It’s stressful when you wanna take a shower tho and you walk up from the blazing Sun in the morning… I just ended up sleeping in the car at night till it was time to drink n shower. But other then that yeah ur next to the festival so you can enter and re enter the camp grounds as many times and you don’t have to worry about leaving before the traffic cuz you just walk back to ur spot

I ran at Lollapalooza thinking my best friend was behind me too. Thought she felt me grab her arm and say "hey the cops are eying me because I'm a stumbling fool right now." Turned around after about 20 seconds and realized she wasn't. My phone was destroyed from the rain earlier in the day so we were lost from each other the rest of the night. She ended up meeting her husband that night and got married Lolla weekend 5 years later.
I would suggest keeping the white canopy bc white reflects the sunlight better & a black canopy would absorb more making it hotter under the canopy! so maybe just get a dark colored tapestry that you can hang above your heads to block out the light :)) a couple other things i would suggest maybe buy a portable fan to help circulate the air & they have like portable shower heads for camping that make it easier! :))

In cases like that it's so hard being the other friend bc you're only mad bc you love and care so much about them that you're angry they put themselves in danger lol.
