Wow, as someone from Denmark, it kinda scares me how freaked out you were by the guns, just because I'd never even think about if they were real, and if anybody asked someone at a halloween party if their gun was real here, they would be laughed at. It kinda freaks me out and saddens me whenever I realize that guns actually are very realistic fears for people.
Unfortunately, we are having several mass shootings a week here in America. I don't even feel safe in my own home without being armed. So many of my friends and family have been robbed by people with guns. The scariest thing is, is that America is safer than A LOT of countries.
What's crazy to me is that if this was happening in another country, so many Americans would be like oh no you can't go there, it's unsafe, they have random shootings every week, you could die there. But it's happening here and half the country is just like "oh well there's nothing we can do" It's insane

in america, most of the time someone is holding a gun it's real. i've literally been at a party where someone pulled out a gun and started shooting at this other dude so like, if someone has a gun (unless they're kids, because toy guns are brightly colored and obviously fake) i have to assume it's real.
Dee it’s honestly always a fear. Anytime I go to places like movie theaters I look to where I can hide if someone starts shooting.
