Today we'll be making some good ol' fashioned Tater Soup that's loaded with bacon and cheese. This is a quick easy one pot meal for busy weeknight and cold winter days. Your family will love it!

Ingredients:
4 potatoes
4+ strips bacon
1 large onion
3 or 4 tablespoons of real butter
3 to 4 cups milk
1+ cups shredded cheese
1/2+ cup sour cream
salt & pepper to taste

Thank you SO very much for the hope reminder. It was just meant to be for me to find this video today. I just lost my baby brother 9 days ago to a blood clot & he was only 53. I’ve always put celery in mine I just use potatoes that I cut into bite size pieces and I put broccoli and carrots in also . But definitely I’m going to try your recipe looks creamy and delicious I also just use evaporated can milk.

Walmart has bacon grease in tubs! I found it on an upper shelf in the baking aisle. I mostly buy precooked bacon so I don't have to fiddle with the hot grease. Plus I only have a couple of slices a few times a week. And I don't , won't use seed oils. In Maine, evaporated milk is a staple. Old school, for coffee creamer. A lot of upset people when the local grocery stores stopped stocking it by the coffee!

I do use microwave potatoes alot, But My grandmother French would fry Up the potatoes cause they already done she just fried them until there brown, and she mashed a tater or two In there as well ❤❤❤❤

You don’t have to poke holes in the potatoes….. use a zip lock bag gallon size making sure the potatoes are around same size… 4 baking potatoes… set microwave on potatoes start….

I just heard those folks in NC living in tents and RV's are being moved to apartments. Is it True??
Would be nice to hear if this is true. Heard that apartments and rentals, even air bnb's were in short supply and very expensive because they are all filled and ones available were far away. Most want to stay near their communities, schools, ect. Heard Fema couldn't bring in trailers because there wasn't water, sewage hookups or land available, idk but heard that. Yet they brought them in for theirselves to help sign people up? Many prayers to all. -John's wife
