    99% of Van builds have same floor plan. If it's raining or snowing you cannot open the back doors without getting bed wet. A shower with no fan- during winter. The amount of condensation in the van will become an issue.

      There’s your opportunity, invent some sort of restroom exhaust fan for all the van gurus. Might be a good investment.

      Open the max air in the van. The top of the shower was vented to let it get into van

    • @jabreck1934
      @jabreck1934 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ironpig701 yes, everyone understands how they are designed.
      Most people do not want to remove all of the heat in the van when taking a shower.
      Also: The max fan is designed to automatically close when raining.(so water does not get in)
      Having a dedicated fan and heating vent in shower is far superior. Obviously

    • @ironpig701
      @ironpig701 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jabreck1934 my maxx air is designed to be used in rain. So i guess if its such a huge issue then you should market something as folks would buy it or you fail and see its not needed

    • @jabreck1934

      @@ironpig701 maxx fan is the most common. I have the same one.
      Designed to operate in the rain?
      That’s just not true. The airflow does not keep water out. That is why there is an automatic rain sensor to close the fan.
      Even the dedicated fan in the shower lets a little water in but, it goes right on the shower pan.
      10 years, full-time, in every kind of weather,

      Hi, the shower has L-track installed in it that allows you to connect all sorts of items to it, including a cloths line. No fan for the shower, it has a vent grill across the top that allows it to vent and then the main cabin fan can help to pull out moisture.

Curious if the manual crank for the awning is more common than an automated version for lazy people like me! Finally, I didn’t see any work area/bench/dining area for one or two people working on their laptops. Perhaps I just missed this!

    In case that you are coming from other ultra-luxury caravan camper videos. Yes they have fancy looks, have luxury stuff and they can grab so much money and they are pretty wider. If you want to touch another button you have to pay another dollar. And when you drive them probably they will say ohh baby slower pls slower ...I called them Kım Kardashian.
    But, Look at the Titan Vans not so much not so less, exactly the true needs genuinely at your service. Lean,rock-solid, and powerful. I call Titan Vans Linda Hamilton from Terminator 2 . They protect you and are ready to give necessity when needs to. And when you drive, Titan says: Get out my way.

    How the hell are you loading 600ah after they're drawn empty? How long does it take with solar? How long do they last of shore?

    • @TitanVans
      @TitanVans  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The batteries are charged in three ways. Off of solar, from the alternator, and when plugged into shore power. The alternator puts out 250 A and would take just over two hours of driving to recharge. Solar is more of a trickle charger in comparison but can produce around 25 A in direct sunlight. Once plugged into shore, the batteries charge at 80 A and as long as you are using less than that at any given point in time then you can run off shore indefinitely.

    Omg that front bumper assembly looks absurd on the Sprinter.

    Great van, amazing garage but the sink is too close to the bed with no protection from splashing. Also no splashback to protect from cooking. Other than that awesome van!

      agree, a pressed tin backsplash would be cool (& lightweight)

    How come I can't find 4x4 170" extended?

    • @TitanVans
      @TitanVans  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not sure? They are less popular than the 144 and 170 but they are out there! You can also order direct from Mercedes.

    The rear doors are not conveniently insulated, there is a thermal bridge with the outside. Why wasn't it done?

    • @TitanVans
      @TitanVans  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is impossible to create a continuous thermal break in a vehicle without losing both functionality and a large amount of interior space. In addition there are many air penetrations in a vehicle that can not be sealed for a variety of reasons, as well as R0 windows. With all of that we do not find it worth the time or money to cover every metal surface. If you size the heater right it doesn't make much of a difference. We have slept in -20 F without a problem.

    Is this the Asteria. Freaking art. I would have added a winch and light bars. Why? Just because.

    It’s the shower 🚿 toilet 🚽 room are little disappointing.The wooden slat base of the shower,would be difficult to keep hygienically clean,mould will start to accumulate and will smell and become unsightly...The toilet sits too low for an adult,especially if they have a joint problem.If those things could be addressed,you’ve got yourself a PERFECT VAN!!

      The lower mat is teak and is used in marine applications and consistently wet environments. They hold up very well. Appreciate the feedback on toilet.
