Iv wanted to LS swap for probably 2 years and have just been waiting for more info since everyone has an opinion and a lot of “well this should work” ideas. Thanks to Sikky I’m looking at seriously doing it now
Yeah found another trick too I will share in a future video that makes it way easier than the way it was done in this video. Thanks for the tip though!
That's a tough one! The FD is just a badass car period but the FRS feels more OEM with the LS in it. Tough call, if you can find an FD I'd go that route but FRS is a close second.
how much did this all cost, must of been expensive. I suppose doing it on your own helped. Would love to do this, but its just getting a good idea of the parts needed and installing it myself would be a great option. No way I can do what you do did.
I was really hoping James would've done a Lamborghini Tooth Pull. Tie some strong rope through the holes to the back of on of the (working) cars and fuckin send it lmao. Love the videos still. Always happy to see the notification that a new one is uploaded.
@@SikkyTV with how long it took you even using the air hammer I bet it would've pulled the car, and the bushing still would've been set exactly where it was. Damn thing seemed welded in place! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time you were using the air hammer, knowing that when I do my build I'm gonna have to source one now.

Great! Glad we could help
Hello can you please do the rest of the videos on finishing this ls swap?? Thank you :)
Yes, we are working on it!
Safety squints fully engaged
🤣🤣🤣
I cant stop watching
This is a perfect video for me as my new frs I got has rear diff issues. I’m ready to swap it to LS power soon! Keep it up James!
Awesome! Yeah we were amazed at how worn out the factory bushings were. Definitely will make a big difference
Are you guys going to continue with this series?
YEs, editing several episodes now
to help get the bushing out you can also us a drill and sharp bit, make a bunch of holes in the rubber to break it up - smile

Can't wait to see the results!
Getting close !!!
@@SikkyTV awesome! Super excited to see the results! Loved the teaser.
Hahaha nice. A man of culture with the memes 😂. Amazing video!
Thanks!
What happen? no more videos on this???
There coming!
@@SikkyTVi’m still waiting
Where is part 8???
Been 5 months
editing the next couple episodes now
Think this swap will work on the gen 2, gr86/brz? i want this. need more power. Im also already at 50k and want to plan ahead.
Will you guys be making a y pipe for the swap? That would be sick
No not at the moment unfortunately
How much power are these rears hood for and what are they called? Ie 9”, 10 bolt etc.
Will you making an LT version of the swap kit? I've got an L83 ready to go.
It’s been on our list for all our kits to do LT versions but not yet.
Sikky, which one do you prefer rx7 fd or frs?

fantastic engineering
Thank you!

Depends on a lot of factors. Even doing all your own labor it can easily cost over 20k

Lmao I actually thought about that then decided I would likely pull the whole damn car off the lift 🤣🤣🤣

Silky needs a safety manager, bad.
