You’re the best dude. Don’t make it too easy for us and giving away your trade secrets. I wouldn’t want you to make yourself obsolete. I can’t wait to have a consult. 😁
When Tuning to the ATF Curve manually or with the Auto EQ Setting I get a stinging frequency in the area of snare sounds. Do you have any Idea why this happens?
regarding cancellations at certain frequencies, will the auto eq boost those frequencies to match the house curve? Because I prefer cutting and never boosting any frequency

Thanks a lot for reuploading it Nick. We want more of your older videos online.
Awesome man, thanks for bringing it back for us non-aco dsps 🎉

Thank you so much, Nick for sharing this with us. You're the best!
Thank you so much Nick.
Thanx Nick. Awesome vid.
That Panasonic head unit though! :) But seriously GREAT VID Nick!
Copy the helix mic cal file to the desktop.
Edit it from there.
Copy/Paste & replace it back in the Helix folder.
Thanks. This video was exactly what I needed. I couldn't figure it out myself. Is there anywhere I can get a copy of your curve file please?
What microphone did you use for the measurement?
hey when you tune with REW when do you use corellated or uncorellated pink noise for measurements?
Correlated Pink Noise.

Could be a number of reasons. Bring it by and I can take a look

Hey Nick.....great video. Just a question. How do you set up a house curve and import it into the helix software?
Are the autoEQ adjustments done with a PEQ or GEQ?

@@3dxfx all that tells me is you do not understand gain structure and audio signal. Boosting is fine if you know what you're doing.
thanks to you, i bit the bullet and ordered a Helix ultra!
Should the left and right side be matching or unique ?
what trick are you using to load a curve , also what curve are you using
I dont have any good mic so is it possible to connect my headphones by AUX or USB to the laptop and use the mic that way?
@ronskuniemi4473 no
Can you remake this video? I can't see your operation screen!
Interesting that YT says the video was posted a couple hours ago, but the comments are several years old. 🤷
Simple - it wasn't publicly released before. Most likely something that was exclusive to his clients.
