War Thunder has 2 Olifant MBTs (MK1A and MK1B) and 3 Ratels (90, 20 and ATGM carrier). As well as an Eland 90. And like 4 Rooikats (76, 105, MTTD, and SPAA). And also the Loggim Prototype MBT.
The wyvern's engine still sounds so good after all these years.
it doesn't sound as good as when it was first released that was awesome sounding then they changed it for some reason but it was better when first released.

SA has alwasy valued mobility over protection. large open area's of land or savana open manovering the enemy of paramount. SA used this tactic to great effect in the Ahgolan wars where out APC like the ratel 90 took out enemy T55 tanks.

@@hollow_tae1016 in South African airforce had buccaneers, mirage 3, mirage f1, macchi mb 326 and cheetah (based on isreali kfir but it's modified to our spec) and lastly the Gripen. Wouldn't be good enough to have own air trees unfortunately.
@@NCSiebertdesign i was talking about low tier but now that you said that it kinda does make sense because in SA the military has the lowest budgets +debt so i guess we dont have the latest aircraft because we are short of funds or that the government doesnt think that our country will fight in any more wars

At 4:15, I think the good suspension has less to do with 'gameplay first' but actually more to do with the capabilities of the vehicle.
Just taking a look at the Casspir MRAP and other V-Shaped hull vehicles developed at the time for the SADF, generally speaking, the South Africa's had really good suspension in real life.

I got a talisman in a battle trophy for the javelin, my first free talisman in at least 4 or 5 years. So of course I had to spade it, and I actually had fun. Firestreaks at 8.3 are very strong.

See also the "Kwe-Voel" and the "Buffel" troop carrier. Both were based on Unimog chassis and delivered insane offroad capability. Designed with height to traverse grassland and savannah. V shape hulls were for mine protection. Troops in the Buffel would be quite sick from the movement when driven with anger.

It is an actuall vehicle that existed. It is build on a samag 20 (RSA cal it SAMIL 20) chassy, it is mine protected and got great off road capability

Back when I used the R3 T20 shockingly as a SPAA, I always aligned myself to fire forward or backwards to mitigate the recoil on the chassis. The YSTERVARK is a silly mess and the closest thing we have to a Bob Semple.

Made to resist mines and made from mostly unimogs but redesigned from the ground up and most of all SA military vehicles are wheeled vehicles because wheels are faster to change then tracks and also its faster lighter and can be used for multipurpose use
