Still waiting for more about all the clones that Fabius let go free on their own after deciding he wasn't going to keep transferring his consciousness between cloned bodies anymore during "Manflayer," especially since he's supposedly got a new body during "Genefather." Surely he'd be making far more progress by working with his clones to advance any research much faster than he would on his own, many hands make light work, but I guess we're supposed to just ignore those clones like we're supposed to ignore Clonegrim being stuck in Trayzn's museum (but we won't forget, we will never forget.)
This is why I love Abaddon. He is the the big bad leader of Chaos, the ultimate bad guy in the setting, the leader of the "villain" faction. But he doesn't worship it, he doesn't believe in it, he doesn't serve it, he simply uses it. So many villains are obsessed/ruled by their faction, Sephiroth and Jenova being a big example. But Abaddon full on couldn't care less for the victory of Chaos, he is merely for the defeat of the Emperor. And I find that really cool, especially with some of the most powerful beings in the setting worshiping chaos, and chaos itself being so corrupting, he has avoided being ruled by it, he still has his soul, his beliefs and his morals (what little he had left anyway). The dude was happy to use chaos worshipers in the billons in multiple black crusades. Because he had actual objectives, not just take Cadia. It also makes the Cadians even MORE beast, because when he full on INTENTIONALLY tried to take Cadia intact, he just couldn't. Its one of the many reasons Iron Warriors are my favourite legion too, anti Imperium but not pro chaos, its simply another resource. But yea, plenty of people go "no, its just plot armour and poor writing that he wasn't trying to take Cadia, he lost those crusades", not realising every major character has plot armour. Salamanders for example, get so much lore boost from friendship, and space wolves are just space vikings. But Abaddon's fake crusades are better writing than simply losing every single time, espeically when all he could do was destroy the planet, not take it. Also Huron is a good villain, but seriously overrated by the fandom, he's incredibly generic as a character, but there is only 2 things that actually make him stand out. The Badab war, and his position of Pirate lord, and even that part could work with any other generic character. Fabius Bile and Honsou are way more interesting personality wise, and have more to them than just their rank. Now I need Perturabo to come out as the face of Renegades faction, not beholden to Abaddon's idea of revenge, but most certainly using chaos as fuel and bringing down the Imperium.
Just because Aboddon says that doesn't make it so. He is straight up doing what chaos wants and his personal goals are completely irrelevant. He serves no purpose and has no end goal other than what chaos wants.
It feels a bit weird to me that Vashtor has limitless control over every kind of technology, that would imply that he can end the Necrons in a snap! I wonder if GW have consider the consequences of giving Vasthor that power in this new narrative.
I love how despite there being sooo many tales of characters from the traitor legions. We still have literally nothing to uniquely represent these characters on the tabletop. It specifically why I just defer to the mono god legions for something flavorfully unique.
GW better not make Perty or Huron people who allied with the chaos gods. Ruins their charactarization as "users of the chaos powers" not "ones being used by the chaos powers"

Huron wouldn't magically become the new Warmaster. None of the Primarchs respect him and he's not earned the Mark of each of the gods like Abaddon. He also doesn't care about prosecuting the Long War, which is a major part of CSM's identity. Huron would be one of many claimants.

@@MariusGage I can post the relevant bit if you like. Abaddon got a broken jaw and some slight rib-damage. Calgar was sliced to the hearts and left near dead. It was a low-difficulty fight for Abaddon. Abaddon was dominant.

The "holding back" line refers to the early part of the fight, when they are engaging at range with firearms. As soon as Abaddon closes the distance, Calgar goes down hard. Abaddon has several good campaigns (Fall of Cadia, Arks of Omen, Rift War etc) and he is in a series of Black L, best novels across the Heresy, Siege and current 40k. People that wants Huron to be the Warmaster (in my experience) only knows Huron as that cool "anti-tax" warlord and knows Abaddon only via the Failbaddon meme... Which is untrue and simply wrong.

Are they directing the WH40k universe to some of bad end / reset as they did with WH Fantasy and Age of Sigmar / Old world ? Cause honnestly I don't see how in lore the Imperium can survive. Split in two, one of the side can't warp travel anymore against an ennemy army that is infinite and basically immortal only growing stronger by the day.
I know you as an IF fanboy, hates Purty & his sons, but the IW were only pranking the sons of Dorn. The Iron Warriors saved the Imperivm during the Siege of Terra. Purty & his boys don't worship Chaos, but seem to be a detached Legion & having their ties to Vashtor & the Dark Mechanicus don't seem to have allegiance to any of their fallen brothers. From the Archs of Omen series, it seems that Purty is the only primarch that Abaddon trusts.
watching eternal crusade makes me sad I missed that. The artstyle was perfect and cartoony. It looked like it would have been an amazing alternative to SW Battlefront

I figured out what the stipulation is with Warhammer in general. To start. Random tangent. But I don't think I was the only child that was not allowed to play "grand theft auto" as a child. Because of "the fear our young mind might try to replicate what it sees on the screens" hence the prevalence of ratings such as pg-13, rated R, E for everyone, M for mature to name a few. I'll get into the relevance this has With Warhammer give me a moment algorithms. Started slowing my typing process. Jesse artificial intelligence loosen up a bit. But this same reason people decided to shelter children from certain media outlets. Is the same stipulation gw and their representation of how the people affect the setting. The people as in the audience. From my understanding we are treated like H.P Lovecraft's observer. As in we are treated like a all protein power such as the warp or places where in universe deities live with the way we think and talk about the setting. More so talk, while thinking has a lot to do with what we discuss. When an alternative and a better simulated/ predictable trajectory of a longer lasting setting is if abbadon had some sort of plan for establishing a foot hold in deep space. Probably something to do with lock and key. And how a lock tends to represent the environment of our mental scapes. While the key is how we seamlessly traverse this landscape and alter/change it where ever and however we see fit to. Not to make ones own empire. But to give room for input by the wider spectrum of cultures and people out there. And how individuals such as myself can make such impacts. What I'm trying to say is. Like Austin Powers. Vashtorr can read Necron minds and whisper to them through the Warp and has corrupted a Necron Pylon recently.

Some of them do. But the most blessed Chaos ships like Typhus' ship don't use Gellar fields.

Are they directing the WH40k universe to some of bad end / reset as they did with WH Fantasy and Age of Sigmar / Old world ? Cause honnestly I don't see how in lore the Imperium can survive. Split in two, one of the side can't warp travel anymore against an ennemy army that is infinite and basically immortal only growing stronger by the day.

I know you as an IF fanboy, hates Purty & his sons, but the IW were only pranking the sons of Dorn. The Iron Warriors saved the Imperivm during the Siege of Terra. Purty & his boys don't worship Chaos, but seem to be a detached Legion & having their ties to Vashtor & the Dark Mechanicus don't seem to have allegiance to any of their fallen brothers.
From the Archs of Omen series, it seems that Purty is the only primarch that Abaddon trusts.

The concept of EC was good, the execution was awful because the lead was a pathological liar. They overpromised, under delivered and left the ship because Dead By Daylight became a massive hit and they had no reason to invest more money in EC. You didn't miss anything

It’s incredibly on brand for Perturabo to be a demon primarch. He’s petty enough to become one to prove a point, and he did.
Literally said at the end of the SoT that he pulled his forces because he wanted to win on merit, not magic, and seeing Horus corrupted was the catalyst for him turning into a demon just to show his brothers how to do it right.

I figured out what the stipulation is with Warhammer in general.

@@bbdf21 War on a Galactic scale isn't a simple chess game. Abaddon’s military position was so vastly superior at the Time of Guillimans return (and has only grown stronger by the time of the Lions) that no general, no matter their skill could make up the difference.
Chaos and Abaddon has defacto already won. Guilliman, The Lion and The Imperium are raging against the Dying of the Light.

The Lion has carved out a Protectorate in Nihilus, literally taking down Scores of Chaos Marines with his fists, Guiliman has driven back Mortarion, why do you ignore all that? Chaos is randomly strogner despite all these setbacks. Nice Going. Why would you defend bad writing?

The Rift has mortally wounded the Imperium. The actions of Dante and the Lion in Nihilus is pinpricks and covers next to no territory.
Abaddon has struck the Imperium a blow, that is slowly killing it.
