Xfinity app only works for people with Xfinity as their Internet provider. You will have to look up your individual router to see how port forwarding works on it. You can then use the numbers from this video which are listed in the description to achieve the same effect from your router.
Unfortunately, without being able to see it, or know it for myself I have no way of knowing what the issue is. From what you say I kind of doubt it but it is possible.
You must have an Xfinity account. In other words, you have to be getting your Internet service from Xfinity in order for these exact steps to work. If you are not an Xfinity customer, then you will have to figure out who provide you with Internet and find out how to do portforwarding for them, then use the numbers that I provide.

@@officialjesusfreak5377 I found out what the problem is. Well im guessing the difference between my app and yours is I own my modem/router. Unfortunately I do not have AT&T internet so it would be difficult to show the steps even if I knew them. But if you figure out how to access your router and get to the port forwarding option, the process should be really similar. Sorry I can’t be more help.

Anybody have any ideas for starlink internet? Apparently you cant do port forwarding on starlink as far as what I’ve read. Please help!
Someone please help him because I don’t even know what star link is.
Didn’t work for ps5, any other port numbers?
I’m not sure if there any other numbers out there, but I can tell you that it definitely worked on my PS5.
Did you check out the description where I put in a couple of extra numbers or at least one extra number?
Does this work if the PS5 is connected with an ethernet cable?
Absolutely my friend. That is how mine is.
Mine will link all the way through then lose connection will this same process still work?
Unfortunately, without being able to see it, or know it for myself I have no way of knowing what the issue is. From what you say I kind of doubt it but it is possible.
Great video! Thank you
I’m happy it was able to help you. Have fun gaming!
Big Help Big Help it worked right away🔥🔥🔥🔥
Mission accomplished then! See you on the gaming field.
For AT&T it says I have to be on the main network to use advanced settings…smh
One question how to add sony playstation 5 device?
I’m not sure what this question is asking. Could you try to rephrase or explain?
After use the link number on play remote ps5 says somthing went wrong ce-110039-4
I am unfamiliar with that particular problem. Sorry
When I try signing in it says that the information doesn’t match our records why?
You must have an Xfinity account. In other words, you have to be getting your Internet service from Xfinity in order for these exact steps to work. If you are not an Xfinity customer, then you will have to figure out who provide you with Internet and find out how to do portforwarding for them, then use the numbers that I provide.
My phone number aren’t valid creating an c
Account
@@xLaszlox you must not be an Xfinity Xfi customer then. and if you are not that is OK. Just figure out what router you have and use these numbers to open those ports. The only problem is you have to figure out how to use your particular router. I have answered this question many times in this thread.
I appreciate your help!
Happy it worked out for you!!
But I don’t have the infinity app
You don’t need the Xfinity app. That is only for people who have Xfinity. if you do not have Xfinity, then you need to figure out what kind of router you have, and how to set port forwarding on that router. Then just use the numbers that I supply in this video.
Is it same for spectrum app ?
My network is through AT&T… is it the same steps??

This how to portforwarding on Att
I have AT&T WiFi! How do I fix it??
Please read the other comments and look for the same question. I believe that has been answered before by those with Att.
th-cam.com/video/Fbb5T9VWFZ8/w-d-xo.html
Found this vid that helps get to port forwarding on Att. Once you get to port forwarding then use the numbers in the video and the description.
Just connect the dual sense with bluetooth to your phone, ps5 or ps4, mine work with an old ps4, and will work again
Absolutely
Can you change Nat type
It’s not something that I had to do or worry about.
@@officialjesusfreak5377 thank you for a rapid response the DATA Companies do not have a static IP while forces remote play to be stuck on NAT TYPE 3. This is based in the UK ISP EE. However on an android you maybe able to get APN settings to allow this if you search for APN profiles EE. Sony will not claim liability for this. I just wanna play red dead redemption on the Go. I will let you know if the access point works when I purchase an android IPHONES DO NOT ALLOW FOR APN TO BE TAMPERED WITH.
you know how to do with spectrum
Sorry, but I have only done it with Xfinity. I do know that if you can access port forwarding on spectrum, you can probably get it done.
How do do it if you got spectrum ?
I’m sorry but I don’t even know what spectrum is let alone how to port forward them. The numbers should work if you figure out how to get to port forwarding.
Does this fix works for PSPlay apps too?
Not sure. Let me know.
It worked! However my downloads speeds have dropped now is this normal?
Not that I am aware of.
Thank you bro it works
Thanks for your thanks bro. It’s nice to be appreciated.
Last resort I thought would work it still won’t connect to my console for some reason
Sorry to hear that.
Lamentablemente no funciona la app en latinoamericana 😭😭
@@Renzotool it is OK if you do not have the app because it’s all about your router whatever you are using as a router, allowing your PlayStation to communicate with outside sources. So figure out how to open the port and put these codes in on whatever router you are using, and it should work.
Mine does the opposite it won’t connect over my house wifi but it will on my data
You may have a firewall type of thing that is excluding your access to your ps over the Wi-Fi. Are you connected with XFi?
There is no “View network details” on my Xfi app.
Please see the update instructions in the detail section of the video. They changed the way the app is laid out after I made the video. But the new instructions are there.
I followed your new instructions in the description precisely.
1) I click on connect at the bottom of the screen.
2) my name is at the top of the screen and is not clickable with “restart modem” right under my name.
Thank you for your help. If you find anything further please let me know.
@@donhill9809 I wish I could help you sir. I have gone back to the app several times and even went to the other account app that is not purple and white but I cannot duplicate what you are telling me you see when you open the app. The only thing I can possibly think is that maybe you don’t have the XFi Internet with the white tower router. So maybe it shows different options. But that’s just a guess with me trying to figure out what the issue is.
@@officialjesusfreak5377 I found out what the problem is. Well im guessing the difference between my app and yours is I own my modem/router. (I bought from an electronics store) You probably have a Xfinity router.
I was able to login directly to my router and set the port forwarding for my ps5.
Hopefully this helps someone else.
WHAT IF i dont have xfinity acount?
That will be different depending on your router type. You should be able to look up how to access port forwarding on your type of router. Then use the numbers I provide you here and it should help you out.
What can I do if I have this error but in a windows pc?
Sorry it took so long to get back with you. It should be the same thing because the problem is not the device as much as your router. You need to figure out what type of router you have and how to access the portforwarding. I am just use the numbers that I gave you.
Outstanding. Really appreciate it!
Glad I could help!!
How to create an account on the application
I am sorry if I caused you any confusion. This app is only for those who are Xfinity customers and specifically the ones that use something called X fi. You have to know what type of router and Internet service you have, and use the procedures for activating portforwarding on your particular device. You can still use the numbers that I provide but you must know what your equipment is.
I turned on mobile data and I still get the can't find wifi but I turned mine off on my phone
Change the setting on your remote play
cant find more settings.in the xfinity app
Ok so they changed it to try and hide it from us. Lol. So when you open the app click connect at the very bottom of the screen. You will see the name of your network. Click that. Then at the bottom of the page will be "advanced settings” CLICK that. And that is where you will find Port forwarding now. Thanks for letting me know they changed it so I could go find it.
@@officialjesusfreak5377 it worked thank you my friend
@@kp1x Thanks for the props. I try to help any time I think I can. I appreciate y’all showing me love even though I’m not one of those professional TH-camrz. I’m what? I got subscribers? Makes me want to put out more stuff but I have no idea what to put out. Unfortunately I’m not an actual tech wiz, just a guy willing to share what he does know.
@@officialjesusfreak5377 my network name shows up but I can't click on it. I have the new xfinity app. (Purple and white)
@@ez8207 That is very strange. I just checked the app again and it is still working the same way. You have to click at the very bottom where it says "connect" and that will bring up a new set of menu options such as "run test" and right underneath it should be your Wi-Fi name with a small arrow pointing to the right. When you touch that it takes you to a new menu and "advanced settings" is at the bottom. This is the latest version of the Xfinity app and yes it is purple and white.
can show us how to create xfinity account?
Xfinity is a cable and Internet provider company. You have to already be subscribed to them to get an account. However I’m sure you have someone providing you with Internet, so you just need to know how to access the portforwarding on your particular router.
Thank you 🙏🏽
Glad to be of service!
Awesome. I’m delighted that you can get back to gaming!
I can’t even connect my ps5 to my remote play app. I’m on the same network. I only have one network. Quite ridiculous tbh.
Sorry to hear that.
If it doesn’t work on your pc, just redownload the remote play app.
If only T-Mobile had port forwarding.. so far I've only connected successfully once to my system.
Seemed to work after a lot of loading time and resetting installed program. Hotel wifi was holding up.
Put modem/router in DMZ mode for your playstation. Works like a charm.
I folowed your way to the letter and i still keep getting this
It wont let me send the picture i took 😢
I’m sorry to hear that. Did you look at the details section because there may be an extra set of numbers you can enter in the update part. I think. Maybe you just need the other port number(s). I hope it works.
Thank you sooooooooooooooo veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyy much
Glad to be a help!!!
Hi sir i am filipino i am asking for ur help hope u understand me ill struggle for this remote play mine its working just fine via same connection in my ps5 to android but when i change to mobile data its not working so i follow ur step to setup the portforward in my router but it doesnt work and also yours is simple port forwarding no indication for ip mine it has public ip to put but i dont know what ip should i put in ps5 or to my router??pls im begging you i will subcribed u just to help my struggle😢🙏
😢😢 I’m sorry but I don’t have a solution.
How to do this on playstation portal?
I am not really familiar with PlayStation portal, but I know it is a device. You can use remote play on. That being the case, so long as you figure out how to set the port, forwarding on your router to the numbers that I have given, you should be ableto achieve remote play on that device and any other device you have connected to your PlayStation.
I was using few days and send it back niw I am waiting for my steamdeck oled, he is also have program to remote play ps5 and much more.
Not working for me for my Fritzbox router:(
Sorry to hear that. It may work if you look up how to port for it on a fritz box router. I have never heard of the thing, but I’m sure someone knows how to porforward on it. The numbers should still work, but follow their instructions for that router.
I have it on windows. So what now
You have what on windows?
@@officialjesusfreak5377 the error code😅
Thanks, dude!
Glad to be of assistance my friend.
I have a problem please help me
@@3mk-Midoriya I’m not totally sure I can but what can I do for you?
Could you please make one for at&t
Unfortunately I do not have AT&T internet so it would be difficult to show the steps even if I knew them. But if you figure out how to access your router and get to the port forwarding option, the process should be really similar. Sorry I can’t be more help.
th-cam.com/video/Fbb5T9VWFZ8/w-d-xo.html
This video should help with Att
Mines saying checking network and I’m at my house
I am not sure why that’s happening. If you have already set up your device with your PlayStation at the same time, it should be able to go through.
@@officialjesusfreak5377 I’m surprised ur trying to answer my question even tho it’s kinda bad
how do i install? How do I find the app?
Do you have to be an Xfinity customer for this app to be appropriate for you. But if you are an Xfinity customer then just go to the App Store and look up Xfinity. they have quite a few apps but this one is just called Xfinity.
