Terrific colour and finish!

Thank you so much for showing the details of the pens, paints and supplies that you use and the detailed processes. This approach makes you one of my new favourite video watches. Really helpful. A fantastic result.

Great restoration Johan, with the added details. However the Majorette version of the Jaguar XJ6 was never really my favorite. I prefer the Matchbox version. The dimensions seems a bit off to me on the Majorette version, where the Matchbox version is better. And the base on the Majorette seems so high. I guess it has something to do with the active suspension. If I remember correctly this was the 90s era when most Manorette still had metal bases. But the quality was not the same as 10-20 years earlier. The quality was far better in the 70s and 80s. In my opinion the 90s was sort of a pivoting point or period for Manorette (as for many other diecast manufacturers going from metal bases to plastic). The quality was never the same for Majorette, Matchbox Siku among others after the 90s, when they all turned to plastic bases. Besides I’m not quite the fan of the larger scale Majorette and Siku does compares to Matchbox and Hot Wheels. I am glad though that Hot Wheels have kept metal bases for the premium lines and rubber tires. Now we just need to get Matchbox and the Majorette and Siku to do the same for their premium lines

I like that. Good factory colour for Jaguar, if not Majorette. I really don't like the go-faster wheels, so would have changed thise and given the steering wheel a black rim, but what a terrific job you made of it - a proper rescue!
