I feel like the classification of this vehicle boils down to one question: Do the tracks go the whole length of the vehicle? No, they go about three quarters of the length of the vehicle. That makes it three quarters of a tank. That means it's a tan.

I had to post the same Q, its almost like his enemies are PAID to not see him. It is ridiculous. But yeah, he's exceptional at this game, really easy to make it look easy at that point.
@@matman7691 I mean from my experience, on EU servers, when you peek out from a hiding spot its bang and its all over. Here he is just standing still and nobody notices him. I did play on USA servers a couple times and i did find enemies to be easier, but the ping was high and so was PL.
I've played this game since 2013 and i guess so has Phly....with multiple 1000s of hours into this game, you have such a knowledge advantage when it comes to map layout and usual player pathing, vehicle performance on all nations, weakspots etc. that especially on lower and mid tiers, it can feel like youre playing against bots. You just begin to intuitively know how to bring yourself into extremely good situations. Top-tier is another Story though.

But there are other players on the enemy team who could be equaly or more skilled at the game (statisticaly speaking) yet they dont show it. It feels like in game Scorched Earth where you can choose your ai enemy skills and the lowest is Moron XD

@@pirig-gal Except that WoT's artillery still aren't tanks. They would be self-propelled guns as most of them lack armored, fully enclosed turrets capable of 360 degree traverse.
If it can block infantry fire and move over trenches it's a tank regardless of whatever wheels or treads that it is.

No no, it makes sense. You've got that mixed with entropy which is "it's not youre letting the cold in, it's youre letting the heat out" because you're referring to energy here.
What phly is talking about is temperature. There is only 0*K (zero Kelvin) and anything else is just warmer (or less cold) than zero kelvin. all temperatures (F, C, K) have an absolute zero at -273.15*C or 0*K or funnyUSA*F which for all scales means there is no energy at all, however anything above is relative to whatever measurement unit you're using and can be universally described as
"less cold (aka warmer) than 0*K"

I do so well with that thing especially clubbing german/american planes in Tank RB, but it's so damn ugly I hate it with a passion.
Its called a Half-Track because half of the 4 devices that move the vehicle, are tracks, and the other half are wheels. Doesn't matter how large the rear tracks are, it is still a Half-Track if it has tracks at the rear, and wheels at the front

Heavier then 18 tons, has a turret that could turn 360° and carries a gun bigger then 75mm.
That is a tank... (MBT / BT (today, we do not call it a Main Battle Tank, because we do not call out light tanks anymore...))
So, a Sd-Kfz 251/22 (with the PAK-40...) is called a HACV in modern terms. These Heavy Armament Combat Vehicles are the new TD's like those.

You basically get one? miss at that.. its going to be very tricky and down to perfect shot placement/rng of what tank you get. A single t28 that you can't hit main ammo on and you have failed.. 7 is more reasonable.

Does anyone else wonder why German vehicles in this game like the sdkfz 221 with 2.8cm gun seem to have crew standing open to fire in their turrets ,killingthevehicle if hit, yet similar vehicles like the M8 greyhound (similar open turreted light AT gun) shows no one on the gun to be shot by a single hit and thus killed.
Also it (sdkfz 221) has 2 crew yet the real 221 had the crew upped to 3 , adding a seperate gunner, once they put the 20mm gun in it. You'd assume a 28mm would get a similar crew change.
I think if we really listed the differences the Russian bias joke might not turn out to be a joke.
Instead a seemingly concerted effort to make weapons like the sdkfz 234/4 and many other vehicles, (spg and armoured trucks etc) with exposed crew easier to machine gun to death. Surely they should at least be tucked down behind the available armour of any is there.

My definition of a tank is a fully tracked armored AFV with the main armament in a rotating turret . What you have there is a half track tank destroyer .
i would specify self propelled gun rather than tank destroyer, TD is more of a role then description of mechanics and SPG usually indicates some sort of unenclosed or casemate weapon

This wouldn't technically be a tank. A tank is commonly recognized to have a fully enclosed armored turret. This would be considered a self-propelled gun or "tank destroyer" depending on what nation's different criteria you want to use.
The pak 40 is literal Sherman repellent. Or Raid for Shermans
