragons, he wanted to harvest the quintessence released in the ensuing chaos.

Bramimond revived her at the end of the game showing that he was a much greater dark magic user than Nergal being able to recreate a person’s soul instead of just making a puppet lookalike.

no. since Ninian is half dragon, Roy would only be 1/4 dragon.
+Mariokemon However, dragon blood is still passed down and the legendary weapons react to it. If you take Fire Emblem Awakening, you can get a 1/4 dragon Morgan (via Nah) but still be weak vs wyvern slayers.

Robin is also technically a dragon, so his fell blood and Nah's dragon blood merge into Morgan being weak to dragonslayers

It is Ike, not Micaiah, who is a forced main character. Just because she wasn't in Path of Radiance doesn't make her bad.

Roy is only 1/4 dragon at most
Because Ninian isn't technically Roy's canonical mom, she's 1/3 canonical possible moms. Roy's mother can also be Lyn or Fiora. Also Ninian is half-dragon, so that would only make Roy 1/4. That's still too important of a plot point to gloss over, though.
I suspect if they remake these games they would make Roy canonically the son of Ninian just because it adds that much more irony with Zephiel's plot. The fact that Roy can POSSIBLY be 1/4 dragon is far too important of a plot point in FE6 to simply gloss over. That's because, of course, at the time FE6 was made Roy's mom hadn't been decided upon yet. Because Eliwood was the main character of the prequel and Roy's mom wasn't decided upon, that allowed them make Eliwood have a flexible choice of wife.
Somehow Lyn still has more marriage choices than Eliwood and Hector... she can marry either of them, Kent or Rath (or Florina; not really but Lyn/Florina was one of her endings so people like to joke about that). Eliwood also has Fiora and Ninian (with Ninian who the game REALLY pushes hard) while Hector has Florina and Farina.
Disagree about Lyn. Lyn is way better than Micaiah. Other than that, great video.
Lyn is a shit-tier unit and mediocre character that is forced upon you. She also has minimal effect on the plot. At least Miciah had a niche Lyn is just a shitty version of Guy or Raven.

Hey dipshit, just because something is popular doesn't mean it's good. Lyn is a shit-tier unit. She is locked to swords for the majority of the game (and this game is full of lance units), she relies on dodging to survive (in a game full of LANCES, how do you not see that as a problem), her promotion is a shitty hybrid of a nomadic trooper and a sword master but she doesn't get the mounted utility or extra crit from either class, and if you don't use Lyn's mode her bases are trash.

The term shit-tier is not supposed to be the literal tier Lyn is in, just the quality of the unit from an objective standpoint. About the characterization, my point stands because that is a simple fact. Popular does not automatically mean good.
