Last week at work they decided to have a picnic with lots of alcohol, they roasted 4 pigs and 3 chickens and play "home made" music. Oh my God, I don't drink alcohol, I don't eat meat, and I don't listen to country music in any way.😅When I run out of work, I was really angry, disappointed and sad. I imagined the event live. I was exhausted. I was truly disgusted by this act. I was also ready to quit. Just like when they try to force me to get vaccinated during covid. Obviously that didn't work on me. Just why am I the only one out of 150 people to see this, I wondered. And yes, this is my trigger. What triggers me? I had to process. . I partially succeeded. And when they said today that it is necessary to kill all nutria because they are like rats, I was calm. I didn't agree with them, but it didn't disturb my peace. I am only lucky that I was visiting the temple when I was 15, I am lucky that I had a difficult childhood and found shelter in God. I am lucky that as a child I sat with a pack of village dogs, who welcomed me into their pack. I am so lucky and grateful..

i embrace my trauma; I feel it, then release it; my triggers are reminders that I MADE IT THROUGH absolute treachery… I SURVIVED… and like links in a Warriors’ suit of armor, that lock together to form impenetrable protection, i can honor them and allow them to fortify me in safety, to further my growth…
and yes, so absolutely Todd, so agree with you, that even our precious, valiant, over-reacting and failing at a trigger, is still a sacred bit, and an honoring of the grief we have walked through.. my internal triggers are like the external scars and limps after a head-on, roll over that burst into flames AND exploded, that i healed from… scars, largely invisible, of very real wounds..
some say they are ugly, but i see the beauty in them, and in me..
    and i am still standing..
thank you so much for this beautiful beautiful deep message✨❤️‍🔥✨❤️‍🔥✨

Yes, very true . I would like to add that some traumas need accompanying by experienced and wise or professional person who holds the space. Sometimes touch is needed.
Or just the presence of someone who at this moment is grounded and expanded at the same time.
❤ love and healing to all

Great videos, appreciate you sharing your wisdom on such important topics, this one was especially meaningful since it is a topic no one likes to deal with and is difficult to face, for years I blocked trauma and through my meditation and yoga practice have learned to make friends with it - thanks for posting and sharing!

❤ Thank you!!! It is needed a lot of courage to use visualization or meditation in approaching trauma, speacially because it was removed from memories, putted in some corners as you mentioned. Still, i can't do it, i think a slow approach can help and professional healthcare also.

thank you .. trauma is a big theme in my life from childhood till now. only yesterday i talked about it. and that i feel i can't get rid of them and there always come new ones to old ones like sudden death and own diagnosis for example. and to start from the very beginning: how can you face physical abuse and things you don't even know because you forgot/suppressed and no one can tell you because they all are dead already or don't want to talk about it? but somehow it is always there because all your life long you lived with the effects of what happened and long time i did not know the source of my anger.

My body contracts so tightly as the condition trauma response. To protect myself. But it has gotten so tightly wound. Causing almost catatonic freezing. So hard to feel safe to feel emotion. Slowly trying to heal.
