    This is the new @Creality3D #Ender3 Max Neo. Has a lot of standard features. 32bit Silent Board, Dual Z Steppers, 300*300*320 build area. 4.3 Inch color control knob display, filament runout detection, power loss recovery, and CR Touch leveling. However, how will this new printer perform?
    【CR Touch Automatic Leveling】:Equipped with CR Touch, the 16-point automatic leveling can complete quickly with compensation for points' printing height on the heat bed. Good efficiency saves much time.
    【High-precision Dual Z-axis】:With a Z-axis dual-screw+Z-axis dual-motor design, Ender-3 S1 works smoother and more synchronously to lower the possibility of lines and ridges on the sides of your print, thus improving the printing quality.
    【Upgrade Red Metal Extruder & Low-noise Design】:The new upgraded extruder without pneumatic joint has high gear density, feed-in smoothly, greatly improving the performance of printer; and the brand-new 32-bit silent mainboard runs at low decibel levels, greatly reducing noise to let you enjoy your printing.
    【300 x 300 x 320mm Large Build Volume】:With the 300 x 300 x 320mm Large Build Volume and an open print chamber, you'll be able to print large 3D models with ease, or you can print several small models at the same time on the large build surface.
    【Power Loss Recovery and Filament Sensor】:Ender-3 Max Neo features the function of detecting filament runout or breakage/power loss and resume printing after recovery. By accurately recording the printing data at the time of power outage/filament runout or breakage, it helps to avoid the waste of filaments and time caused by accidents.

      Yeah, I started to over think what the issue could be. Luckily it was a very simple fix. These printer manufacturers always post videos, assemble, load filament, then print! I thought about talking about the Ender 3 forest of printers. I figured someone else can go down the rabbit hole with their review 😂😂

    If you throw the glass bed in the freezer for 5 minutes it will usually release the print. I did a very large 210x200mm print on my Ender 3 Neo and it popped right off.

    One tip I have for getting prints off of the creality glass is to take the entire glass plate off the bed and put it in a freezer for 5 minutes. This causes the glass to shrink slightly. The prints usually come off without a problem.
    I have noticed inconsistencies in the glass. I have 2 Ender 3 v2s. One of them sticks really well and the other has bed adhesion issues. I wonder if they use different recipes for the carborundum glass or something.

    • @TripodsGarage
      @TripodsGarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, I have used the freezer, and under cold method over the years. However, this print finished at 11pm, and the print wasn’t removed until 9am. With my other glass beds these prints would have fallen off. I am with you, there are inconsistencies with the production of the glass. I cleaned the glass thoroughly, and it still feels sticky.

    Umm 3d printing 101, you ALWAYS check the tensions all around when assembling a machine. How did you even miss that??

    • @TripodsGarage
      @TripodsGarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      Does it say to check it in the manual?

    • @janosmegyeri1473
      @janosmegyeri1473 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TripodsGarage It doesn't have to, there are manufacturing tolerance, assembly tolerances, hell you picking up the printer from the box can cause things to come loss. Proper assembly always includes checking everything, and that 100% includes making sure everything is squared, all screws are tightened, checking belt tensions, the eccentric nuts on the wheels..etc. Did you check any of those? It seems kinda stupid to say the review would have been better if it wasn't for one screw being loss when you properly check these things out.

    • @TripodsGarage
      @TripodsGarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@janosmegyeri1473 - Oh! So I am to do things that are not listed in the manual? Got it! Why? Because because this is 3D Printing 101! Is there a 3D Printing 101 course? Is that course included with every 3D printer that is purchased for all the new people? If it says to check the eccentric nuts, then they are checked, if it says to level the bed with the leveling knobs, then that is done. If it doesn’t say to check extruder tension, then it doesn’t happen. You know why? Because “it isn’t in the manual!”. This is exactly what is wrong with these responses. People with experience belittle others that do not. You do all this things listed because you have experience with 3D printers. Yet, you cannot go back down to the level of somebody that doesn’t know one little thing about them. Am I going to unpack a inkjet printer and checks the belts for tension if it isn’t in the manual?
      Maybe manufacturers should have a tuning guide? Or a checklist like with what you are saying? Now that would be a step in the right direction for newbs! Pleasure trolling with you, have a frosty beverage and have a relaxing rest of your Friday!

      @@TripodsGarage Wow dude, chill out. My initial comment was sincere, I was surprised it didn't get caught during setup, but then you have to come back with a snarky remark like does it say to check it in the manual so ya, I;m gonna call you out on it. You say "People with experience belittling other that do not" but you are a content creator with nearly 20k subscribers, and over 100 vidoes, you have experience man.
      That is exactly why I called you on it bro, because you aren't the person "back down to the level of somebody that doesn't know..". If you were new, I would have taken that as a teaching moment to provide some tips when assembling a 3D printer, but you clearly are not new.
      -peace

    • @TripodsGarage
      @TripodsGarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@janosmegyeri1473 No, this was a belittling comment. You claim this is "3D Printing 101" to check all the nuts bolts, tensions. Again, where is this 3D Printing 101? You 3D Printing 101 comes from experience and nothing more. All these manufactures are now claiming 15min or less setup times. Then you are off and printing. It says absolutely nowhere in the manual to adjust the extruder tensioner, or why would you even need to. All that is needed is to have a checklist with what to check, and explaining what does what. I could have easily just let the failures be, and post the video as is. You are right, I have 20k subs and experience, and try to hold myself to higher standards with my content. I show most of the assembly process, explain parts, go through settings, results, pros and cons. I just don't have an assembled printer sitting next to me, and showing off printing parts then call it a day. I decided to see what the issue might be, and recorded my findings. I will correct you, this was a teaching moment.
      People need to start holding these manufactures to a higher standard of documentation and accountability, and not let the community pass the buck for them. There is a reason why all these manufactures ask people to join their Facebook Groups, so the community can be their free tech support. I see it all the time, someone posts a part that breaks, people say "by a replacement, or a new upgraded part, it will take too long for them to send you a replacement". Instead of having them go through the manufacture, and get a replacement under warranty. I never see this behavior on Facebook Groups for people that buy new vehicles. Why should this be any different?
      Now with all that being said. I will actually take your comment under advisement. And will be more aware to my targeted audience. The only thing I ask from you, is to hold other content creators and manufactures to that standard as well. I put a lot of effort into my content, and try "not to do" what everyone else does with my content and show more. Now, I cannot remember everything, and I am trying to shorten my videos to under 13min.
      Enjoy your weekend!

    Has to be something with your settings, setup, or filament, I've seen several videos on this printer and all the prints turned out beautiful except maybe a lil ghosting but nothing bad. On the video that the prints looked beautiful before the first print he adjusted all the rollers, belts and then leveled the bed. He also changed several setting in the software "Cura" that he was using. The changes he made definitely worked for the better.
