    My biggest advice for young people out there (16-25yo), please don't waste your time. There is no big secret or formula, there are no concrete steps for success or "only if I knew this" process. If you want to achieve something you just have to go out there and DO IT. I wish there was a better more beautiful answer, but that is just how it works.
    At the end, everyone builds their own path. Usually through hard work and perseverance, just like Tai is doing by selling his content, which involves his actions, time, and effort.
    Truth is, you never actually "make it", you never actually arrive or finish because life always continues once we achieve our goals. Something important I realized is that: The journey is the destination.
    And believe me when I say...
    You only achieve by doing
    You learn by failing
    And you only grow by persevering.
    Anything else, are just words.

      crangel21 Thank you so much for this advice! 😊 I am about to turn 25 years old and I've been hesitating whether or not to go back to school. Well, your comment is one more statement that is making me take the decision to get an education and acquire more skills and abilities as my "secret formula". Take care.

    Agreed. Current status on the good life scale is ZERO. I did have all 4 in balance at one point in my life and now it is completely out of whack. I was smoking a cigarette while I was listening to this video and as soon as I got to my destination I crushed the remainder of the pack and threw it in the garbage. I had quit for a few years but I slowly started up again. Your video helped me win today, a huge win for my health. Thank you Tai!

    Thank you for this Tai. I pray that people humble themselves to this video and your advice. It takes humbleness to receive this advice but if received you will not walk through your days angry anymore. I live in New York where everyone is so flustered, where everyone is chasing money. But try telling someone to stop chasing money and chase what they are passion about, their true dream and visions and you will get scolded or laughed at. If someone gave you all of the money in the world...what would you do everyday? Chase that! & as Tai explained don't chase the YOLO. Chase your GIFT.

    I'm 19 and I have no idea what i'm "passionate" about in life. I'm NOT afraid to work hard. I'm afraid of regret; the regret of not doing what i truly enjoy and believe in. I'm so lost right now, i feel useless. Until i find out what i truly want to do, i'm going to have to just study hard in university...

    • @lilgrassjelly
      @lilgrassjelly 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I may not know you but I must thank you for your honest opinion. I've never thought about it in that perspective. Thanks again for giving me a place to start!

    • @tonynguyen8166
      @tonynguyen8166 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      What you should be doing is understanding how the topics can be applicable in real life rather than studying hard. A person can have an A in math(from just memorizing formulas/theorems) but doesn't understand anything and another person can have a B+(they've made minor mistakes but they understand how these formulas/rules act in our daily lives). Point is universities give you stuff you can use to get to your goal, it's whether or not you paid enough attention to deeply understand it. Enjoyment can change over time, so don't rely on that. If you have a drive that is all you need in life.

      Good luck. First you have to do any kind of thing then you will more realise what you like, what you want and dont want. I started first with informatic-economics than 2 years later changed to corporate-economics, now i do my own shit with that knowledge and meanwhile i got more ideas than physical strength to work those out and im working 80-120h/week. It's easy, just start with aaanything then you'll see further =)

    Yes, so true. I thought this guy was just a BSer at first. But I'm open-minded and figured I could learn something from him and everyone - even ppl you don't agree with. Either way, this guy has surprised me. He seems like a genuine, real, down-to-earth human. He's very real. And zero BS. Unlike, like, everyone else. So many ppl BS. And just go with the flow and say what makes their families or communities feel better. I like that he says real shit that could upset ppl, not for the sake of upsetting ppl but for the sake of acknowledging reality and calling things out. Most ppl are unhappy but keep others and their ideas around them happy. It's a BS game. Break the game.

    I've listened to many motivational speakers and one thing in common with a lot of their speeches was that you need to figure out "why" you do what you do, what motivates you, what drives you, and for the longest time I feel like I knew what it was but couldn't envision it or really put it into words. I think what that "why" is is may be exactly what you kept repeating in this video. "Living the good life", it's that simple.

I can inspire my students with wisdom that doesn’t end when they walk out of the school doors and graduate, but wisdom that will last forever, wisdom that will help them build their own version of the good life.

    I LOVE THIS VIDEO TO DEATH!!! This totally changed my perception on life as a whole. I'm currently 18 and I didn't go to college right away like most of my friends because I needed to take time off to analyze my whole life...what do I want to do, what is something I'll live for. The ironic part is, is that everything I want to do isn't even what was suggested to me by many people. So Tai, I have a lot of respect for you in this video, I don't care how many people say how cocky you are, from what I see, you're not cocky at all in my opinion. This video is at the top of my favorite videos, for real. Thankyou so much, you've taught me so much in this video.

    One of the persons I most admire is a young man who's 40 years old and, so far, managed to make 1 million dollars, that's his Net Worth. But with that money he retired from his job, he's debt-free! lives in a decent house, gets up late every day, does a little work for fun, then reads, watches movies, goes out, travels, etc. And he's set for life because he doesn't have cash, he has a lot of small rental properties and enjoys a little perfect life, worry free and happy! and all that by the age of 40 and with only 1 million dollar worth of assets. Why do you need a billion! or Ferrari or a manor, but mostly why would you sacrifice more years of your life trying to get dirty rich, money doesn't give you happiness after certain point. I rather have freedom and time to do what I want, when I want it.

    I'm 18 years old Thank you so much for this video I don't really exactly know what I want to do with my life I want a good happy life thought, I have many interest, many of the people I know are at university which used to make me sad because I was only going to community college even tho I could possibly transfer I don't think I want rondo that I don't think university will help me find myself and what I want to do, but I do really like community college because it is affordable and I can learn different things and learn more about thinks I like. I'm glad I'm not stuck in the way of thinking that you should do what makes you unhappy now so you can be happy in the future. Thank you so much your so inspiring.

      Higher IQ people have lower happiness in their lives. It's probably because they see all the flaws and dumb people around them and it's frustrating to live in a world like that.

      The reason some people might not want to optimize their own life to live a good life is that they feel like they have the potential to change many other people's lives for the better, so they sacrifice their own well-being in order to serve/help others live much better lives. It's a trade off. Why be selfish and live a good life yourself, if you had the ability to create better lives for millions of people for generations to come?

    I had to pause this video just 2 minutes in. To give thanks. If I were born in 82 instead of 92, I'd be at the mercy of my social circle and my environment. Which would've lacked the proper role models, mentors etc. Thankfully, I'm here now. And I have access to pep talks like the one in this video. From someone who has "made it" and is successful by many measures. To take this kind of perspective for granted is foolish. Those who achieve success and share their perspective should be met with gratitude and receptiveness, whether you agree with certain aspects of them or not.
    So thanks, Tai.

    I am a simple woman, one who keeps pushing forward. I spent my 20's doing the wrong things, but at almost 40, I'm setting different goals. I am ready for happiness and ready to no longer struggle. I love the simplest blessings, and grasp my weaknesses and build them to strengths. It's a daily challenge, but I'm never giving up hope ❤

    This was one of the best self guidance videos I have seen on TH-cam Tai! You pointed out every aspect of what life really is about! I'm sitting at work in Sweden, in the middle of the night and was just about to head home, instead I stumbled over your video and was kind of stuck. This was some Mr. Miyagi-style! Like in the interview with Mark Cuban, you spoke about; it takes only one book that may change your life, this is on the same level as that, and almost in one take, haha that's crazy! Anyway this was a gamechanger and I loved every part of it. I agree with everything you put out there, life is more beautiful and joyable if you optimize your life after what your body, mind and soul needs! Don't settle when it comes to your happiness and who you want to be! Thanks for all the free content that you and everybody else who delivers this kind of guidance are making. It's changing the world we live in and peoples lives! God speed and let's optimize the shit of ourselves!

    Been watching Tai videos for a couple of days now. I'll be honest, a couple of years ago when I first saw the Lamborghini video, me and my friends made fun of it, for a long time, then we saw other youtube videos of people also making fun of it. Since then I haven't subscribed to any channels or bought any programs because I'm a skeptical person in general but I do see why Tai Lopez is a thing and I do see how most of the content is factual and applies to real life, especially to people of my generation. I'm 33 with an MBA and work experience at a global brand, from a family who owns a small company. Whether or not the content is purely to make him money is a different story, there are still some important points people should really listen to.
    There's a few things I want to comment on: Firstly just like other vloggers, motivational speakers, millionaires, or entrepreneurs, there are tens of videos that go for hours that talk theory, stories, visuals, advice, but no actual instructions. And I'm not surprised because then why would you buy the programs, but that's business so it's understandable. But also, just like this video and a few others, it is mentioned that the main intention is to help. Tai and others say they are doing these videos for people who need help. I really believe if there was an added element of practicality to these videos, it wouldn't harm the business plan. Why aren't you more practical on whether or not specific types of people can make money this way? Don't only talk about people who are going to attend school, talk about people who already made the mistake, who had misguided parents like yourself. Those who already graduated, spent a ton of money, are already in debt, worked for years and basically spent all the money they could have put in to start something. Those who missed the booming e-commerce window. Those who missed out on mastering a skill because they were guided to spend all their time and money trying to pass college courses under pressure because heaven was promised to them, and when they finally succeeded in doing that, they come out through the other side and saw the market was saturated and the economy was dying. Those are the people who really need the help. Hope too (which you do promote and that's good), but also help. And sometimes help can be just by making it clear in the videos that those people don't actually have as much of a fair chance now following this advice as they would have say when you started, and that maybe they would be better off spending a few years mastering software skills in case that's where the world is headed, and I don't mean opening a new instagram account to post photos of their food praying to somehow be noticed and get traffic, or buying instagram followers.
    Another thing I would love to see a video on whether from Tai, who coincidentally lives in Cali, Cardone in Miami, or Gary Vee who admits he was lucky his parents were one of the few who had the chances to move to the USA from Belarus, and several other entrepreneurs from the States, is maybe some content on a very large number of people who because of legal, geographical, and immigration reasons never had the chance and never will. Not only back then, but at a time and age where leaders of the world are trying to build walls (I'm not Mexican btw) and/or tightening residency measures for skilled people which is causing their deportation. And I'm talking about college graduates from that same country who have been working for years and paying taxes and suddenly don't have the chance anymore. I've noticed this is a topic that has been clearly ignored and you ask for facts in this video, but I think google can definitely show facts as to how many of the 7.3 billion people in the world don't live in America, and how many of those either don't live in Europe or just not in the EU area, like Gary Vaynerchuk's parents at one time. I think these people deserve a video too. Just to give some perspective, I am writing this comment from the USA where part of my family lives, a place where I would not be able to get a part time job even if I wanted to as an MBA holder from the England, who speaks 4 languages and has years of work experience. And the reason I wouldn't be able is because a company can't sponsor me for a part-time job and I would have to wait for years to get a work permit. I believe some people are more privileged than others even at entrepreneurship level, regardless of hard work, I'm talking ceteris paribus and I want to stress on that. Those people might need a different strategy and this should be made clear by motivators like yourself because of the amount of people who follow you (well done to you) and because a main theme I've noticed in videos is the failed education system which I agree with you on obviously, but if you don't make these points clear then you would be selling dreams to a large amount of people, just like the school system.
    I wouldn't challenge you to a 1 to 1 debate, mostly because I would admit you're probably better-read than myself maybe because I was too focused on reading college books absent-mindedly. But I also do believe there are thousands of people out there who need help and guidance, who would love to apply everything you're saying with every last penny they have, but even if they did and even if everything you were saying was legit (as I said, you make really good points), they still cannot apply it for reasons beyond them. And maybe they would've been able to 10 years ago or more, but not today, and this needs to be made clear if the intention really is to help.
