@@JasonBuis last time I was in the states and was able to do some fishing was in the Florida keys off the peir for Tarpon they were good fun on light gear but thanks for the offer man.
@@DavidScobie Your a totally dedicated pike angler you take the blanks well. I fish the trent alot you can go weeks without a pike...then boom you find them.
You just have to keep grinding the sessions out mate the fish will come (at least I hope so) I fished the Trent ages ago when I was based in England I enjoyed the big rivers in England I honestly miss Barbel and Chub.

As for general locations on the Erne you need to find the shoal of Roach and Bream so best advise I can give you is make friends with a match angler who can keep you up to date in all the match results because the pike won't be far away.
great video mate,, i've only just seen this ha ha, couple of fish so no blank, although i expected you to lose your phone when casting that gadget out , fk trusting that ha ha,, at least you didn't lose your ring, and ultimately your head ,, nice one
I don't trust it mate it's OK for short flicks but I'd not trust it if I was giving it the full beans cast. I tend to lob the deeper out as far as I can then let it drift or go in the river current your getting more mapped that way I do think it's a cracking gadget I use it for depths temperatures and features. The wife did good on the old Xmas gifts last year.
Seen a few people trying to unhook pike and not have the right tools ⚒️ cutting the hooks so guick and pike back in the water safe and sound good skills and respect for pike

I wouldn't have needed lodgings I'd have needed a coffin Mrs S would have had a sense of humour failure and I'd have been battered hahaha. I'm trying new things but the persuit for a Erne 35lb+ continues it's just nice to be able to put some time into my fishing last year was just so busy.
