Very good info. Much appreciated.
I actually came here to see the struggle lol because i was afraid to break my cap. But thank you for this video anyways!
Thanks for this video. Was wicked straight forward as others said. I was able to do this job in 15 mins for both sides. Thanks again for the advice! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
How do you put the mirror back on?
can i reach the screws that are holding the side mirror? my mirror is loose and needs to be tightened.
i’m unable to access those screws by removing inside door piece
Not sure there.
you need to remove the bottom plastic cap. Fold the mirror backwards (opposite as he did in the video). You will see a clip you can press with a tool (i recommend plastic pick, or metal pick with electric tape wrapped around it). You will still want to use a plastic pry tool and help work around the bottom plastic piece to help detach it. There are x3 screws to tighten. It might be difficult with normal straight screw drivers (unless you don't mind dinging up your paint). You would want to use some type of 90 degree screw driver ( got mine from Amsoil) and just tighten the bottom x3 screws as best as you can.
End result is cool but I’d be afraid of taking off my mirror like that
yo will they restock with the same discount price ?? please i’m in need, my paint is extremely chipped on one of the sides
No longer work for them. Not sure.
Are the wires welded to the mirror or plugged in? thx
Plugged in if not mistaken.
@@BoostedWhipzHow do you re-install the mirror? It's the last step you left out of your video.😅😅
1/22/2024 2pm only thing I didn't like about video is not showing re-install of mirror.
