I hope you like this series! I will have a guide for every Pokemon, let me know who you'd like to see! Feel free to leave your own tips th-cam.com/video/RRkRM6qc-hw/w-d-xo.html
A couple tips for Beginner Gengar players: Its VERY important to exercise the ability to play both movesets, the meta can change very rapidly so if you want to power through whatever you might face, the different movesets counter each pokemon differently so try the alternating movesets. Also, please dont forget, you DON'T have invincibility frames in the unite move. I cannot say this enough. You can get hit by moves who deal area damage which is highly common. One last thing, just because you are an assassin, doesn't mean your prioritized over everyone else, I have sacrificed myself MANY times to win the game, so if you see an opening to win but you have to do something risky in the process, DO IT, it just might pay off. Bonus Tip: if you aren't aware of the map at ALL TIMES, you are playing Gengar wrong, map awareness is EXTREMELY, important for gengar players because of your ability to steal objectives and whenever your opponents see that there is a gengar, them might try to use all their resources on you, so try and stick with teammates a lot of the time because you are very vulnerable.
One quick note. Gengar’s unite move shouldn’t be used for it’s damage. It’s biggest tool is the invisibility. You have the ability to dive straight into the enemy backline without being punished, so using this to take out the enemy attacker or speedster is much better than using it to try to put more damage onto their tank
I'm sad there were no more installments of this series!! I knew the basics, but the pro tips on combos and stuff are the most useful thing I have ever seen on TH-cam. Hope we get another guide soon!
Tip: gengar while in unite move and invisible can still take damage/be stunned by moves that don't need a target eg: espeon alt, slowbro telekenisis etc moves that can't hit gengar while invisible: slowbro alt, espeon stored power etc So it's difficult to sneak into rayquaza arena and wait under rayquaza untill opponents get rayq to low hp and then steal it because at least one opponent will hit you on accident and then you will fail to steal rayq. instead you should 1. Participate in the teamfight in case you lose the teamfight and are somehow still alive 2. go to the top left L bush or the bush at the bottom entry to the legend pit(where rayq spawns and wait. While waiting pan the camera to see rayq's hp , once it is low go above the middle wall and use shadow ball/dream eater /hex/sludge bomb to snipe rayq(if you still have alt use alt first to turn invisible )this has a higher probability of working then camping under rayq with alt active.
This is such a great way to summarize guides for each Pokemon! I love this so much! For the next Pokemon SYWTM guide, I think underused Pokemon such as Cramorant or Hoopa could be great, especially that the Pick and Ban is being tested. I think people would be encouraged more to check or try them out
Now do Decidueye because as a decidueye main I feel like alot of people don't use it because of how hard it is for people who are just trying it. So definitely a guide can help people with starting out
A tip so that the enemy won't expect you, snipe them with dream eater while in your unite, they won't see it coming.i really like this combo while in unite. It's dream eater, shadow ball, dream eater, unite, boosted, shadow ball.
I like seeing this type of content not for learning how to play as the Pokemon, but for learning about the Pokemon in general. It gives me a basic understanding why some Pokemon can do the things they do like all the combo's gengar can do depending on the moves it currently has or the general playstyle. It helps me further my understanding of how to play against the Pokemon or along with it as a team member. That isn't something that is easily listed on DB for all Pokemon. It makes it tough to pick up the game and continue from where you last left off cause the meta can shift very quickly with each patch. Such as the current patch changing charizard's true damage causing them to be nerfed. It can be difficult to keep up with how everything works when they keep adding more and more Pokemon to play.
One thing is when to choose which moveset. I feel dream eater/shadow ball works well when the enemies are not that tanky, while hex/sludge bomb allows you to take out defenders/tanky all rounders.
One thing I'd like to suggest for Gengar is the slick spoon. It ignores up to 30% of an enemy's sp defence, while also increasing your own sp atk AND your hp as well.
Heavily doubt Teeds knows how to play cram properly and he "struggles" in the current meta no pro teams use him at all and he's got an impressive pickrate of 4%
@@OwOIord Actually, this is his meta. Right now mages are meta. Cram and duraladon are damn near identical. Duraladon is crushing the meta right now and cram is as well. He's just under used. Cram, is VERY STRONG right now.
Great video Teeds! 👍 I’d be happy with any Pokémon next but I think a guide on how to play a defender or supporter would be great, since many players would benefit from knowing how to zone at objectives, how to CC for teammates, etc.
I'd like to have tips for Axumarill. Although, I knew most of the information I need from inder, spragels, and CrisHeroes, I still need your help to let me understand Axumarill mechanics in an understandable way that you usually do. Love your videos, btw, especially the Teeds n Nuts Reddit Show! 😁😁
Eyy back to the guides! I originally subbed for your well-made, in-depth guides and I’m glad they’re making a comeback. Don’t get me wrong though I’ve been LOVING the more fun, comedy/personality focused stuff you’ve been doing and it reminds me that there’s lots of genuine fun to be had in this game if you just ignore soloq for a bit 😂💞
Two tips from a fellow Gengar main. #1 Never chase after the Gengar. They are not running away rather waiting to kill you after moves cooldown. #2 You can take lick as first pick. Lick the Xatu over the wall. Path with the Xatu downwards until you come to the next wall segment. Then use your boosted attack gained from lick to jump the wall. Thanks Teeds
I love Gengar in the games and in the Anime, Gengar is soooo cool i like how he is a ghost and his prankster and friendly personality i also like ghosts
If you feel like your teammates can't get Rayquaza, use gengar's unite move when Ray's health is low and emerge out right when it's bout to die so that you can steal it for your team. That's the only way to go if your team doesn't rotate well when you're a gengar.
I want to see Greninja in one of these videos because most players I encounter recommend Surf+Smoke Screen but based on my experience Water Shuriken+Double Team works better for me. I want to know why Surf and Smoke Screen better than Water Shuriken and Double Team
@@marlandrem.carreon2367 Exactly, also surf gets bonus damage if enemy is below 75%hp and resets everytime u get a ko with it , so its a really great cleanup tool in teamfights and applies great pressure on enemies
Something I have learnt while destroying Veteran players in ranked, they always fall to the 8 minutes first zone destroy, I mean, at level 5, with deam eater you can double kill them if you play it right and stack up to max and then take regi in bot, by then your level 10 while everyone else is level 6 and then you go top and one shot them, take rekiliki and take the two zones, works every single time
Maybe I'm doing it wrong but I always try to hit shadowball first then dreameater. But if you are high in rank then I'll suggest doing the opposite, dreameater first then shadowball, this is because the higher you are in rank, the more competitive and experienced players are.
I'm starting to get the urge to master all the Assassins just so I can one-shot the invisible gremlin. FUCK Sableye. Why did TiMi ever think it was okay
It sucks getting ohko'ed every other match by this devil. So I'm taking the Batman route of "You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself becom the villain."
Please do a dodrio guide. I'm a dodrio main so I want to learn more tips an tricks about dodrio. Also I just want to see how you'll do the guide because to my knowledge you don't play dodrio.
Please do Decicueye and Greninja. They are the most picked pokemon and also the worst performing pokemon in my teams. Whenever I see either one or worse, both, I know it's going to be tough game or straight up loss
TIP: The correct combo is actually: Shadow Ball Dream Eater Dream Eat Shadow Ball Because Shadow Ball lowers enemy Defense, allowing your Dream Eater to deal more damage. I got my 1st Pentakill recently by using Gengar and I can confirm that Gengar does indeed make the “enemy team surrender”.
One thing is when to choose which moveset. I feel dream eater/shadow ball works well when the enemies are not that tanky, while hex/sludge bomb allows you to take out defenders/tanky all rounders.
Teeds is becoming a Pokémon Unite teacher that can rap. I love it as a nerd 🥳
Pokemon and rap, how has nobody ever put that combo together before?
(wonder how many people will feel the need to point out the obvious)
