Nice video Bryan, I bought the Adam’s 9H ceramic coating kit for my F150’s son last week. It will be my first ceramic coating application, I have to do all the preparation first, probably 3 days of detailing !! Great project for me.
You are better than me because you have invested the time to learn the products and process.😁 I'm surprised no one mentioned the truck behind you. Would love to see a video on that. Thanks again, Brian.
I just completed my first ceramic coating job this weekend. Gtechniq csl/exov4 it was intimidating but took my time and the results were fantastic. And I can give credit to Brian for videos like this to help me along!
awesome video, and lmao the ending killed me once you started the don't bother products haha. Keep up the great work brother. I love your content. Always love from Lasting Impression Mobile Detailing ✌.
That’s impressive to say the least. I’ve used Goof Off twice and that stuff is too strong, it will ruin most surfaces and to the point that it will eat plastics. Needless to say I’ll never use Goof Off on anything again. That coating truly is offering some serious protection
Thanks again Brian for a fantastic review. I am really impressed with the thickness of this coating being about 0.4 mil or about 10 microns. This seems to me to be substantially thicker than the typical 1 - 2 micron thicknesses that I see of other ceramic coatings. Do you think that a thicker coating like this might be more scratch resistant as a thicker sacrificial layer to protect the clearcoat? I don't know how the hardness of this coating might compare to others in resisting scratches.
Brian I love your content and unbiased opinions...very thorough! Subd and notifications on! Can you please review Rupes uno protect Aio please? There's like 2 reviews up for it. I would love a detailed review. Thank you Brian
I always wonder how much the durability of a coating increases on a car that never sees rain, dew, snow or salt and dust gets blown off with compressed air. When I do maintenance on the coating it usually is with polish angel spritz. It’s a 3-5 year coating for a daily driver.
$1 per pipette. The coating costs $150. The time to prep and apply makes that $150 seem like nothing. I'm sure he goes through pipettes like he goes through microfiber towles. www.amazon.com/Transfer-LEOBRO-Graduated-Essential-Laboratory/dp/B07VWP3HT5/ref=mp_s_a_1_6?dchild=1&keywords=glass+pipette&qid=1589596702&sprefix=glass+pipett&sr=8-6
Btw the Last Coat V2, Its not suitable for protecting headlights from fading again after you sanded and polished them. now like a few months later the headlights start to fade again already. Its a paint sealant and should provide protection for at least 6 months before you need to reapply right? or can we conclude paint sealants are not a good solution to protect headlights from fading or hazing up again? then what is the best way to make sure they stay clear? Thanks Brian
For longevity you can use a ceramic coating or a clear coat paint that is suitable for plastic. I’m going with Optimum’s Clear Coat Restorer on my next set which is a liquid self leveling clear coat. Brian has videos using a spray can clear and also the Optimum product. If you read reviews the dedicated headlight protectants don’t last very long. I’d skip those.
Use Meguiars Wash Plus and we will see how durable those coatings are. The most coatings are safe against chemicals but what about light abrasive stuff like the Wash Plus? Here almost every coating fails the test.

Brian I put Opti Coat Pro Plus on my car 8 months ago. I wash it every weekend. It is a daily driver that is not garaged and is exposed to dew and rain from Oct to May in Northern CA. Water sports are the issue, not bad mind you, but I see them each weekend when I dry the car with TW Wet Wax. Can I have this graphene put on the Opti Coat Pro Plus without doing a paint correction to prevent future water spotting? I've heard you can't put anything on OPTI because it will shed anything within a few days or weeks. But since I heard Graphene is much more resistant to water spots, I wanted to give it a try if you think it is worth it. Would you recommend they do a single stage prior to applying it?

What’s amazing is that Meguiar has so many products in detailing for professionals yet they don’t have coatings like this
