    The BMW X3 looks like low budget car near the F Pace. The interior and exterior are so much better on the Jag.

      I think the reviewer doesn't like the extra "luxury" and "brand heritage" value from Jaguar brand, so when it compares to a more "economic" brand like bmw, it doesn't justify the price. but again I fully understand that, these extra characters require brand marketing to maintain. Jaguar is more on the luxury vintage sport car segment, efficiency and spacious are not quite the key points. If we look at Maserati or Bentley they're all very expensive for fuel economy and not necessarily fast either.

    • @uncois
      @uncois ปีที่แล้ว

      Also I think the Jaguar price position got a problem, when compare to the BMW Merc and Audi, it is more expensive and slower. The problem is right here, Jaguar is selling not expensive enough. Like if you compare a Bentley Bentayga to BMW X5, it is also more expensive and slower, similar space, why would people buy the Bentayga? However there price range is totally different, Bentley is more about brand heritage , luxury, and social status.

    After owning a large number of cars and many different brands over the last 50 years, my 2018 20D (diesel) is the simply the best car I have owned. It's not quick but very economical and virtually trouble free after 165,000KM. No car I have ever owned can put the miles away like this Jag. An 11 hour day in this car is nothing. It simply makes the horizon get closer in great comfort. As it is a bit long in the tooth as they say, my beloved 2018 will now be replaced with a 2025 P400 with the new inline 6. Its anywhere near as good as the 2018, it will likley be the last car I ever buy. In comparison the BMW X3 does notr as well, is full of black plastic and getting service on a BMW is always an issue so I will take the Jag every time.

    Very accurate review, got my P400 3 month ago (2000km on clock)
    Honestly, bit dissapointed.
    It's really jerky in traffics, gearbox often does unnessesary downshifts no matter of modes you choose - really ennoying.
    Acceleration pedal must be used really gentle, otherwise it goes wild and accelerates faster than you desire... another jerkyness.
    Infotainment also lags, lazy to response in general.
    Android auto often loses contact and has to be switched off and on to regain accsess. (Has not checked apple carplay yet)
    Meridian sound system - meh :( not giving premium feelings you expect from such expensive car.
    Steering wheel controls - ennoying ! beautifull but also with lag - sometimes you have to push same button 2 times, because very often first command is missed for some unknown reasons. Happens pretty often.
    And last ennoying thing is fuel consuption.
    Pros : Cool design,premium interior feel, powerfull engine. Really great sound isollation. And of course cornering - car goes through corners like a sports car which worth mentioning.

      @qasra1 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@timt8236 Honestly slightly i got used to it and it doesnot bother me as much as from begining. Fuel consumption is around 14-15 litres in city. Infotainment still suck, lags, android auto needs to be recconected prety often. And streering wheel button controlls still drive me crazy. Voice comands are also terrible. Sometimes works sometimes just deaf. Such premium car should not have those kind of bugs. But driving experice really improved. Its either me - got used to it, or i learned how to drive it gentle and comfortable, or car learned how to behave correctly after 7k miles.

    The F-Pace is basically a Range Rover Velar in different clothes. Neither model sell particularly well but the Velar, to me, is by far the most attractive proposition. Is either model worth the money? Certainly not, even if you ignore the horrendous running costs and statistically poor reliability.

      I've had two, a 3.0D for about 18 months and the SVR for about 2.5 years. The only issue I've had is the bonnet microswitch on the SVR which was replace under warranty. Things do go wrong with them, the same things that go wrong on most brands, but it seems when it happens to a JLR product it's because it's a JLR product.
