  • Yes, breastfeeding is often about supply and demand.
    But that doesn’t mean we can’t do things to help improve our overall well-being, energy and potentially support milk supply.
    ❓ Simply put - electrolytes are minerals to are essential for the functions of the body, including fluid balance, nerve function and muscle contraction.
    🍹 Electrolytes can be found in many food sources - including water, coconuts, bananas and more.
    🤱🏼 With breastfeeding, there is a higher demand for hydration and electrolyte replenishment, and some moms find it harder to keep up with just food sources.
    📕 While there’s not a lot (if any) research on the importance of minerals for breastfeeding, many mothers report a positive impact on their wellness and sometimes supply.
