Logan was a fantastic movie that even got nominated for best adapted screenplay oscar it's gory and depressing but a great way to end that specific wolverine character.
Morena said in an interview before the movie was made that they had asked her to be in this movie, but she wasn't happy with the contract that they offered her. So, they had to negotiate for a little while. Perhaps that's why her part was scaled back as much as it was. But it was never going to be a big part because the team up of Deadpool and Wolverine was always going to be the focus.

The motivation wasn't weird, for me it was actually brilliant. The timeline dying was 20th centrury fox, and x men fantastic 4 ect. The sacred timeline was disneys marvel so it made sense.
Oh sure, that part makes sense, but the framing story was pretty weak. Luckily it doesn’t matter at all because the void story was the real story in the end 💜
I do kinda want a Deadpool & Spiderman movie. Though Ryan loves Hugh, comic Pool is obsessed with Spiderman and has hilarious adventures with the sticky one.
As someone who loves Deadpool yet has his own anti-Disney channel, let me tell you, it's nice to see you have the same opionion as me about those people. This movie probably won't save the MCU. With Agatha and Black Falcon coming up I don't have my hopes up. But damn, Deadpool and Wolverine is the best thing we've seen since the end of Phase 3.

I guess the second movie really starts the ball rolling with the idea that he wants to be part of a team, but it seems strange to me that Deadpool would ever be so dependent on other people’s opinion of him. But in the end, it doesn’t matter anyway so it’s fine 😊

Wolverine isn’t the only good thing to come out of Canada. There is the mutant team known as Alpha Flight which Logan did join in the comics after leaving Weapon X and before he joined the X-men.

I think the issue was Deadpool kind of just...languished around after the second movie's events, and she wanted him actually DO something. Because he can be pretty selfish. Doubt she expected him to do something this absurd. She was probably thinking more along the lines of him being a superhero. But we know Deadpool. He will always go 300% beyond where you expect him to.
I’m sure it’s not, it just looked real serious and dark and I don’t tend to gravitate toward that type of movie. Everyone who has seen it seems to love it.

16:28 Oh man, Loki Season 1 and Season 2 are awesome! It's definitely up there alongside X-Men '97 as one of my favourite Marvel shows. I never really understood the whole "saving the MCU" narrative. I don't think a single film can make or break an entire universe, despite those anti-woke channels online constantly crying about shows like Agatha just because it’s not catered to them. They act like the future of the MCU is doomed, Agatha has been a fun watch so far as a fan of Wandavision. It's ridiculous, like when they even complained about B-15 at 39:49 (Loki character), claiming it was part of some forced "body-positive agenda." Regardless of all that noise, I really liked this movie even though I do think there have been much better projects recently. I'd take X-Men '97 any day over Deadpool & Wolverine but it's still a really fun watch.

Yeah no offense but if u didn’t watch Logan then u wouldn’t know the significance of when X-23 came out it was big deal.. Because she was the reason why this Logan found his motivation and sought out redemption.. because Deadpool told him that Wolverine had a daughter so in his mind she is somewhat like him.. that’s why he able to show his emotion towards her around the camp fire and vent when he wouldn’t show his emotions around nobody else

I'm not sure if you're familiar with the cult sci-fi TV show Firefly and the follow up movie Serenity, but Headpool is voiced by Nathan Fillion who starred in that show and movie with Morena Baccarin. This makes the fourth MCU movie Nathan Fillion has worked on, playing a different character every time. He also starred in the TV series Two Guys and a Girl with Ryan Reynolds, and he will play Green Lantern in the new DC Cinematic Universe that James Gunn is working on. Fillion has voiced the Green Lantern in some DC animated movies, and once texted or tweeted Ryan Reynolds during one of the recording sessions a picture of Green Lantern with a caption that read something like, "You can't have him back." Fillion worked on all of the Guardians movies. In Vol. 1 he voiced the big blue alien that had Groot's fingers go up his nose, he filmed a scene in Vol. 2, but it got cut for time and he was a guard in Vol. 3. If you've not seen Firefly and the movie Serenity, I highly recommend them both.

To be honest this is nothing more but 2 hour long fan service... and I love it! This is exactly what we needed. Best Marvel experience outside Endgame if not counted Guardians of Galaxy vol 3 and The Spider-man films. I am really scared for Thunderbolt*s and Kraven the Hunter films. I am not daring to expect anything of them but man, I wish they would be at least decent...

Women seem to go thru lots of changes throughout the years. Men, not so much. It does not surprise me at all that Vanessa suddenly needed Wade to change because SHE had changed and wanted him to 'evolve' with her. Our fundamental differences tend to put strain on our relationships.
Hi. It is kinda shame that you didn't watched Logan before this. For rest of us - when Laura X-23 came out it really was big thing (even tho sadly most of us knew it from last trailer, which made it little lesser , it still was big thing, trust me). Maybe not Wesley Snipes big, but bigger than the other two. And that talk between her and Logan around the fire was really deep. Her bond to him strucked hard. I'd compare her bond to him with Rogue bond to him in first movies, maybe even bigger.

I was going to watch the reaction, but then I looked in the comment section and I change my mind. Logan was one of the best marvel films to date But to each his own
When did you tap out of Marvel? Post "Endgame," I've only found two MCU projects "bad"/disappointing/not my cup of tea -- "Secret Invasion" and "Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantamania." The vast majority of the rest have ranged from "pretty solid" to "AMAZING" ... "WandaVision," "Falcon & the Winter Soldier," "Loki" season 1, "Spider-Man: No Way Home," "Wakanda Forever" and "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3" & "Holiday Special" are in my top tier list alongside a lot of the older films like "Winter Soldier" and "Ragnarok" ("WandaVision" and "Wakanda" both make me feel actual feelings with the way they process grief, which was a big theme of Phase 4) ... while "Hawkeye," "Moon Knight" and "Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" are a blast and very actiony. (And "The Marvels" is a lot of fun despite getting review bombed by broski types, and it's post-credit scene got me pumped ... the Monica character is one of my favorite Avengers in the comics)
Let’s see, I actually didn’t love Endgame if we’re being honest. There’s a lot I would have changed but solid enough. I liked Wandavision until the end when it all kind of fell apart for me. To be fair I haven’t seen Guardians 3 or the holiday special, which I do intend to at some point. Nothing else seemed interesting to me, based on the characters or the stories. I think I just like individual stories more than the MCU as a unit, kwim?
I think you would enjoy Mad Max: Fury Road. The sheer visual spectacle and world-building and characters are all superb, even if you're not particularly into the big-vehicle-dick-measuring genre nor a prior Mad Max aficionado. (It's a soft reboot of sorts, anyway.) It truly blindsided me with how much I loved it!
Also, it takes itself pretty seriously and there are some extremely ridiculous elements if you think about them for more than half a second; hence, it is also very roastable!
I saw this at the movies with my uncle two months ago and we're both comic book nerds and he made my the nerd I am today. I felt like a kid again when I saw the cameos. It was a blessing to see Channing Tatum as Gambit since the movie got canceled. Nevertheless I hope we'll see him again as that since he looked like he was ripped from the comics. To prepare for the movie, I went to Hot Topic and bought all the merchandise. Apart from the Henry Cavill cameo, I see Scott Eastwood as Wolverine. I'm curious to know who you see as Wolverine. I'm not surprised that you're not a comic reader. Not a lot of women I knew are into comics which is sad. Lastly it's about damn time Hugh Jackman wore the mask.
I’m not against comics at all, hopefully it didn’t come across like that. I’m just more invested in film and television than I am in print media. I enjoy books but for some reason text and images together just doesn’t work with my brain. It sounds like you had a great time seeing this, and I love that you have that relationship with your uncle. It’s so nice to have family who enjoys the same stuff and you can spend time together like that 😊

@@RhetoricalThrill I did injoy the other X-men films though I did have problems with some of the changes the did in the movies, like Lady Deathstrike in X2 being a mutant & nit a Cyborg, juggernaut in Last Stand he's not a mutant, Gambit & DP in Origins: Wolverin,, the fact that Beast was the only original member from the comics in First Class & used Havoc the younger brother Cyclops making Scott the younger brother in live action; I don't even like Cyclops & I didn't like that they did that. A plus though Days of Futures Past does kind of reckon Wolverine's origin

16:28 Oh man, Loki Season 1 and Season 2 are awesome! It's definitely up there alongside X-Men '97 as one of my favourite Marvel shows. I never really understood the whole "saving the MCU" narrative. I don't think a single film can make or break an entire universe, despite those anti-woke channels online constantly crying about shows like Agatha just because it’s not catered to them. They act like the future of the MCU is doomed, Agatha has been a fun watch so far as a fan of Wandavision.
It's ridiculous, like when they even complained about B-15 at 39:49 (Loki character), claiming it was part of some forced "body-positive agenda." Regardless of all that noise, I really liked this movie even though I do think there have been much better projects recently. I'd take X-Men '97 any day over Deadpool & Wolverine but it's still a really fun watch.
I don’t care much about “saving” anything, if we’re being honest. They can make what they like. If i don’t think I’ll enjoy it, I don’t watch it. People can also criticize things as they see fit, if I don’t care about their opinion, I don’t pay attention.

I’m the same way: if something looks interesting, I’ll watch it. If not, I’ve got other things to do with my time. Also, Wolverine Origins dropped the ball, but they made it up w/ audiences in The Wolverine, Buffalo more importantly, Logan. If you like those action & fight sequences, you should go back and watch those. They were pretty good.

Yeah no offense but if u didn’t watch Logan then u wouldn’t know the significance of when X-23 came out it was big deal.. Because she was the reason why this Logan found his motivation and sought out redemption.. because Deadpool told him that Wolverine had a daughter so in his mind she is somewhat like him.. that’s why he able to show his emotion towards her around the camp fire and vent when he wouldn’t show his emotions around nobody else
I know who she is, I know the basic story, I just didn’t have any interest in the movie, so her reveal wasn’t important to me 💜

I'm not sure if you're familiar with the cult sci-fi TV show Firefly and the follow up movie Serenity, but Headpool is voiced by Nathan Fillion who starred in that show and movie with Morena Baccarin. This makes the fourth MCU movie Nathan Fillion has worked on, playing a different character every time. He also starred in the TV series Two Guys and a Girl with Ryan Reynolds, and he will play Green Lantern in the new DC Cinematic Universe that James Gunn is working on. Fillion has voiced the Green Lantern in some DC animated movies, and once texted or tweeted Ryan Reynolds during one of the recording sessions a picture of Green Lantern with a caption that read something like, "You can't have him back."
Fillion worked on all of the Guardians movies. In Vol. 1 he voiced the big blue alien that had Groot's fingers go up his nose, he filmed a scene in Vol. 2, but it got cut for time and he was a guard in Vol. 3. If you've not seen Firefly and the movie Serenity, I highly recommend them both.

To be honest this is nothing more but 2 hour long fan service... and I love it! This is exactly what we needed. Best Marvel experience outside Endgame if not counted Guardians of Galaxy vol 3 and The Spider-man films. I am really scared for Thunderbolt*s and Kraven the Hunter films. I am not daring to expect anything of them but man, I wish they would be at least decent...

Hi. It is kinda shame that you didn't watched Logan before this. For rest of us - when Laura X-23 came out it really was big thing (even tho sadly most of us knew it from last trailer, which made it little lesser , it still was big thing, trust me). Maybe not Wesley Snipes big, but bigger than the other two. And that talk between her and Logan around the fire was really deep. Her bond to him strucked hard. I'd compare her bond to him with Rogue bond to him in first movies, maybe even bigger.

When did you tap out of Marvel? Post "Endgame," I've only found two MCU projects "bad"/disappointing/not my cup of tea -- "Secret Invasion" and "Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantamania." The vast majority of the rest have ranged from "pretty solid" to "AMAZING" ... "WandaVision," "Falcon & the Winter Soldier," "Loki" season 1, "Spider-Man: No Way Home," "Wakanda Forever" and "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3" & "Holiday Special" are in my top tier list alongside a lot of the older films like "Winter Soldier" and "Ragnarok" ("WandaVision" and "Wakanda" both make me feel actual feelings with the way they process grief, which was a big theme of Phase 4) ... while "Hawkeye," "Moon Knight" and "Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" are a blast and very actiony.
(And "The Marvels" is a lot of fun despite getting review bombed by broski types, and it's post-credit scene got me pumped ... the Monica character is one of my favorite Avengers in the comics)
Let’s see, I actually didn’t love Endgame if we’re being honest. There’s a lot I would have changed but solid enough. I liked Wandavision until the end when it all kind of fell apart for me. To be fair I haven’t seen Guardians 3 or the holiday special, which I do intend to at some point.

I think you would enjoy Mad Max: Fury Road. The sheer visual spectacle and world-building and characters are all superb, even if you're not particularly into the big-vehicle-dick-measuring genre nor a prior Mad Max aficionado. (It's a soft reboot of sorts, anyway.) It truly blindsided me with how much I loved it!
Also, it takes itself pretty seriously and there are some extremely ridiculous elements if you think about them for more than half a second; hence, it is also very roastable!

I saw this at the movies with my uncle two months ago and we're both comic book nerds and he made my the nerd I am today. I felt like a kid again when I saw the cameos. It was a blessing to see Channing Tatum as Gambit since the movie got canceled. Nevertheless I hope we'll see him again as that since he looked like he was ripped from the comics. To prepare for the movie, I went to Hot Topic and bought all the merchandise. Apart from the Henry Cavill cameo, I see Scott Eastwood as Wolverine. I'm curious to know who you see as Wolverine. I'm not surprised that you're not a comic reader. Not a lot of women I knew are into comics which is sad. Lastly it's about damn time Hugh Jackman wore the mask.
I’m not against comics at all, hopefully it didn’t come across like that. I’m just more invested in film and television than I am in print media. I enjoy books but for some reason text and images together just doesn’t work with my brain.

& nit a Cyborg, juggernaut in Last Stand he's not a mutant, Gambit & DP in Origins: Wolverin,, the fact that Beast was the only original member from the comics in First Class & used Havoc the younger brother Cyclops making Scott the younger brother in live action; I don't even like Cyclops & I didn't like that they did that. A plus though Days of Futures Past does kind of reckon Wolverine's origin
