Dinky Toys n°641 Army 1 Ton Cargo Truck Diecast Restoration (DMC Challenge November 23)

An almost 70 year old army truck is restored for the Diecast and Modellers Community Challenge.

Great job again. I wonder why don’t you use the air brush for applying the color paint instead of paint cans?

Thanks! It depends on whether I can get the right colour straight from the can or need to mix. In this case the olive green from the can was close enough.

nice one,Johan.forgot this had a canopy,my one is a troop carrier with some soldiers sitting in the back!

Thanks! Yes, it has holes for the soldiers. Don't know if it once had soldiers or not. But those are not available as spare parts anyway. So, I had to go for the canopy.
