This channel helped me so much with my anxiety so far. I am a father to young kids, I am exhausted, need rest sleep, self care. This channel helps me to focus on myself, to get better, to disconnect from negative thoughts etc. I recommend this channel to everyone. No harshness, just helpful info. I use the things I learned here,(exposure, breathing excercises) on a daily basis before sleep, while driving, on work meetings, and I based my self help journey on them. honestly I feel better, and became true to myself, I have boundaries now, and I try to take myself into consideration when I have to decide. Truly helpful stuff. Everyone who tries to get better I wish you all the best! :)
Thank you. I find some chamomile or peppermint tea before bed helps. Need to be careful about meditation before bed. Many Buddhist/mindfulness based meditations (eg body/breath awareness or Metta) typically make one feel more "alert:" (at least this is what they are intended to do). That said, there are certainly lots of great "talk down" meditations for relaxation and sleep available online, many of the hypno-therapy type.
