actually few decades ago when dawn of war and other warhammer based games came out then khorne was the main villain god and back in those days it bothers me because there are other cool gods ie nurgle and tzeentch. But i admit nurgle is pretty busted as we saw in the warhammer shows.

Especially because you could easily swap her out for another Stormcast and the whole her being a champion of Allarielle who was stolen has a better angle. Plus there’s nothing wrong with her having a more traditional origin of being orphan child taken in by Sylvaneth and wanting revenge on Nurgle. I get the argument they’re trying to make but why would Sigmar make an unrepentant Chaos Lord a Stormcast? It just seems too problematic and passing up other genuine heroes comes across as silly.
I get they've bashed torglug/torvus (a champion of nurgle who became a stormcast) as a retcon for blacktalon, but im glad they have as it will make this a more accessable avenue for Age of sigmar. Just annoys me its not on amazon

Basically when you look at the backstory and lore of each universe, paying attention to Sigmar’s twin-tail comet, his net effect on civilization, mysterious exits, collapse of society, followed with deification by his followers, even though the canon clearly states WH & WH40k are separate, it is logical to extrapolate that he was one of the Primarchs. Operating off of the premise of that possibility leads us to this very spicy potential- In 40k we have a view of the universe from the top down, the grand scheme of things, the entire universe. In WH we have a view of the of the universe from the bottom-up perspective of what happens on an individual planet after the Emperor picked his kid up. The two universes can be seen as a duality of each other, having a fractal relationship, ying vs Yang, micro vs macro , small vs big which interestingly enough, very much fits with the major influence Michael Moorcock, and his Chaos/Order, did have on the game designers and the philosophy of WH40k & WH universes.
Honestly, I remember that actually once being a pretty big theory but eventually it disappeared as more stuff came out and the fact a lot of people heavily disliked AoS for a while; and your thought actually makes a lot of sense if you wanna look at it in a certain way, and it's not even that impossible either as if you wanna take it a step further, Space marine geneseed is stated to basically be a continuation of a long line of astartes since it is primarily collected from those who fall in battle... and is implanted into a new neophyte, and it also puts some elements of the original astartes/the primarch as well into the neophyte which could be a pretty interesting version of the reforging process.
Sigmar can't be one of the lost primarch for a very simple reason : he was born, normally, from a father and a mother in a barbarian tribe from the old world. He wasn't a 3 meter tall demigod who fell from the sky. He is also way too nice, competent and mentally stable to be a primarch

This might be just FB logic but Imperial State Troops leverage their own disciplined and cohesion to outperform far talented and stronger foes and had for Centuries fought with this knowledge in mind, Also Artillery where are they? they brought a combined force and not a single cannon.
Also the stormcast ballistas on the floating island that, technically, are manned, but shhhhhhhh, Nurgle cool, gonna give nurgle the win, being baambozled only because 4 guys went ahead and fooled his plans, otherwise, it would not work.

yes, forge works (mechanically) the same as tradeable, you drag them onto your deck, but forge cards come right back into your hand so you can forge a card on one turn and then use it on another turn, so a decent mana sink if youre floating 2 mana without anything you really want to play

Amazing animation. One pet peeve I always have though is when there's a battle and nobody holds formation. God tier animation but they'd definitely lose way fewer troops if they actually use tactics lol

Why not just also break the roots on the way like finally the bald dude broke the root so the trapped one can cut down enemy's head, if he's one with psyker powers, why he can even break the root and why not the other people too. Or like star war without aim assist, one can arrow down the chest but not the head? It seems ridiculous for a battle hardened ranger. Besides, it seems too much milking on nurgle. But the great unclean one on melee ?

You're overestimating State Troops. They got their asses kicked a lot in WHFB. Bretonnia had the worst infanfry in WHFB.

I like how in AoS the daemons aren’t some ethereal form that vanish in death back to the Warp. They’re real and remain after death
The realms themselves are magic so it’s hybrid reality, like the world is infused with the “warp”
