Just a note, DOT regs...you must have 4 tie down points on that equipment. If one binder comes loose, your whole chain is now useless. You CAN use one chain, but you have to hook the end of the chains up to the trailer and hook binders to tractor...leaving slack in the center of the chain.

The twins are great kids, interested in everything mechanical and seem to get along with each other really well.... as a dad of 28 year old twin girls i know that the relationship can be fiery at times!

Hank, I don't know what the regulations are in your area, but in many areas the tie down for equipment must be connected to the equipment at 4 different points, thus the term "4 point tie down". What you have is a 2 point tie down. You are connected to the trailer at 4 points but to the equipment at only 2 points. That chain can shift or slip through the points of contact if there should be a strong side force, like a swerve to avoid something. You could get fined for not having it tied down correctly. You might also look into the regs on tying down the bucket.
You are so lucky to have the opportunity to use all that tractor!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🚜🚜🚜🚜 I like the way the three point arms are setup on this one, they are quick hitch like the Patt's from what I see in video. That 15% you are using for the pin weight of a gooseneck is at the low end of the recommended range of 15% - 30%. Most suggest to keep it at around 25% if you can.

My dad was a farmer so I grew up learning how to farm. Hank I know you really like these tractors. When we farmed we used Massey Fergusion tractors and equipment. John Deer , International, Alice Chalmers and Case were good tractors and were used by the other farmers. But we chose Massey Fergusion for two reasons, Price and Service. And I think service was a biggest reason. They had a awesome service department and back then if you purchased your equipment from them if you broke down you took priority over others that didn't buy from them but used them for service. That was a long time ago but if you don't have service you don't have anything.
I love the system for the wheight on your gooseneck. In europe we dont really have goosenecks but we do have a thing too see the weight on a normal trailer. That one cost €30 and works awesome. Idk what the one for the gooseneck costs but i would think anything close too that😅 its no rocket science so they are cheap.

When loading and unloading tractors and large equipment on trailers you don’t want the machine on such a high RPM. It can make for dangerous movements to happen unexpectedly.just idle it on. Idle it off. Much safer and easier

Should have secured the load with 2 Chains and two binders in the rear and two chains and two binders in the front and secured the bucket

The 754 is very nice. I like that tractor alot.
First thing when fueling if it don't reach don't lay the fuel nozzle on the ground in the dirt and then you spill it everywhere. Can't believe you did that !

I will tell you one thing that you already know, you do have two fine young granddaughters, I love how they take an interest inwhat Pappa does, and they are really smart and good at what they do! I am positive that they will succeed in anything that they decide to do with their life! I can drive a truck or run equipment better than some adults that I say do it on a daily basis! And that is the gospel truth!! You go Zee & Dub, you are some very smart and intelligent young ladies, and on top of that, are some beautiful young ladies as well! I think you picked the tractor up in Bonifay. My parents are from the area. My grandfather farmed in the 1930's to about 1950 North of Bonifay. I have great memories of Bonifay and I still have relatives living near there.
I actually like the mechanical self leveling loader. Did not think I would give a spit about that but now that I’ve got it I like it.

Hank, when you say getting the T754, you mean for long term use or trading in the T574 for it? All your implements are properly sized for the T574, and would need upgraded except the batwing. Hopefully you mean the T754 in addition to your current tractor inventory.

Hope you don’t make the same mistakes as I did with my granddaughter. I let her drive my big John deer and she was driving it into barn she went right through the wall.
It used to be when hauling a tractor with a turbo you were supposed to cover the exhaust so the wind wasn't dry turning the turbo going down the road. It may not be a thing anymore.
Nice video and good advice from you farther. Why not show the girls how to operate the tractor like they don't need to use the clutch at all and no need to rev the engine so much.

That was a poor securement on that new tractor. You went through the steak pocket, not around it. Therefore, you're only using one piece of that steak pocket and one weld. Maybe two where you should have wrapped the chain around. Hooked it to itself on the steak pocket as hooking it to itself. I mean wrap the chain around the state pocket down around the bottom back up, hook the chain, hook back to the chain and then secure it. If you look at your trailer, those steak pockets aren't very thick. I'm a flat better. I haul very heavy steel up and down the highway and your securement was terrible and unsafe
Tie Down was not dot . You only had 2 tie down points. If that back chain breaks you lose both tie down points for rear same for front . Not being rude or nasty but $2500 later I know better . Use 4 binders hook end of chain to tractor and each binder to the trailer . Thus if one breaks in an accident you still have 3 points of retention. God bless keep up the great videos. TYM also builds some of the Mahindra tractors. So I wouldn’t expect the best quality out them but fine for the hobbyist farmer/rancher

To me I don’t know if they can take the abuse like the Massy and Deere and the others do I’m still kind of skeptical about these tractors
Deere or Massey will sell alot quicker than that one all day.

I am surprised you didn't get pulled over. It is illegal to haul it without securing the bucket loader because it could raise up and hit a bridge

When I was running Hot shot we had to have the minimum of five chains on a piece of equipment like that how is he getting away with just two chains that's it 2 chains he might have four tie down points but he only has two chains on the equipment none on the attachment help me out
