    wearing mine right now after a motorcycle accident. Still needs surgery but the shoulder support and warmth I get is very comfortable and helps lessen pain and inflammation. I dont wear it all day because it does rub a bit under the opposite arm but thats unavoidable in a support sleeve like this.
    Also wore an incrediwear knee sleeve high on my knee for a deep thigh bruise from the same accident. The thigh was healed in 3 weeks.

    Nice review Nick! I'm going to purchase the back/ab brace. At age 67, still hitting the gym hard, but those heavy squats from days gone by, have taken their toll, and gravity ain't my friend, so I like the idea of improved circulation without always having to resort to CBD and otc topicals. Thanks again!

      Excellent - it's totally worth it. The technology in these things is really cool. My dad had 7 pairs of their socks because of how good they were for his foot circulation - didn't wear any other socks for more than a year!

    Thanks for the info! I have a left dislocated shoulder. I was thinking about using this for my squats during the workout. My number are going up in squats but I have been noticing my shoulder has been fatiguing faster when I go up in wait! Which limits my gains… on leg days. Also, I’m considering using it for bench & shoulder workouts.

      It'll be a good option for that - and yep, crazy how shoulder issues can impact legs like that!

    Hey brother i had shoulder dislocation last month ,i m recovered dine with physcial therapy....does rhis brace help in giving support to shoulder and help in preventing shoulder dislocation

    • @MadScientistOfMuscle
      @MadScientistOfMuscle  ปีที่แล้ว

      yep, it does give you good support for a dislocation. It helps keep the humerus seated in the joint properly.

      I haven't tested it myself, but based on my experience with their other products, I would say it's quite likely that yes, it does.

    Can you wear it 24hours a day?

    • @MadScientistOfMuscle
      @MadScientistOfMuscle  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You could, sure. But you'd probably want to take it off now and then to let your skin breathe a bit.

    Would this help me? , I had a partial shoulder replacement 2 years ago and still having a lot of pain around shoulder , also lost my deltoid muscle from injury and pretty much have a frozen shoulder

    • @MadScientistOfMuscle
      @MadScientistOfMuscle  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think this would be fantastic for you. It not only provides support, it continuously improves the circulation in the area, which will be very helpful for that frozen shoulder.

      yep, it's very comfortable to wear while training (and good for benching, too).

    hi, would you recommend this for someone playing football (soccer) who does need to have good movement in the arm, i.e. does this significantly reduce your movement in the shoulder/arm

    • @MadScientistOfMuscle
      @MadScientistOfMuscle  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I actually found it to move pretty well. I don't think it would limit you at all. I was able to do pressing movements and pulldown movements without any issue. It's basically material and elastic - would be good support without too much constriction.

    I dislocated my shoulder, going to play football and its not comfortable. What brace is good for heavy hitting, but still comfortable? Appreciate you.

    • @MadScientistOfMuscle
      @MadScientistOfMuscle  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hmm... I actually don't know the answer to that one. Do have a trainer where you play? they could likely give you a better answer. This particular brace is best for rehab and recuperation....it won't do much to support a shoulder for heavy hitting.

    I feel like I tweak my shoulder every two months when going to the gym and always have to take about two to three weeks off before easing back in. Does this provide pain relief WHILE lifting. Like if you currently have pain could you put it on and continue to lift with less pain? Thanks for taking the time to do this. Great Review

    • @MadScientistOfMuscle
      @MadScientistOfMuscle  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I've found it's more of a long-term solution rather than an acute "pain relief now" kind of thing. Increased circulation could potentially reduce pain at the moment, but I've found it's more useful for recovery. That being said, I did find that the extra support in the shoulder DID feel good while benching, so there definitely is potential that it could help in the moment as well as longer term. Hope that helps! Bottom line, I think it would be a VERY good item for you.

      I had the same problem for years until I got sick of it and went to a orthopedic surgeon. Sent me for an MRI and it turned out I had two tears in my labrum and needed surgery.

    I lift a pair of dumbbells over my head on the right shoulder get a pain and it stopped me lifting it right over my head. I have just started to use a brace my shoulder still aches with the brace on. Would it be ok to still lift as heavy as i can and train just as hard if I didn't injure my shoulder with the brace on.

    • @MadScientistOfMuscle
      @MadScientistOfMuscle  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If it aches even with a brace on, that's a good indication that there is an injury of some sort going on or you're on the way to one. Have you had it checked out by a doctor? That's the first step. Do you get pain with any other shoulder movements or just the overhead stuff?

    • @garethdavis4806
      @garethdavis4806 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for responding back to my message. The pain is not coming from the top of the shoulder it is the back of the shoulder it is coming from. After I worked out if I stretch my arm back of my head my bicep aches when I flex my bicep it aches. Wearing the brace when I am working out on the bicep the aches slowly wearing off but it still gets that ache on the shoulder when I'm lifting the weight over my head. I worked out last Saturday evening I didn't feel like lifting it over my head the weight. I just done biceps press ups and chest. I did get a bit of ache on the first set doing chest then didn't get any aches. When I was doing press ups didn't get any aches on my shoulder. Today not noticed any aches on my shoulder. Yesterday I was cleaning out the guinea pigs cage and I was scrubbing the cage out I felt a dull ache on the shoulder. I feel alright now I only know when I am lifting those weights up tomorrow if the ache as gone.

      @@garethdavis4806 gotcha. Yeah, i would suggest seeing a doctor for it for sure. Definitely beyond my skillset to diagnose and I wouldn't want to guide in the wrong direction.

      Still feel the pain when I am lifting over the head with the brace on because my brace only £10 would it make difference if I bought a brace more expensive I won't feel the pain when lifting over my head.

    • @garethdavis4806
      @garethdavis4806 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I sent you a comment 4 days ago asking you if I bought a dear brace I wouldn't get the pain on my shoulder. I watched a video on TH-cam about shoulder I think I got Tentanitus the tendons in the shoulder and bicep are weak thats what caused the pain in the shoulder and bicep. I feel it on the left shoulder now before it was just on the right shoulder and it is in the same place on the shoulder and the bicep.

    What injury are u recovering from??

    • @MadScientistOfMuscle
      @MadScientistOfMuscle  ปีที่แล้ว

      Luckily, no injury. I was just testing the brace to see how it would function. I do have shoulder structure issues just in general (I have to watch for benching pressing too much, can't do upright rows whatsoever, even with just an empty bar), so I wanted to see how this would feel with that in mind.

    Is there any brace you would recommend for people who are actively training in moderation and looming for more stabilization due to a shoulder injury?

    • @MadScientistOfMuscle
      @MadScientistOfMuscle  ปีที่แล้ว

      This one can actually be worn while training and does help to stabilize while you're training, beyond just the circulation effect. I haven't really tried many others, to be honest. Of the ones I have tried, this one did work the best.

    I tore my rotator cuff completely, and had shoulder salvage surgery. Would this help me? Currently I'm not even strong enough to do a single pushup. I used to do 100 a day.

    • @MadScientistOfMuscle
      @MadScientistOfMuscle  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it would be absolutely worth testing. It won't cure or fix anything but it will increase circulation to the injured area, which can help with healing and support for sure.

    I wrestle and struggle with dislocations. However I’m trying to find a brace that I can wear while I compete but I’ve been trying to find something that doesn’t rub underneath the armpit area when wearing.
    Did this brace rub under the arms while you were using this brace?

    • @MadScientistOfMuscle
      @MadScientistOfMuscle  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'd actually not recommend this one for use while wrestling, to be honest. It would rub in the arm pit area, plus it would be a bit too restrictive on you. It's more targeted for increasing circulation pre and post training, with a side benefit of stabilizing the shoulder, but it's not really designed for use like I think you'd be looking for.

    • @MadScientistOfMuscle

      yep, definitely. The brace is supportive and the material helps improve circulation to the area.
